I never write reviews, but in this economy, I felt that it’s important for me to say something……The room here itself was ok. Really clean, but the shower leaked out onto the floor terribly. But what dropped the score so low is the fact that they’ve charged my husband’s card 3 times, after they assured is that it was resolved the first time it was messed up (so, that makes 4 times they’ve messed up payments.) All this has left us completely broke for the duration of our trip to see our son that just became a soldier. We’ve called and we can’t get anything resolved. If you decide to stay here, just watch your bank account. I can assure you we will never stay at a Holiday Inn again just for this simple reason.

I was very disappointed with this hotel. The property is in need of an update. Upon entering the hotel it was dirty, and had an odor. Our room had a weird smell. The walls were scuffed and chipped and there were crumbs everywhere. The bathroom had a gassy odor and needed a good cleaning.

Clean, friendly staff, and well stocked. We will return here again, like we do every year. It IS a bit noisy, as there are a good number of people who forget that others are wanting to sleep at midnight, and it's near the interstate so some traffic noise, but the hotel itself is clean and nice.

It was amazing. Very clean and the staff was amazing. The beds were very very comfortable and they gave us directions to Fort Jackson for family day and Graduation! Differently recommend!

Lady that was in charge of the kitchen for breakfast was fantastic. Super nice and polite. Bathroom leaked and a mess. Didn’t get moved into a new room. Poor customer service.

It was a fairly decent hotel. My complaint is that they really need to update or get new pull-out beds. You can feel the bed springs, not comfortable at all.

There was nobody at the front desk when I arrived. Had to wait about 10-15 minutes before anyone showed up. Once he did though, he was very friendly and courteous.
Overall the hotel is clean and modern. Our room needed more attention from a vacuum. There were crumbs of some sort of food around the sofa area.
Lots of breakfast options and looked like a nice clean outdoor pool. But it was raining the entire day so we didn’t use it.

The area this property was in was not the best. The room was great but I probably wouldn’t stay in this area again with 2 small children alone.

An excellent choice for an overnight stay. Several choice restaurants were within a mile of the hotel, whether you liked fast food or a sit down at a restaurant. The room was very accommodating, clean and comfortable. The free breakfast had many choices from cold cereal to hot eggs bacon or sausage. Everything was well prepared and tasty. Will definitely stay there again.

First room has broken door and blinds. Dirty. Second room was much better but in front of reception which gets noisy. All we wanted was a clean place to sleep and go

The staff were very nice. Probably the best part of our stay. We got the worst room we have stayed in a hotel for a very long time. The pull out couch was awful, my daughter ended up sleeping on the couch because she couldn’t sleep on the terrible mattress (I know it’s a fold out but we have had great ones at other hotels). An entrance/exit door was right outside our room so we heard noise all night long. The room had graffiti on all different parts of different furniture, spider webs all along the floor with dead bugs stuck in them. It just wasn’t a clean, nor comfortable room. It’s a bummer because we usually like to stay at holiday inn expresses.

Hotel was ok but not up to par for a holiday inn. Outside the hotel definitely looks like it needs a paint job. The beds were very uncomfortable, unlike most holiday inns i have stayed in before. Do not recommend and will use the new Delta or another hotel if visiting Columbia again.

My overall experience was very good the most that stand out for me is when I went in my room it smelled real fresh the linen was nice and clean and white the staffs were very friendly I truly enjoyed my stay and I will be returning

The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how dirty the floors were. I thought it was just the lobby area...nope! All of the halls and common areas needed a vacuuming badly.
The room was okay and the bed was comfortable. The shower leaked all over the floor and the tiles were coming up because they had been wet so much. We told the front desk, and they said they know there's a problem but it's too expensive to fix. I'd probably stay somewhere else next time.

I HIGHLY recommend this so on your travels! As a woman traveling alone street is always a priority and this location gets the highest score in this area. The room was fantastic as well, absolutely no concerns!

Definitely an older building but it was close to where we needed to be. Plenty of restaurants in the area. 2 of our pillow cases were clearly dirty. There was a party going on next door about 11pm but luckily it didnt last to long. Staff was nice and welcoming but, for the money i would probably chose a different place next time.

It was a nice place with comfortable amenities. Nice location. But the room was very humid and the sheets felt wet. Uncomfortable sleep for that reason.

The hotel is clean, safe, and convenient. The only complaint I have is that we needed a handicap room and found that the shower has no handrails inside the shower itself and had no seat which made it a fall risk
