On the whole a good hotel. Service was hit and miss. Sometimes it was really good and at other times less so

There’s not much choice in Apia and this is about as good as it gets. I had a nice large room in an older establishment that could use some updating. Breakfast was barely adequate with few choices. The staff was friendly and helpful. The alternative at the Sheraton was way too corporate and overpriced.

Staff were very friendly and always ready on hand to serve unfortunately, my only comment would be the food preparation, my last meal was barely touched as the mushroom sauce left a bitter taste which was a shame.

Always love staying at Tanoa from the front desk staff to all the bar staff and everyone are so professional and friendly. I was given the presidential suite which was amazing and will certainly love to have that room again😍 Everything is perfect. Thank you so much

Heat pump control didn’t work even after being “fixed “. Same for safe. Windows above office wouldn’t close….very noisy. Food quality well below average.
Samoan dancing was excellent. Fire dance best I have seen.

Friendly staff, room was clean and tidy, air con was a bonus. Bed was comfy, had everything we needed. Daily house keeping was amazing. Bar / Restraunt was great.

Excellent services from staff and very friendly. Room was clean and tidy. Beds comfortable. Only minor small thing on our second day, our room was cleaned, toiletries were topped up but not the coffee dispenser as there was no coffee when we checked in and our bed wasn't made. We didn't mind at all just thought it was strange that the bed wasn't made. But that didn't put us off all.

Great friendly place to stay for a relaxing holiday. Lovely friendly staff. The dining options are a little limited with a small menu at the bar restaurant only, as the main restaurant has not reopened after Covid. Breakfast was good, rooms are spacious and comfortable.
Walking distance to shops and other bars, and an easy, cheap cab ride to other restaurants.

The breakfast is not what it used to be however staff are still wonderful. Always clean. Biggest 2 problems are really bad mosquitoes problem and no wifi in the rooms. There is a 1 hour per day wifi but only works in the Bar.

Very welcoming staff. A great pool and restaurant area. Lovely covered walkways to keep you sheltered from the sun or the rain. A lovely welcome back to Samoa.

The place was very nice and the customer service was really good however, the options on food and entertainment probably needs to be reviewed and upgraded? Overall, we had a good stay.

I don’t want to sound too negative about the hotel because many of the staff were nice, the room is spacious, and the location is great. But unfortunately our room was so very noisy that we couldn’t sleep. Our room was facing the front entrance, and both the front and the bathroom windows don’t shut the noise from outside. On top of the traffic noise and people chatting, we had this adjoining door, and could hear our neighbours all the time. There are some maintenance issues in the room and the hotel grounds. Still it is a nice hotel, and we would have enjoyed our stay. But the noise at night really threw us off. It was very unfortunate.

need to look at the dinner menu same every night. nothing different,
rooms should be checked before customer goes into room. eg: safe working, remotes not working, sliding doors to patio not working very hard to open and close.

The staff were friendly love them. The food was horrible had dinner my first night the fish & chips was awful. The breakfast was even worst. The Fiafia Night was a waste of money wasn’t a full house by the time we got to the food the pig ran out. Food looked like leftovers from the day before. The room was nice but the beddings smelled even the towels. I checked out 2 days earlier couldn’t take. The staffs were friendly and very welcoming. The problem lays with the management team.

This hotel has lovely gardens, swimming pool and high quality rooms, but the food and restaurant service were terrible. Very limited menu (almost no meals without meat or fish) and our orders were mixed up. The poorly cooked food came out cold and the staff seemed indifferent to our concerns.

First time staying at Tanoa Hotel, travelled with a family group of 6 ( incl 3 children 6 and under) and shared 2 double rooms.
- Rooms were clean, spacious and well equiped. There is no kitchenette.
- Staff are friendly
- Rooms were well serviced daily with clean towels and extra if needed.
- Great little kids pool that our kids loved.
Larger adult pool
- Menu options are limited and breakfast buffet appears to change on alternate day cycles, it can get boring.

Tanoa Tusitala Hotel was great. Staff was genuine and very hospitable. Location was great, central to everything.
The only thing I would suggest is to address any issues immediately & hassle to get it rectified… our TV n fridge in the room was not tended to until 2nd to last night there (issue was raised 1st night there). Also… strip bed after each night to get new bedding n sheets when you return to your room.
Will definitely be back at Tanoa again.
