Hotel Gott is very well located, so close to the main square in the town centre. It is pedestrianised, which made it quieter, and I felt very safe. When the windows are open you can hear people in the cafe below, but with the windows closed it was peaceful, and I slept really well.
The room was clean, and breakfast was varied. No lift, so you have to be able to carry your suitcase up the steps.

Very nice hotel with wonderful and welcoming staff. The room was beautiful but it had some shortcomings. When we first entered after check-in it was hot like a sauna in there and it took the AC until next morning before it started to feel comfortably cool. Because of this, we were offered another room after complaining, which was a fine gesture from the staff but eventually we decided to stay anyway because the alternative room was not as nice as the one we had booked.
The refridgerator in the minibar wasn’t working at all making drinks and other stuff inside warm and unconsumable.
However, the young lady in the reception was very helpful and carried in another fridge. Unfortunately, this fridge also had issues with staying cool so I guess the quality of these fridges has to be questioned.
Their breakfast had good variety and the restaurant where you would sit down to enjoy it had a relaxing mediterranean vibe to it.
Besides the rather minor inconveniences, we enjoyed our stay and will probably choose this hotel again if we’d ever return to Braşov.

Good middle-of-the-road hotel. Nothing special in terms of the accommodation itself, with some minor issues such as a leaking shower, but overall a good place to stay. Its big plus is that it is very well located just a few steps away from the main square in the old town. Rooms also have AC and the price does include a modest breakfast, which is convenient as well. The staff is very friendly and another plus is the 24/7 front desk.

No lift is a problem when they put you on the 3rd floor. A bit overpriced but when you consider the location, understandable. Very clean and very good breakfast.

Nice hotel down one of the smaller side street of main square in old town. Very clean place and nice staff. Smaller details like the toilet kept running and the A/C was too efficient had an annoying loud two second notice every other minute (also after it had been off for a while). So the place is a little old, I guess.

I would definitely stay again. Very convenient location in the city, very clean and tidy and a great breakfast. Only very slight room for improvements. The hotel was extremely warm and could have done with the heating turned down. Also, tge breakfast service on our 2nd day could have been better. We had to wait for some food to be replenished and tge waiting staff had to be asked to put more glasses / cutlery out. But all in all, a very good stay and I would stay again.

Our stay was ok. We had booked a room with AC, but were given a room without. The front desk solved the issue right away, and moved us to another room. Breakfast was nice, served on the hotel's restaurant. Location is awesome and even though they say they have free parking available, they don't, and it's hard to find parking close to the hotel, so be aware of that.

Great location just outside the sqaure. Nothing bad to say about this wonderful hotel. Only thing that could have been better was the pillows

Staff are friendly. Breakfast was good. Our rooms were on the top floor so that was a lot of stairs to climb (with luggage when we arrived). The top floor also creaks a lot. I wondered how noisy it was to the people in the rooms below. Rooms are small. Minibar refrigerator is very small and not cold. We saw no signs of air conditioning.

The room was small with sloping ceilings, it only had two small, up high windows, and the worst was that there was no air-conditioner in the room and it was hot during the day and warm at night. There was an air-conditioner in the hallway but that was always turned off. Had to sleep with the windows open which let in the noise of the 24X7 vent fan to the restaurant next door.

Great location in old town and room is comfy for an old building. Door to room does not have a secondary security lock (other than the card lock) so staff can walk into the room at any point with their master security card (happened twice while I was in the room).

Great location, but sometimes location is not enough. We had room 206 which opens the windows to a busy pedestrian st. At 2am people were still on party mood. We left the windows open because we had no a/c. It was loud. By 6am the street cleaning crew comes around and you cannot sleep anymore. Furniture and rugs need some updating. Brasov is an impressive place.

Very clean and cozy room, not large but enough to feel comfortable, nice toiletries, good quality sheets and towels.
Competent, polite and multilingual staff. Excellent breakfast, plenty of choices and great coffee. there are also many restaurants and cafes in the area.
We highly recommend Gott hotel to everyone and many thanks Gott team - excellent job!

The hotel was excellent. The only complaint was the squeaky floors. They were exceptionally squeaky on the 3rd floor. The awesome staff more than made up for it. They were super helpful and friendly. Location is excellent. Need to navigate the parking though since its not associated with the hotel. If you get lucky, you can park a few steps from the hotel entrance.

We loved staying at the Gott. beautiful spacious room, fabulous restaurant, very nice bar and a perfect location.It is one of the more expensive hotels in the area,Therefore taxi drivers that are not "approved" will try to rip you off. The surrounding streets do not allow cars, so it is very quiet. It is not a great distance to drag your bags when you arrive, but there is no elevator. The 50 stairs up to our room was worth the hike.large,modern and clean. The staff is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. It is an old hotel that is being improved every day. It now has modern air conditioning which was worth every step,and it has a spectacular modern bath with a rain head shower.
