In town for a wedding. Great experience overall

I reserved the room on Hotels.com app and paid with my credit card on file. At check in the front desk took my card for incidentals and instead charged me for the room rate. After realizing their mistake, I went to the front desk where they acknowledged the accident and said they would correct it. At check out they still hadn’t corrected the issue, but apologized and assured me it would be resolved. It is now a day later and it is still on my card. I am disputing it with the credit card company.
At two a.m. I went in search of a soda machine. The front desk attendants told me there weren’t any, but they could sell me a can from “the back”. I agreed, but then they informed me I could only pay cash. No card and no room charge? Since I didn’t have cash they directed me to a 7-11 two blocks away and told me to “put up my hood because it’s cold out”.
Simply put, this hotel lacks any and all customer service. It is a beautiful, clean and comfortable hotel. Sadly it is in dire need of employee training.

Great location, steps away from the Sandler Center. Check-in was relatively quick but the elevators were malfunctioning and we couldn’t get to our room until escorted there by a front desk employee. The room was spacious, clean and quiet, but when I wanted to tip the housekeeping staff, I couldn’t get the ATM to give me money and the front desk suggested I go “buy something” at the Walgreens and get some cash there. Didn’t have a chance to eat at the hotel restaurant but the woman serving at the Starbucks kiosk was delightful

The Westin did not disappoint. The staff were friendly and helpful. The check in was quick and the room was clean and comfortable. We will be staying there again the next time we’re in VA Beach.

Staff was super helpful and very welcoming! Hats off to them for providing nothing but excellent customer service. I will be staying at this property for future trips to Virginia-Beach.

Excellent property with one drawback: parking. It took an average of 20-30 mins to find a parking space every time I returned to the hotel which was annoying. There should be spaces reserved only for guests.

In desperate need of updating rooms & bathrooms. My room smelled very dingy & musty. Bedding was comfortable. Room & bathroom were clean enough. Carpet was gross. Way overpriced for quality. Staff was amazing.

This is a fabulous property located in a safe, walkable area with loads of food options and shopping and culture if you are so inclined.
The staff was phenomenal. They were eager to help, always ready with a smile, and friendly.
The rooms were very clean and the hotel was just a lovely place to return to after a full day in the area. Will be back again as we have lots of required visits to the area. Won’t hesitate to return. Top notch.

A very relaxing stay. The location of the hotel wasvery easy to get to. I got a little confused about the parking but i found it. The chrck in process The was quick. The room was phenomenal 😍. I love the fact that they provided lavender roll on for your wrist at night. The bed just had me melting away when i went to sleep. The food was great at the restaurant. If you didn't want to eat at the hotel there were restaurant walking distance from the hotel. The staff suggested a few items from the menu. I had chose the fish and chips. It was delicious. So if you looking for a place to unwind and relax i would definitely suggest to go here.
