These hotel owners and staff absolutely are out to keep the rooms empty but yet paid for. Scandalous like a used car salesman who just sold a lemon he knew wouldnt make it a mile down the road.

Photos on website make it seem like it’s a beautiful hotel but it’s definitely not. The room was clean but the hotel itself is in need of a major update. It’s quite old, musty and dark. Also, needs an elevator.

This is an older property with an outdoor pool, hot tub, and small fitness room. The continental breakfast was better than most, and they have hot coffee available 24/7. Gotta love that! The rooms are a decent size, beds comfy with multiple pillows on each bed. The staff is excellent, from the front desk to the housekeeping staff and the lovely lady that handles the breakfast. It’s close to Walmart, Home Depot, coffee shops, and liquor stores for emergencies, and a 10 minute drive to downtown Ft Collins. The only complaint I had was there aren’t enough parking spaces for guest vehicles at night. Some have to park in the back of the hotel, Where half the spaces are leased year round to residents in the RV community next door. I didn’t feel comfortable parking there at night after coming back from dinner.

Cute little affordable hotel for Fort Collins. Beds were comfy.

Absolutely loved the pool side rooms and the fact of having an outdoor pool. It was super hot outside and we had the pool to ourselves. Definitely will stay here again.

The people were attentive and very accommodating. Always asked if everything has ok!

Quick three night stay. Late check in allowed, good breakfasts. Easy check out. Nothing fancy but it's a good and safe hotel

Nice hotel with excellent staff

For our purposes, it was located w/in easy access to Old Town Ft. Collins and the CSU campus via bike.

The best photo you will see is the lobby, the rest of the place could use a facelift. Breakfast was mediocre. The pool sits right off the road so you can watch the traffic go by. A nicer fence and just a touch of greenery would be a huge upgrade. The front desk was friendly.

Nice place, would stay again. The only downside was no elevator, and my friend and I had some difficulty dragging luggage up and downstairs. Nice breakfast.

The hotel is a little dated. Overall it was clean, comfortable, and the front desk clerk was kind and accommodating!

Staff was curious and informed both during my initial phone call and then at check in. The room has very nice and was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was good too.

We enjoyed our stay at the Riva inn clean quiet room comfortable bed nice pool and hot tub we will definitely be back.

It was great! Room and hotel in general were very clean. I didn't have breakfast there so can't comment on that. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was good. I feel it is a little overpriced though so for that reason, not sure I'd stay again. Otherwise, very clean. Thank you.

Our room was clean and well appointed. The free hot breakfast was substantial and fresh. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful.

This was a nice stay at a reasonable price. The grounds were clean. Small selection of hot breakfast was nice as well. The pool was nice as was the indoor got tub. Would stay here again

We stayed just one night but it was super comfortable, clean, with very comfortable beds. The hosts are the owners and very friendly. They provide a nice breakfast. The decor is very cute with the Southwest theme. Parking was a little tight, but there seemed to be a full house and we did find a space very convenient to the front of the hotel. I would stay again and others at breakfast had stayed there before and stated they are always happy with their stays.

The air condition in room did not work it’s very hot I called front desk several times they refused to move me or send someone up to check it out was very uncomfortable

Really nice for the price. I was on a cross country drive and just needed a place to sleep but this was better than expected. Its an older property but very clean and comfortable. The only slightly negative feedback is the pillows were kinda flat. Otherwise, a great place.

Friendly staff in this nicely maintained hotel. The only “knock” is that you are hit with a wave of chlorine when you walk in to the lobby and then pop out from your room- from the pool just past the lobby.
