Our view is excellent, our checking was great, and we love the property and its location. Would come back.

It is a very nice facility

The hotel is very pretty. It is inside of Palmetto Dunes Resort, which is beautiful. The only negative about this area is that there are not walkable dining options. You either eat at the Hilton or the other expensive restaurant, Alexander's, on the Palmetto Dunes Resort property. As a hotel property, you feel isolated with your dining options.

I had service issues.

Not good property for older people. Too many stairs. Also don’t expect them to honor the $50 per day credit. It was supposed to be on my reservation. It was not and they would not honor it. I mean how would I have even known to ask for it had it not popped up as a benefit.

It was a Marriot before March 2024. The cleanliness was not that perfect . I think Hilton is still in the process of some renovations. The doors of the rooms and bathrooms needed tending to. The cleaning staff though were frequently visited did not do their job through unfortunately. One guest with a dog bought it to the indoor pool and it was not a serve dog. And other guest were also getting uncomfortable. We also came out of the hot tub as it was trying to get in there also . Guests shared their unpleasantness to the other guest and when we went upstairs in our room and called the guest services they said the supervisor will be notified. The hotel should place signs about animals clearly esp in the pool and hot tub areas! It was highly inappropriate and unhygienic. The guest sign in person Mustafa was v kind at check in !

Very relaxing and had everything you needed right on the resort

It was nice ,clean and convenient but it was Ok not super Ok.

Room was nice. Property seems outdated and a bit unkempt. Very loud noise outside at night. Also had to take cold showers as the water would not heat up.

The property is undergoing renovations because of its switch from Marriott to Hilton, but the quality of service has not wavered from amazing. The front desk, housekeeping, poolside, and Food and Beverage staff are above par in their excellence of service.

Nice pool, beach, dining and very relaxing!

The TV in our room was not working and the maintenance man (Ralph) I believe brought in another TV and no avail. Ralph worked on the issue until 1030pm. I went to front desk and moved to third floor from fifth floor. Furthermore, the ice machine was not working and after two days still not working.

We had a wonderful stay in an oceanfront room. Everything was very nice and clean. Every person on the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Very bad experience with Bed bugs and roaches

This is an above-average resort. Pool area was ok. Be aware of the resort fees, resort fee tax, SELF parking fees, parking tax, destination fee, overpriced drinks and food. Too many fees.

We had a great stay!

The property is in disrepair. The halls in the room sections smell bad. Maybe dirty carpet. Who can say but it's not something you get used to in a few days. The pool ladder in the deep pool had a spinning rung which was dangerous. The elevators were skethcy at best. The toilet in our ocean front room ran constantly. It was loud and strange. The worst thing was that the property smells like a marijuana party. The groundmen and maintenance staff did not even hide or act discreet about smoking dope in broad daylight. Not my scene.

We love the pool, especially the cushioned pool side cabanas, the easy access to the beach, the great service and the buffet breakfast.

This was a first time visit to Hilton Head and our stay was very pleasant and will be a cherished memory!

Reported problems with our door, not closing properly and not locking and never fixed. Maintenance guy came and looked at it, but never fixed it. Also no hot water in the shower just warm. After reading other post I see this is an ongoing issue at this resort.

This was my 2nd time here and we are satisfied.

It’s old and shows it. The room had a very bad odor. The trim in the bathroom was rusted. All the fees are ridiculous , $10 for me to park my own car. A can of domestic beer was $10.50, an all time record for me.

Very friendly staff, very clean and well kept

A Perfect Beachfront Getaway! Our stay at the Hilton Beachfront Resort and Spa on Hilton Head Island was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality; and a special shout-out to David Wilkins at the front desk who went above and beyond to upgrade us to a room with a breathtaking ocean view. It truly made our trip even more special. The resort itself is stunning, with both indoor and outdoor pools, as well as hot tubs that are perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. The lounge chairs by the pool offer a serene spot to take in the gorgeous ocean views, and the easy access to the beach means you can walk right out onto the sand anytime you want. The staff throughout the resort were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure every aspect of our stay was perfect. We especially loved sitting on our balcony, enjoying the wonderful views of the ocean – it was truly a sight to behold. If you’re looking for a place to unwind, soak in some sun, and enjoy beautiful ocean views, the Hilton Beachfront Resort and Spa is the perfect choice. We can’t wait to return!

Great place to vacation Great staff

This property has its ups and downs. My experience is good and disappointing in the same time. The overall 5 stars I gave is because of the hotel’s location so close to the beach. The beach was amazing! Beautiful, walkable, super clean and not crowded. The reason why we chose this property was the ocean and the beach and I was very happy with that. Now, my disappointment comes from the concerning facts of our room. Once we checked in, our room was hot, humid and smelled like sheep fur. I immediately opened the fridge, it was unplugged and full with mold. I have two small children so I desperately needed the fridge to keep their milk in there. We decided to let the staff know. They were nice and they offered new rooms. We checked the new rooms and it was basically the same,except the fridge was okay in this one and the room smelled like paint because they sprayed the AC vent to cover dirt, rust, etc.We decided to stay in the original room. We recognized the situation and we knew that these rooms are old and cheaply maintained. We had no options and we kept the original room. We cleaned the mold from the fridge with vinegar and we gave it a try. We set up the AC and it got so much better by the next day. Room kept its unpleasant smell. Overall we respect that they are trying. Hallways are renovated. Elevators are old and slow.Pool was very clean even with some nasty guest spitting in it. The pool side was new and beautiful! Staff were nice. But rooms need TLC!

Lots of Reno work happening and much needed repairs still needed to outdoor areas

Convenience to go places was good, description of the room were a little misleading

Had to call technician about blow dryer, ice machine broke and TV WAS MESSED UP! And it was our 21 St ANNIVERSARY

The room had a moldy smell upon entering. Dining was short staffed to the point that we simply left after waiting for someone to take our drink order who never showed up. The resort fee is a joke. Parking is not included and cost $10 a day. If you want to sit by the pool you will need to rent a chair. Not sure what the resort fee is for, as we felt nickle and dimed the entire stay. Oh and if you want room service good luck with that the phone in the room did not work. Shower was warm at best not hot at all. Much better places to stay on the island and will not be back.
