Nice and quiet place really relaxing. Owner is a very good person

The location has easy access to the freeway, but is far enough away to be quiet. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. We talked about the interesting history of the motel and the area. We had an upstairs room, but he gave us a free upgrade to a nicer room downstairs. Our room was fresh, clean and lightfilled. We were very happy with it.

Enjoyed my room that had been totally renovated with all the conveniences. Centrally located to downtown in easy walking distance to all of the attractions. It was easy to find and easy access from the Freeway.

Perfectly fine for price. Could do with a little maintenance but, the bed was comfortable, the air conditioner worked and the water was hot.

Room was small and needed maintenance. Air conditioning did not work well.

Walls are paper thin, could hear the guy next door snore all night. Bed is hard. No ice maker. Price was fair especially during the summer months.

The hotel is older, but just fine if you’re not planning to lounge at your hotel. It’s a more or less quiet spot with close to everything. The staff was very friendly, and check in and out was easy.

I’ve tried many motels in the area. This one is the best if you are looking for something simple, cheap, comfortable, and quiet their in room. AC was very quiet. I enjoyed my stay here. This is ideal if you are going on a short business trip

Honestly Everything Was Okay Except For The Smell Of Urine In The Room The Whole Time.. I Didnt Notice It Till After I Woke Up From My Nap After I Checked In And It Was Not Worth Mentioning It Because The Response Was As I Thought...The Prior Guests Never Said Anything...I Wasnt To Impressed With Havin To Walk 2 Blocks To 7-11 For Coffee Either... Being Prejudged By The Staff Wasn't Comfortable Either...Wont Stay There Ever Again...

Large, comfortable room. Nice amenities (microwave and small fridge).

I stayed in Room #1 right next to the sidewalk/street but was still quiet enough to sleep. An updated new room that was very clean and well lit. Super clean bathroom and great water flow in shower.

Rooms needs to be throughly cleaned, lamp shade in room looks like it has a few human stains. Shower door sold old would not stay closed, mold on shower floor, all base boards and walls dirty and need to be repaired and painted. Property grounds are also in need of repairs and cleaning. Such a same this place could be a nice but not in the state it is in. Seems more and more central coast Hotels are in the same state but still charge a lot. Also no Ice machine, no dirty clothes bags, no in room coffee makers, Over all property is in bad shape. Will not stay at this place again it is not “your home away from home” we sure don’t live in the conditions this place is in.

Great place to stay!

This place is the definition of "rinky dink". The rooms appear to have been converted from something else. Beds were ok, I guess. Not sure if they had mattress pads, or just sheet-on-mattress. Shower was comical - shower head hit somewhere between my belly button and my chin, and the shower was too small to really lean down and get my hair wet. Location is excellent, good parking, and it was clean enough. I know SLO is expensive, but I'm not sure this was worth $180/night (after taxes and fees). Likely will not stay here again.

Just crashed for the night. Excellent small simple room with tons of amenities. Very spacey just for one person but it was still comfortable. Parked my car without worry. Plus super close to a bunch of stuff. Definitely recommend for the price i booked it for not expensive at all.

We have stayed here before. Easy to go in and out with car, walking to downtown and comfy rooms.

Very noisy froze my ass off because the heater doesn't work right and no plugs anywhere just charge your cell phone

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Las Padres. The accommodations were just what we needed and we were pleasantly surprised at both the affordability and quality of the property. We will definitely be returning! Great location that is close to downtown SLO!

Nice little place run by a friendly and helpful family. Room was large and clean, bed in good shape. Automatic light in the bathroom was a bit (=very) bright in the middle of the night. Would stay again.

Low cost, but you get what you pay for. Pro: good location, close to downtown SLO and the Thursday Market. Con: Shower did not drain properly, AC in closet was marginally effective. Parking spaces are tight. Overall condition is old and worn. Area around hotel has improved as new businesses have moved in.

The ADA room's bathroom had a barn door however didn't fully seal the sides

It was a nice room; nothing fancy, but it worked well for us; since we were hardly there. The people were nice

The double room is big and spacious, with two big beds.
