Very friendly and welcoming host, good country hospitality. Room very spacious and clean with a real heritage feel. Well appointed kitchenette was fantastic after a long day of travel allowing us to go for a walk and have takeout in our room as most dining options had closed.

While the room itself was kept in decent condition, this is not even close to what any reasonable person would call a family suite. There was a living area which contained a single bed and a sofa bed, as well as a separate bedroom which was barely big enough for the bed it contained. There was minimal storage space in the cupboard, none of which was big enough to place bags and the bathroom was also tiny.When you take into account the other furniture in the room, you can imagine that with 2 kids we were constantly stepping over or tripping over things.

Perfect stopover or long term visit. Obliging staff with local recommendations. Safe Covid-19 procedures and clean, comfortable environment. Totally recommend.

The Australian Heritage was a welcome stay with comfortable rooms and pool (very relaxing following a 42C day) - best of all its walking distance to a variety of dining options and the staff were very knowlegeable on the Dubbo Zoo do and donts.

A/c & tv in both rooms. Lovely staff. Needed shade over pool.

Motel is in a good position, near shops & places to eat.

Whilst the room was clean on the surface, the curtains in the bathroom were filthy and coated in dust. The room smelled of cigarettes and an overpowering spray coverup that almost gassed us. I opened the window, which was filthy with grime to let fresh air in. The decor had not seen a stylist since 1980 and the bed was rock hard. The room was on the main road and a loose manhole was straight outside which, whenever a car drove past, sounded like a train on its tracks. Even with the windows closed it sounded like it was in the room. The only bright spark was the onsite restaurant, which looked like a scene from Faulty Towers, but the food was delicious. I don’t know how this motel got a four star rating!

Because I wanted an early start I got my continental breakfast the night before - good service

Love staying at the heritage motel. They are alway welcoming and have beautiful room. The meals are also very beautiful.

A piece of class is the decore of these rooms. Nice rooms with lovely decore. Had beautiful marinated pork chops from the restaurant.
