Good location for walking to tourist sites lucked out getting a parking space as they are limited.

We loved our unusually large bedroom. Felt the staff could have been more welcoming.

The hotel was ok, room comfortable and a great location for shopping and exploring sites in Stratford upon Avon. We had booked on a half board basis, wish we hadn't. The choices of meals in the evening was limited and did not change for the duration of our stay which was 3 nights. We ended up eating elsewhere. At breakfast items were constantly running out, and at one point half cooked pastries were served. It was that bad we were offer a 25% refund

Truly enjoyed Strat ford on Avon and the Doubletree Staff.A very unique property and great access to everything including the train. Keep up your good Friendly ways. -Mike

Disappointing . This hotel could be better presented; nor does it offer good value .Reception was efficient and friendly . A plus is the on site parking[ available if you arrive early ] but it is charged extra . Our room was a reasonable size but dark . The setting of the hotel is so so .It is however only a short walk from the edge of town centre . The vehicular [side] entrance to the site is ugly - as is the rear of building . There is a garden by the front entrance but it was basically a lawn and some trees on the boundary + a few tables . No flower beds or ornamental shrubs . The decor is throughout the hotel very old fashioned - despite being contemporary .There is too much dark wood and furniture + widespread brown wallpaper & brown carpeting .The whole hotel has a quite gloomy and dated feel feel - reminiscent of the 1970s . When we there one of the two lifts was not working . The bed - in our dark & brown room - wasn't comfortable . It sagged on both sides and needed replacing & The air conditioning did not work well to cool the room . The dining also had gloomy feel & breakfast was nothing out of the ordinary . The self service area was cramped meaning queuing/congestion was a problem as the hot food / bread & toaster areas were too close . Some items on the menu weren't available . This is supposed midrange hotel but it struggles to offer value and in my view is no better than a Premier innn despite higher room rates

The advert said parking was £7.50 a day. When we got here, the sign in the car park told us to pay via the ACPOA app, which cost £10.20 for a day. Reception told us that had we paid via them, it would face cost £8! Why was there no sign in the park? An annoying start! The keyless entry system in your app was pointless as you need a key card for the elevator and room lights! The building was fine but looking a bit tired and dated.

The hotel was very convenient and only a short walk into the town, we was happy with the parking arrangements onsite at the hotel although you do have to pay. If you was arriving by train the station was just a short walk away and so was Morrisons. We chose not to have the additional cost breakfast as we are not early eaters and i dont like packaged uht milk so would have been nice to have a mini fridge in the room to store real milk and our water. We would definitely stay again at the hotel.

The hotel is well placed for the centre of Stratford especially the theatres

A very short walk from the train station. Lovely space with great staff who were really helpful. About a 15 min walk from the RSC through the main part of town.

Ok stay, quiet room, shabby carpets, slippy bathroom floor. Basic breakfast, lukewarm 'hot' food, cold dining room. Good location and parking.

Overall enjoyed our stay. Would have been better if the air-con was working although a fan was provided.

Great quiet hotel set in gardens. The place is about 5 minutes from the cente of the town but away from the noise of the center. Breakfast was good and plenty of it. Staff were friendly. The room was large, very clean and included a desck, a sitting area, wardrobes and side tables. The tea tray was basic but did the job. The bathroom was smallish but big enough for us. The shower was hot and strong but a little too close to the wall to get fully under. Parking was 8.50 A great stay

The room was OK but small and with roof eaves so head space was restricted. No fridge in the room and as ever these days the soaps etc are pinned to the wall so useless if having a bath. Breakfast was very good

We had to ring reception every day to get the air conditioning turned up. The bath plug was not working so we had to stand in the cold water (the following morning) from the shower we had the previous evening. We requested twice the contrast be turned up on the TV picture to dark. This was never accomplished! Lighting from the main road entrance to the hotel needs to be installed. Possibly H&S issue. Hotel vlean and tidy. Rooms good with all amenities. Service in restaurant abit hit and miss but food quality was good. Ideal location for City Centre. Parking good with survalance.

Excellent stay. Room very comfortable, lovely clean bathroom. Stayed with my young adult daughter who was unfortunately slightly unwell during our time there, so we did spend a lot more time in the room than we expected, it was no hardship staying in such a lovely room. Would definitely stay here again.

At the breakfast buffet, every plate in the entire stack was dirty. They looked as if they had been wiped with a damp cloth then stacked. They had greasy wipe marks and tiny particles of hardened-on food. Some of the plates were stuck together. The only egg option was precooked sunny side up with runny whites sitting on a warming tray. Although the breakfast room was crowded with attendants to clear the tables, I did not see anyone available to cook eggs to order.

Have stayed at Double Tree by Hilton in other locations and they have always been good. A bit disappointed with the hotel in Stratford Upon Avon. No one at reception on arrival. Room a little dated. Noisey room overlooing main road. Would not stay here again.

Quiet location. Plenty of parking. Very clean hotel. Nothing to dislike.

We had a wonderful stay. Hotel not far from Town Centre so easy to walk in and see the sights. Friendly customer service and immaculate presented room. Plenty of storage and well equipped. Would definately return.

Nice hotel in a great location. 5 minute walk to everything. Air conditioning is controlled by reception. Could never get the room cool enough. Breakfast is overpriced and not the spread you’d expect for the money.
