Hotel was clean, location is perfect. Right on Progresso malecon. Lots of great restaurants and bars. Convenience store next door.Hotel has a great view of the ocean, pick room 6. Be aware no elevator, only tiny blankets if you ask for them. AC was great. Shower was very slippery as well as all floors. I used an old T-shirt for shower mat. Water quality was good. Visit Crabsters restaurant. Worth a visit!

The staff is friendly and professional, and the property is relatively clean. Wifi was great and, you can flush the toilet paper (not always the case in Mexican hotels). However, there is no elevator, so you will get some exercise walking up the stairs. They do not provide washcloths or hair conditioner, but both can be purchased at the local supermarket. They still use keys with a keychain that states the name of the hotel and the room number; if someone finds the key... Keypads with constantly changing codes are a better alternative. The hotel is right on the Malecon (boardwalk), right on the beach, and close to the restaurants. I enjoyed my stay and recommend Hotel Playa Linda with the caveat that there is no elevator.

This hotel is small and “petite” it’s perfect for a short stay a 30 second walk to the beach. Can’t beat that location!

The Playa Linda Hotel has an excellent location on the beach in the center of the beach access road. The area is very safe with a constant police presence and very friendly locals. The staff are professional and pleasant but did not speak English. We were able to communicate via a phone translator. The room was very clean and newly remodeled. No mold or mildew. No bugs. It had cold air conditioning, a refrigerator and small microwave. Cable TV had 3 news channels in English, otherwise Spanish speaking channels. Granite table and counter top. No coffee pot or dishes. No hair dryer. The only downside to this hotel is that there is no elevator and the room had a couple of steps up to get into the bathroom which was a trip hazard. Definitely not handicap accessible.

The hotel is in the perfect place. It is clean and the staff is very nice. One thing was the shower. We hardly got any water from the shower head. We had to stoop down to wash our hair with a faucet.

Perfect location and awesome staff! So accommodating! We had top floor location and it was perfect for viewing the beach and promenade! The only slight, and i wouldn’t call it a problem, was you have to wait a bit for hot water from the shower… but everything else makes up for it!!!

Pros: We opted for the junior suite. The view is amazing from the balcony. Staff is very friendly and quick to respond to issues. Cons: no water pressure for showers. It’s on the busy corner so it can be really loud at night.

The hotel is clean and very comfy. We rented the junior suite wich has a small.kitchen. It did not have a coffee maker. But many choices for breakfast in the vecinity for breakfast. Also, no parking lot. Wich is a common theme with about all the hotels in progreso. We parked in the street and were there for 3 night. Car was perfectly safe, the town in incredibly safe. Truly enjoyed it.

Right on the Progreso beach walk. We picked a partial view and you can see the ocean ocean and the bbeachwalk from the room.

We love coming to progreso. But I didn’t like the fact that they charged me 3 days before i even arrived. Doesn’t say on the description of hotel. Says I won’t get charged til i arrive.

The place was nice and clean.. The aircondition was function very well. Also the Staff was friendly

Some quests were being loud and yelling in the early morning and some were parting at time and slaming doors and nothing was done about it .

although the location was conveniently located, and the staff were friendly and helpful the room was not nearly as nice as it looked in the picture it smelled like sewage, and it was extremely noisy in the evening
