We were traveling very late at night and went online to make a reservation through Expedia. We were traveling with our small dog so we had to have a pet friendly location. This hotel was about 20 minutes away and had opening so we did book a room. When we arrived the staff seemed confused when I told him I had just made a reservation. There was a note on the front desk that stated no vacancies. She looked my name up and realized I had made the reservation online and said they might have a room but she didn’t think it had been cleaned. This was shortly after midnight so I’m not sure when she thought they would clean it. After a bit she came back and told me that the room would be available shortly into standby. While waiting we noticed several people outside and inside that did not seem like they were renting a room. One of the people outside asked if it was our first time there. We both thought that was kind of strange. Apparently this is a long stay hotel that undesirable people stay at. We were exhausted so we waited a bit and when she came back asked me how many keys I would need. I went up to the room with her dog while my husband tried to find a place to park. The hallway, elevator and room all smelled like marijuana and urine. I made it to the room and didn’t know what to think. My husband came up and said get the dog we’re not staying here. We went downstairs handed back our keys and told them we were not staying. We will definitely not be back.

Poor maintenance

I arrived to sign up for my Ivy tech classes was new in town. Found this palce with okay weekly rates. Funds permitting. Im an older student. I check my hotels security due to my profesion of experience. Security of doors propped open, broken card readers, noise outside my first checked room, health code violation of dog feces left all over the property. This is relevent to incident. I was a single female traveling alone in a large city. Broken hotel security. No POSTED LEGIBLE SIGNAGE anywhere. I am a CCW carrier. No signage anywhere. If id have seen it id have left it locked up. BUT AFTER the dog crap Id stepped in the night before and the broken card readers. I felt safer open carry as Ive done for 6 years or how ever long ive carried a license. Regardless. I saw a gentleman let his dog crap. Without cleaning it up. I was irritated by this and was going to inform management to such. I got to the manager an started calmly telling her know of my displeasure with the dog poop. She instead went straight for my service piece I had in my holster. I(WAS) fixing to leave I wanted to tell her, retieve my hat and go to dinner. She roasted me you cant have that in here no weapons allowed. I protected the insult without proper signage agreed and left to my room to retrieve my hat on the top cabinet of room 301 at the end of the hall. I Was gone 1 hr. Came back got stalked by a tow truck. And a man wearing a black tshirt walking the parking lot 3 feet from my car. Ejected no refund.

Cheap price, cheap motel, sparse rooms, noisy, but cheap

We stayed there January 2024 It was a very bad experience. The room was outdated did not look like it had been cleaned properly I would not stay there again and was very disappointed

Needed a cheap night for a cross country drive and the other reviews and photos looked fine. The property does look ok on the outside, and it is convenient to highway 69 and the nearby hospital - also the staff at the front desk was very nice BUT there were stains on the sheets and towels, the floor was sticky, the hallways and various rooms were loud and REEKED of pot. Just know these things before you book. If you bring some cleaning supplies and your own sheets and towels, it's an economical way to go.

I arrived at 730om and there was a sign stating no one at the front desk until 8pm. I just worked a 12 hour shift. I left and will never go back.

It was exactly what I needed. A bed to sleep in.

Nice for the price. Full size fridge, two burner cook top, microwave. I'd stay again, there are a bunch of people that live there. Not a bad place.

It is like a home away from home. Everyone was friendly and pleasant and waited on my credit card for the limit to be increased so I could get a couple of more nights. I really enjoyed my experience. I am waiting for my next home to rent and this is an affordable place to stay.

The host when I checked in was very nice. The room could have been cleaner.

Stay was great! This is my third stay at this location.

To much pot smoke smell

Nice and clean rooms and showers and no complaints nothing special but good value for the price i would return if in ft wayne again

Tv remote no batteries. Put in new batteries. Wrong remote for this TV. Phone no dial tone. Room keys didn't work two times.

Nice staff, clean rooms.

Staff was friendly but I feel they could have done more to help each other out. Room wasn't ready til 4 and that is only with them giving me an alternative room. Stated only 1 housekeeper but I seen 4 different employees while at the desk. Room was clean enough. Location was horrible. Felt safe in the room but not so much when I was out in parking lot walking to my car . Overall I wouldn't stay again.

DO NOT BOOK HERE. DIRTY ROOMS. DIRTY PILLOWS. HOLES IN PILLOWS. NO PILLOW CASES ON PILLOWS. The hotel staff was notified of the room conditions and Expedia called them and they denied giving me a refund because they offered to look at the room. The hotel itself is the problem. Not worth paying $80-100 for a room that is disgusting.

We found wood spring online. We needed a place to stay that wouldn’t break the bank and driving from Texas to Fort Wayne Indiana we expected our room to be clean. Sticky carpet so bad you had to wear shoes. The rooms smelled so bad, drug addicts stay there and walk around at night. The water pressure was terrible and the toilet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Also the Beds looked all wrinkled when we arrived. Staff was beyond friendly and that’s about all this place has going for it. If they would do a renovation it would be so much better

I realize that this is a basic mainly long-term stay property, but a lamp on the nightstand or some kind of single light by the bed would have been nice.

Friendly working-class hotel in a remote spot, which was great for dog-walking and quiet. Although the hotel was older, it was clean. It had a kitchen, but no pots/pans, dishes or silverware so bring your own it you're going to use the kitchen. No coffee pot in the room, either.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff super friendly and accommodating.

The price we received was the best in town. The front desk girls were very friendly and helpful. The staff and longtime tenants were sketchy at best. The smell of marijuana was nauseating on 3 out of 4 the floors. The floor surfaces in all of the halls, elevator, and entrances we're filthy and never mopped. Dogs were constantly barking in some of the rooms. Guests parked in the handicapped parking spots daily making truly handicapped elders unable to access the ramp for wheelchairs. And our room had cockroaches. I know it is an extended stay hotel, but if kept cleaner, it would be more hospitable.

I did not stay at this place. There was a huge mistake in the reservation. I thought it was canceled but then I got a survey to rate my stay. I am very disappointed with Hotels.com.

You get what you pay for. That being said, my stay was better than expected. Staff were great! I will be back in the near future.
