Overall the hotel was just okay. The property needs to be updated. A paint job and new carpet would do wonders. The mattress protection cover on my bed was badly stained with blood and what appeared to be urine. I removed the cover and took it to the front desk. The front desk clerk brought me a clean one.

Love the beds and pillows. We were there for a funeral and I appreciated the check in process. There were several family members staying in the hotel also and we used the lobby area quite a bit. I found them to be understaffed but still so nice and helpful.

The staff was great! Everyone was accommodating and kind.
First day there was no hot water?
Then next day, NO WATER for an hour or two, then red rust water for too long.
Worrying about water was not the highlight of trip.

For a three star hotel, I was really disappointed in the condition of the room. The bathroom had water damage, the shower didn’t drain properly, the shower curtain rod wouldn’t stay upright, and the pillows were so old they were like boxes.

We have stayed at the La Quinta in Cookeville, TN many times. It is seeing some wear from age and needs an update.

The people working were so nice, but the room was GROSS. Mold in the bathroom, the bathroom door was falling apart. The room smelled heavily like feet - almost to the point where we couldn't sleep. The floor was wet when we arrived, and we found pieces of someone else's hair throughout the bed and bathroom.

I found a few things in the room left over from the previous people to stay in the room, which leads me to believe it wasn’t cleaned properly.

I went into the bathroom and saw water standing in the tub and it was absolutely disgusting. Covered in hair and filth.
I gathered my things and left. Sought accommodations at a different hotel altogether.
I’ve stayed at this hotel probably 15 times in the last two years for work. Given the conditions, it’s likely I’ll never return.

The air in the room barely worked and hardly blew out cool air. The shower water did not get very hot and when it did get somewhat hot it took forever to do so. The pool was green and dirty. The lighting at night in the pool patio area is awful and the pool is not lit up at all making it dangerous to swim at dark. The pool was also freezing.

The hotel has noticeable signs of wear and tear. The sink in one of our rooms didn't drain well, and the air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool. On a positive note, the breakfast was adequate, but overall, the experience was good.

Found out when we checked out that the maintenance workers were the ones staying above us, we were in rm101, they sounded like a heard of cattle untill 3am. which made our night horrible.

We had ants horribly in our entire room and guest down the hall had dogs that barked the entire time

We ended up checking out early due to finding bedbugs. The front desk worker was kind however.

Two staff members came to our room on our second night there at about 10 o’clock and accused us of being in the room when it was supposed to be vacant and accused us of not paying when I clearly had confirmation and paid

Room was nice. But the bathroom looked like a rush job and not finished. With a few items and two hours it could be polished off......but it needs to be done.

While the staff were good , the bathroom needed help.the bathtub drained very slowly and we ended up standing in water while showering. The pull was stuck in the shower position and I couldn't take a bath. The water control handle pulled off.

Overall the property was good. Breakfast only had biscuits and gravy waffles no butter or reg syrup and cereal. That’s what you get for free. Checked in no one said what time they were serving breakfast, where the elevator was , where to find the WiFi password or which way to go to the room. If you find a better choice go there. Night shift gentlemen and day shift woman very friendly.

WiFi barely worked, beds were so squeaky that you couldn’t sleep because of people in rooms around you, and breakfast was very limited

Our bathroom was in poor condition. Mold on the ceiling. The bath had rusted spots and was dirty around the drain. The carpet was torn and lumpy in places. I did the pre check in on my phone, because we knew we would be getting to the hotel late at night. The person at the front desk had us fill out all the information we had already done. In my opinion not worth what we paid.

The room was decent however, the ceilings look like there had been a lot of water damage in the past and the repairs were not done very well. The bathroom tiles on the floor were disgusting. All night long I could hear noise from the upstairs room. The pool closed early, and they used a time frame of sundown instead of a specific hour, which was confusing.
