Parking lot was not plowed, no coffee in the room anymore. We stay here whenever we come to town. Disappointed

Channels on tv didn’t work said no subscription they never gave me the wifi password no one was there when I checked in they just left the door open with key inside When I tried to contact them no one answered and when I contacted hotels.com they told me the motel would look at it in morning and no one was at office or showed up by the time I left at 9:30am Not very impressed at all

For the price and what we needed it was a good spot. Place was clean and tidy, could use some updates and repairs on some things. But again, the price was right.

There was no hot water, no coffee pot to make any in the morning. beds nit comfy

We ended up not staying here. We were late arriving and we were told that the key would be on the door, which it was not. It took a good while to reach someone. Finally, a woman opened the door, but the room I had booked (with 2 beds) was unavailable. She said we could get a refund if we decided not to stay, which we didn’t. She said that I had to contact Expedia for the refund because I had booked and paid through them. When I reached someone at Expedia the next morning, I was told that they would reach out to the hotel. Needless to say, I never heard back from anyone and I never got my refund. Don’t stay here!!! The motel is run down and there was garbage everywhere!!!

No towel and toiletries.

Arrived at four pm and the office was closed. Taped to the door was three envelopes with guests names mine was one inside was key to room. When I went into the room beds were made and room looked ok. On further inspection there was only one towel no hand towels or face clothes, no toilet paper. My husband finally found a house keeper that was leaving and told her we needed toilet paper and towels which she got. Later that night we realized there was a coffee machine but no coffee cups, coffee, sugar etc. when I lifted the lid there was an old used coffee filter left inside. Obviously this room was not cleaned or finished properly. Think twice before you decide to stay here.

While I'll give them credit that the sink, toilet and tub/shower were clean (at least, seemingly so), the rest of the room was disgusting. The floors were filthy, no surfaces had been wiped down, the linens were stained (I hope) and needed to be bleached. The walls and doors need to be wiped down also. The only thing that kept us from leaving was that every single other hotel/motel in the area were sold out. We checked in around 9:30 pm to find our key in an envelope taped to the door and couldn't communicate with anyone at time of check out. The room looked not at all like in the pictures. It was an overall VERY disappointing and gross stay.

Great lady running the place. She was so busy but really nice. Older hotel but cleaner than chain motels i have stayed in. Will stay next time im in north bay.

Great staff always accommodating

I am not a complainer... I'm a suck it up kinda guy who doesnt like to rock the boat or inconvenience anyone. Emergency stay due to a road closure. Last $80 spent Booking it late at night, 11ish, knowing there was not cancelation available after booking. (Like anywhere I figure) I'm not sure which "Bay Motel" some others are staying at with anything other than a 1-star rating. Perhaps the bay motel in a parallel universe and the internet is a bit confused with which one to attribute those good ratings to. The last room available and it was smoking. So my expectations for this room on hotels.com has started far below par. Where to start... Upon arrival 11.15? No one available... just a key on the door with my name on it and a wifi password. The room? Stinks like smoke (expected) Chips, lint, strings, clothing tags on the floor in plain view. (And not a little... more like watch where you walk) Hair on the bed as well as crusty food stuffs (i hope) No towels or wash cloths Dirty ash tray Bathroom had streams of tar running down the wall. Filthy ceiling with smok tarpatches from condensation Hole in the wall stuffed with toilet paper Food in microwave Blood in fridge and unusable freezer No working windows Screen door has a 3-inch gap at the bottom... so i can take my chances with mosquitoes per chance I want the much-needed fresh air. No tv channels wifi didnt work. No refund from motel or hotels.com The pros... it had beds and a toilet... Blanket+car=better

Property was a MESS!!! Don't know if they were renovating or had just let it run down. Obvious signs of someone being in room since cleaned as there were keys left there and someone had been on bed. Bed was hard. There were no towels and when someone bought them to room, they were still damp. No cups, no garbage can, no microwave. The front office was a mess and the person on duty reeked of pot. I've stayed here before and it was ok but never again. Early evening checkin

Very quiet motel just outside of North Bay. Room was clean upon arrival. Only complaint, no cups or soap.

the room had no garbage cans. no coffee for the coffee pot, no shampoo or soap. The wifi did not work even after box was reset. Just not a great experience for the money.

There is a big difference between the photographer and what actually provides Order by web, did not got the room that i ordered, the clsim was that the pictures and descriptions was for the superior rooms The microwave did not work, the coffee machine did not have a capsules and caps, No shampoo st the bathrooms, contenders are empty , refrigerator did not function ..... Bottom line , there other superior alternatives at the same or lower price at the city

I don't even know where to start. We booked our room late as we are traveling across Canada, we tried calling multiple times, as well as tried messaging the motel, with no success. When we arrived the office was closed and they had left the key to our room outside. When we got to our room there were beer bottles an cans piled up outside of our door. When we entered the room, the floor was FILTHY with leaves and other debtor all over the carpet. The fridge had blood inside of it next to the box of baking soda, there was no soap, shampoo,or conditioner and the toilet was full and clogged so we couldn't even use it. The bathroom sink was gross, the garbage can was caked in filth and the towels they left for the jacuzzi were wet. We had to wear shoes on the floor as the carpet and floors were so gross it was unsanitary. We tried contacting the office again but to no avail. Upon checkout, the sign on the office door told us to ring and if nobody answers, call them. However they do not answer. Finally someone came to the door and opened the door a tiny crack and just stared at me. I stated I would like to check out,and handed the key to her. Before I could say another word, she snatched the key from me and slammed and locked the door. This was the worst, and most disgusting experience I've ever had with a hotel or motel. I took so many pictures just because it was so unbelievable. The bathroom sink didn't even work and the jacuzzi water was yellow. We spent $160 for this nightmare

lots of little things didn't work. The bedside light, the bathroom lights, the wifi. Windows did not open so no fresh air at night.

Excellent motel for the money

I can not comment on the venue as our reservation was cancelled while we were on the road to the booking. I had sent a message using Expedia app a couple of days prior to the date to inform the owners that our check-in time would be 8pm to 10 pm, but they never received. So when we didn't show up by 7pm they cancelled our reservation and gave the rooms to someone else because we had chosen the "pay at hotel" option. This was a miscommunication error between Expedia and the hotel, but unfortunately my family are the ones that paid the price.

The room was simple, dated, and reasonably clean. There were no directions for the complicated satellite TV system. The security code given for the WIFI did not work.

The suite jacuzzi bath is the reason we went there and we were not disappointed That tub alone is worth it all Staff were super nice and friendly and we forgot an item but they lent us theirs Super great staff

Dirty, dark room. No excess room to walk around. Wrong room at the beginning, had to change room next day at my convenience, with no help. The office area was dark, dirty with unfriendly personnel. I would not recommend anyone to stay there.

We had room 8, newly renovated. They didnt come make the bed, but we dont like that anyway. You could just switch towels at the front desk. There was no kichennette as stated in the ad, but that was not a problem for us.

Nothing was clean plus the non smoking room had obviously had people smoking on it. You can't cover that smell with a spray. Awful experience.

It was a very clean and comfortable room, but I think there was a miscommunication. I asked not to change the towels during my stay, to be more environmental. Instead theynever made the room or emptied the waste basket environmental. tr wmm

Every thing was very clean and will definitely return
