You get what you pay for. Self check-in is definitely unique but nothing bad about it. Will stay again!

budget friendly property. Room was comfortable. Walkable distance to most attractions or bus stops. Next time I'd purchase the breakfast with the room.

TV is not working. No local channels and no way to connect to any Apps ( Netflix, You Tube, etc) Very disappointing. No option for late check out. Location is very far from downtown. Advertising says otherwise.

The sink was leaking, we check into a room with a un flushed toilet. There are no hangers to hang our coat or jacket. This is a very disappointing hotel.

This is a self check in hotel. I received an email asking when I was checking out before I even checked in. The codes to the front door did not work and had to call to reset it. Some rooms are updated, some are not. It is not clear when ordering the rooms what room you will be getting. My room has a couple steps inside of it which I have never seen before in a hotel. Breakfast is not included and is unclear. It does not say how much it costs, or if it is order or buffet. It asks you to type in the code and how many people are eating.

Self check in was confusing and we didnt realize it was unstaffed. The parking was also confusing. They sent a video via email but it was still confusing and we couldnt understand the signs nearby (even with google translate). The rooms were average size and clean. Only 3 channels on the tv at night, next morning there were none. They accommodated us with a baby crib which was great! Lots of nearby construction.

There was renovations taking place there would have been nice to know that before. Parking wasn't clear and there was no staff to talk to to ask just a buzzer to call at the door

The property is still in construction therefore dirty and noise. Our room doesn't have the necessary amenities: No cup for drinking, no phone for calling the service (inconvenient), the shower cabin lacks the door to prevent water spilling (an unsafe issue). The breakfast is okay but the owner doesn't provide the necessary code to enter the breakfast room. The restroom for joint use is an unbelievable faulty design. The temperature of the joint storage room for luggage is HOT. The only thing I like is the bed for sleeping.

Good place to stay a bit away from downtown. The only issue I had was there wasn’t any coffee machine or kettle to heat the water. Other than than place was clean.

The self check-in worked well. The restaurant next door is really nice. The shower is quite nice but a bit odd, water gets on the toilet if one is not careful.

It was just what I needed for a short, one night stay. It is a basic room with a nice size TV close to restaurants and walks along the water. Self check in was nice and smooth. There isn’t a closet or fridge so it wouldn’t be a long term rental but, for one night it was great.

No staff. Building still under construction. Appears to be converted office building. No typical hotel ammenities - no in room coffee, no soaps. Not coming back.

It is a nice place clean and organized. The check in is easy, although there is no reception. But because of the lack of staff I couldn’t get further service. Anyway it worth it a lot comparing the many hotels in Reykjavík

There is no live person in the hotel. The access code does not match the room number. The shower area is smaller than the cruise shower. No breakfast provided, would rather pay more for other hotel.

Too many issues with accessing the hotel entrance and lots of construction work happening during our stay.

It’s clean and the location is great. It is pretty small and there is not any staff on site. Check in and out is completely remote. There is free parking but it can be a far walk.

No microwave fridge coffee maker or electric pot No ironing board or iron So it will be a very cold stay Hilton is not too much more pricey but with better accommodations

access code for access to hotel and the self storage for luggage did not work. there were also a few groups having the same problem when we arrived. contacting 24 help line wasn't much help. some other people who were staying there helped us with storage in the morning before we were allowed to self check in at 3pm. after 3pm, one of the codes worked (we had 2 reservations). but if the codes only work after 3pm, then hotel can't tell guest they can store their luggage before checking in. otherwise, hotel was in good shape,

Their system with the access code is terrible & very frustrating. They emailed me the instructions but the code didn’t work. I arrived early and just wanted to store my luggage in their luggage storage area but can’t in because it’s before 3pm. But they said I could. Until someone was leaving, the door opened & I was able to get in. Then I checked out early but still had to store my luggage in the luggage storage. They said they’ll extend the code. When I got back to pick up my luggage, the code didn’t work and called & still didn’t work until someone came out and activated the door open. A very inconvenient system with the access code

Good communication / preparation, so had no check-in issues. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It’s close enough to downtown to walk. Parking, however, was difficult, unless you pay, TV didn’t work. Bathroom shower is older and it is a basic hotel; but, overall it was a good experience and I would definitely stay here again.

Weird to have no one to talk to. No shampoo, no bath soap, no lotion. TV did not work unplugged from back with no one to tell nice room would not stay there again

Old needs to be replaced or serious remodel

nothing was working like they say when i order the room tv not working no parking space like they promised everything was dirty there and so much noise from working inside hotel and the air was very bad.this hotel gets 0 stars from me and my wife

Easy quick check in system, communication was good regarding this but didn’t give any instructions about breakfast by email. Information was available on a sign in the hallway on arrival though. Also didn’t tell us about coffee machine in hallway which my daughter spotted, it was really good and used frequently as no kettle in the room. Breakfast was plenty and a good choice, in a lovely restaurant. Rooms are clean and a good size, with plenty storage. There are renovations going on, we didn’t hear them on the first day as we were out all day, but heard a bit second day as we came and went but didn’t see any workmen. Did not disturb as started after 9am and didn’t go on late so didn’t bother us at all. The area is good for bus transport, and drop off busses can access the road right outside unlike some other hotels. There is a local supermarket, some nice restaurants and it’s away from the busy main shopping street which we liked. I would happily use this hotel again.

Absolutely horrible hotel with no reception, it took an hour to get in to the room, no one to ask. No service whatsoever just a phone number. Torn down and old hotel, location not so good. The reviews must be a fraud.

This is not an hotel but a worksite. there is no staff, just construction workers using power tools all around

Do yourself a favor and do not book this property. There are much better hotels in the area to choose from. This hotel markets itself falsely for the amenities it provides and the area it is in. It is run down, unstaffed, and the “limited parking” equates to 2 spots in front of the hotel. Otherwise you’re fending for yourself in hopefully finding street parking in the surrounding area - where every spot or parking lot is private. There is also a lot of construction around the hotel at the moment which compounds the parking issue and creates loud noise from the early hours of the morning. They’ve marketed themselves falsely - so be warned now and do not book this hotel. It is located about a 10 min drive from Rainbow Road to give an example of location. I’ve stayed in hostels that were better experiences.

Good hotel in a quiet area and very walkable to places nearby and also to downtown. There is Parking along the hotel and also on the opposite street. Cafes and restaurants nearby including one in the hotel and also a Bonus supermarket at walking distance. The rooms were a good size and the breakfast was plentiful and good. Having code access was very convenient. Definitely recommend.
