This property is right on the Red Sea. On arrival, I complained that the app did not work, the online form does not work, and no one replies to emails, phone calls or messages. Our first room was dirty, their where red drops all over the restroom. They cleaned it, and missed spots. We complained and they moved us. At the massage parlor, we had to wear underwear during the sauna, steam and massage. Between each of those, the counter clerk would ask, "How are you?". Well, I'm sweating and standing in my underwear and you are in my space. The Hamman was straight on the stone and uncomfortable. The massage lacked luster. They don't seem to understand customer service or comfort. The food at the resort was mediocre. Ice is like gold for them. The restaurant servers were awesome. There was someone making noise above us each night from 7pm to 3am and the staff would do nothing about it. If you like Mexican resorts, this place does not measure up. The app is so bad; it shows restaurants closed when they are open and the map is useless. I guarantee it doesn't get fixed because no one there seems to care about providing a quality experience. Even the shuttle was impossible to get.

My husband and i have stayed at this hotel around 6 times and always seemed to enjoy it,Unfortunately this visit with other members of my family and grandchildren was not so enjoyable.
We went for 10 days and each visit to either breakfast,lunch,or dinner was always a fight to get a table we also varied the times we went but it made no difference,never any proper fresh orange of a morning and when asked for some was given pineapple diluted i might add and told that was it but also my grandchildren had cola but it was served in red hot glasses.
The food was definitely not up to normal standard i know food is repetitive when you are away but on a whole i normally find something to eat but not this visit.
Also what i noticed was that fruit is normally a part of the all-inclusive but as alot of people like water melon many times it was with held to serve on the beach at an extra cost WRONG.
I personally felt that when this hotel is busy the staff cannot cope their manners were a joke we witnessed far too much this visit to ever want to return Unfortunately many times our beach towels was removed from our beds yet we only went to the bar,our air-conditioning didnt work for 4 nights when we complained they literally didnt believe us let alone even seem bothered,we was awake to 27.5 degrees in our room so i called a meeting with the front desk manager Mr Mohamed Ashour who said he would get his technicians to look (motor went) so we was right anyway will i be back no sorry Sunrise.

Had an enjoyable 8 day stay with our 19 year old daughter.
Service is impeccable.
Lots of food choices in the buffet for all meals & lots of included a la carte restaurants for evening meals. We had no problems getting reservations, even on the same day or more choices if you booked for the following evening.
For a 5 star hotel & with everything else being so fabulous the only let down were the drinks choices which were disappointing.
Drinks & Cocktails were very basic with not much choice. Even with only having local spirits, they could make some ice-cream cocktails.
We would return though as everything else was great.

If you land on your feet and get Ahmed serving your room then you are onto a winner he has real eye to detail. The pools are heated to 29 degrees which is lovely and the hotel is fully accessible on a motability scooter which is amazing for me - I love the new Pier which has ramps into the sea - this is our families second time here and it quit honestly just keeps getting better and better

Returned from a week's break and can say that this hotel exceeded our expectations. Rooms are modern and clean. There's a choice of pools as well as the very fun waterpark-be prepared to climb a lot of stairs up to the top!
There's seven Al la carte restaurants that you can use as part of an all inclusive deal deal. We ate at the Italian, Mexican and Asian ones and the service and food was brilliant. Top though, you need to book a reservation on the tablet in reception. We found that if you booked early in the morning, there were always reservations free for the following day.
All in all, an excellent break and an excellent resort!

The hotel location was great, the beach was very nice and no litter, kids had a blast on the pool and the staff were super friendly and catered the whole family.
The whole staff from reception to housekeeping were amazing even the maintenance team were professional.
When it comes to food they served all cuisine special thanks to chef Mohamed.
Animation team were highly active and lots of activities were ongoing.
Slides were well maintained and safe and life guards were always alert.
Definitely will be come back again.

Amazing experience, the whole staff are very friendly and professional.
Main restaurant was amazing big variety of food and different cuisine, special thanks to chef Mohamed.
Animation team were amazing, the kids had a blast as well as me.

I was going to give five stars but there were two things that altered the overall positive experience of our trip.
The first is that waitors aren't allowed to accept tips. All tips go into the tip jar. Sounds fair on first thought. But in reality it looked to me (and i could be wrong) as if the waitors were constantly being watched by the multiple managers in white and blue shirts. So to me it appeared as if the waitors were acting more out of fear of getting reprimanded rather than out of motivation to do a good job in order to get a tip. I mean Egyptians are used to working for tips. But that's clearly a management decision to appeal to Europeans who aren't used to constant tipping.
The second thing that i thought could be improved was the music. The animation team played the same songs over and over again that are played at resorts all across the world. Hearing "I will survive", "country roads, take me home", or "Barbie Girl" is not why i flew all the way to Egypt. Egypt is the music hub of the middle east and Egyptian music is far easier to dance to than European and American music. Other than having Egyptian staff at the resort it didnt feel like Egypt. It felt more like Mallorca.
The food was pretty good. The salad bar was abundant although the quality of the food wasn't too high. For the price we paid it was appropriate but definitely not 5 stars.
The animation team was extremely motivated and made this hotel special. All of them tried very hard to involve the guests

Worst experience ever by being physically attacked by a east European guest and hotel management discouraging you to call police as it happened on our last day. The lenghty investigation would delay our departure, they said.
Stay away from resorts with a former East Block clientele.

Very clean every where - the garden is so beautiful.
The room was so nice and our housekeeper - simply the best.

This was a last minute decision because we had to cancel a reservation in another hotel. I read the reviews and decided on this one because it was rated extremely high as a family friendly and we were not disappointed. We took the family suite a spacious two bedroom, two bathroom unit. The children room is very cute with small desk and nice decorations so my kids loved it.
The hotel has everything you want, amazing wide variety of food, several swimming pools and a decent sized aqua park. It has it's own beach and if you love snorkeling you can take a walk to a nice area with a bice coral. There is also a diving center. Close to shopping.
The best was the staff. They greet you with a big smile and try their best to accomodate. Special thanks to Fahd froom room service who was extremely accomodating and helpful, Hamada from the swimming pools, Kareem a young chief from kitchen. But most staffs were amazing and you can see that they enjoyed their work.
I definitely recommend it and I will go back in the future.

this is the second SUNRISE resort we visited and again it was great. Rooms and service is great. Clean, the pools are watched carefully which is handy with small kids. Food is pretty good at the buffet restaurant. Service can somewhat be less or missing certain finesse, but they do their best and that is appreciated.
If you are bothered by the sales men (excursions, spa etc) approaching you when at the pool, you can get a red flag at the towel center to let them know you want to be left alone. Overall a pretty good experience once again.

The hotel was nice until my kid and myself got afood poison throwing up and diariah all night and we told the reception manager he said not from us you maybe ate something outside we didn't we just had drinks on the way until we ate the snacks at the hotel I paid full board but my son and I only were able to eat cup of soup and just water because of the nausia we had during our stay. Then my wife went to get a massage and since we are in Egypt we taught everything in Egyptian pound they gave her receipt look to everyone reads it 2006 that mean 140 dollar then when she went to pay they charged her 3800lb and told her it was 200 euro the 6 they said euro sign whythey show her the price in euro and we are American in Egypt it was very deceiving and when I talked to the manager he was sarcastic he said your wife is adult and should know if she doesn't know she should ask , it's only 60.00 different which is not big deal but the way they handled it was like a scam

We were so disappointed and dissatisfied with our stay at this hotel, the place is over crowded, room wasn’t clean, linen was dirty and unchanged “see photo “ front reception staff was unwelcoming and unfriendly, reception itself was unpleasant with no AC functioning, dining room was a total mess, hot no AC also smells funky, staff unwelcoming as well, No order at all! Food was mediocre. Mamlouk was a bit cleaner and food was decent. Beach wasn’t too bad, the staff establishment wide wasn’t happy with their jobs and makes you feel unwelcomed . The room was so dirty, floors cabinets bathroom and even main hallway outside room, had to change keys everyday because they would just stop functioning.. so terrible… the thing that was most disgusting in the room was the bed linen which was so dirty and you can tell it’s not washed.. housekeeping guy would knock on the door every evening to basically say hi and wait for tips. So unprofessional, it’s not like you actually cleaned the room properly.During checkout they didn’t even bother asking how was the stay, which tells you a lot about how they run business. We ended up leaving and staying in another hotel which was a bit pricier but definitely enjoyed it “Steignberger Aldau” I would highly recommend this one. AND HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND SUNRISE TO ANYONE.Oo forget to mention the cafe outside on the beach, forget the name but it had like the nubi style, serves hookah and drinks and play Egyptian music.. that was nice and the owner w

We really enjoyed our stay at Sunrise Garden, my kids loved it so much, Aqua Park is very fun, beach is amazing, food is good and lots of varieties and options, All Stuff are working around the clock to make your accomodation as much as happy and comfortable. Difinetely will visit again

Nice Stay. Very Delicious Food, i think food was one of the best comparing all the hotels that i stay before. Room is very large, almost big as a apartment. Only, bathroom can be renovated and modernized with new fashion style. All was nice.

The overall experience was not bad. However it was way below my expectations. I have been in another Sunrise hotel in Sharm El Sheikh (Sunrise Montmare) and it was really an amazing experience there. The staff in Sharm El Sheikh were very hospitable, cheering and professional. That is what made me choose Sunrise this time in Hurghada but the staff in Hurghada were on the complete contrary, non professional at all, some of them were always gloomy, very non professional comments from many of them. When you see this altitude from a bunch of them, you know that they are not well trained and the quality standards are questionable. Some of them were trying to enforce us to move to a specific table every time we want to sit in the main restaurant, and this happened 3 times. The good thing is that I made a complaint and it was taken seriously. Special thanks to Remon ( the restaurant manager, Assem ( the Chef) and Doha (from the reception).This were trying to do anything to handle my concerns. However my comments on the non professionalism of the staff is directed to the management in order to give them more training and have some strict measures on the quality of service they deliver to the hotel clients.

My experience with this hotel from start to end has been amazing. All the staff are helpful and very accommodating, from the reception to the restaurants to the childrens club. The swimming pools, beach which is only a few minutes walk and the alacarte restaurants. I would recommend the hotel and we are already planning our next trip.
