Nice average hotel.

The hotel is located very close to the railway, which runs 24/7. It was very noisy and we had to close windows

This is a lovely place to stay in this quaint town. The hotel is a bit of a maze and their underground parking is extremely tight. The breakfast was excellent and service professional and friendly. No problem with speaking English.

Dishonest that I was assigned a smaller room than I booked and paid for, only because I was a solo traveler. They did correct this later.

As I had requested, the room had a bathtub, but the bathtub did not have a stopper and the shower was broken and unusable.
At least one of them would have worked, but there was no point in having a bathtub, and the room was also dirty.
I was stunned by the vast difference from the double room I stayed in until yesterday.

I always stop over here on my way to or back from my place in Italy. Always great accommodation and friendly staff and a great breakfast included.

Lovely reception staff, the breakfast lady was amazing! There was a bit of mold on the bathroom ceiling and n the grout, but the rooms were otherwise clean. Good beds, if a bit on the hard side. Dekor a bit outdated but harmonious. Great breakfast.

We have stayed here before and always enjoyed it. However this time on the 4 and 5 December there was no night service after 10.pm. Fine except no one explained that the shutters would be down and the only access was a side door which we knew nothing about. So we were locked out in the rain until a local explained how to get into the hotel Although there were signs saying that there was no night service no one told us how to gain access which was not the greatest help. Maybe a sign explaining the access when no night service is available would be good.

We liked the central location of the hotel. Everything was nice and beds were comfortable. There's no air conditioning so if it's hotter or summer, the room will be a bit warm. When opening the window you can hear the trains passing.

Nice location right next to old streets and buildings in Rüdesheim. Breakfast is served in a room with view over the river Rhein.
The hotel has no aircon so the rooms were very warm - almost to warm to sleep in. We slept with the windows opens which meant we were kept awake by the heavy trains passing through Rüdesheim during the night - just across the street of the hotel.
When taking a shower, the water was so hot and impossible to get cold unless we let the water to the bathtub run at the same time at max temp.

Great location, two blocks from train station, Rhine day excursion and delightful town square. Staff recommended room in back because though the front has the view, it also has the noise. Breakfast was like a five star hotel.

The weather was extremely hot and we were very disappointed to find out that some of the facilities were unavailable. For such hot weather it would have been perfect if we could have used the pool

Mattresses we're terrible. Sank so much when you sat on them. But the hotel is a great location and rooms are large to fit kids pack n plays, etc.

Looking for a hotel with lift as my wife is a bad walker. We found Traube, but it was a bigger surprise that we had to climb 7 steps before we came to ground floor. Then on floor up with the lift, and then 11 steps down to our room. My wife get to the room after long time struggle with the stairs, so we had to have take away dinner at the room. This day was totally wasted for her. The hotel sjouke do point out that some of the rooms are not suitable for bad walkers. I pointed this out for the reseption, but got no understanding.

In keeping with the charm of Rüdesheim, Hoteltraube is quaint and comfortable. The staff is cordial, helpful, and accommodating.

Fine room and service but if you are facing river it was extremely noisy. The bar next door was the loudest in town and very very loud music and heavy drinkers open till 2 am. Then many remained outside until 4 am yelling. Add the fact that the trains come by often all night was not a good sleep. Good breakfast was a plus.

There was nobody in reception when we arrived. We had to go to next hotel reception as was mentioned in the desk. There we waited 30min to get someone to give the keys. Nobody was answering to thw phone. Breakfeast was poor and we did not have river view. River view was special mention from hotel webside.

Room was so small you could not open the door all the way, it hit the bed. To get to breakfast you needed to go up and down multiple stairways to find your way.
We ended up going outside and back in to the other side of hotel to get to it
