The staff was wonderful. The rooms were large enough however the bathroom shower door was an issue with water dripping out of it and there was mold in the shower. But the front desk staff responded right away and made a note to fix it. Quiet neighborhood which was a welcome respite from the loud Baixa area

I will definitely stay here next time I am in Lisbon! It was clean, the staff were very kind, and the free breakfast was delicious! :)

Great place for the value. Staff is great, attentive, helpful and happy to accommodate. Breakfast is included and that is a great added value. Stayed for 5 nights and would totally recommend.

Very nice hotel small but excellent

Moldy, rusty bathroom. I received a room that had a bathroom with mold, broken tiles and rust. It was a wheelchair access bathroom even though I don’t use a wheelchair. (Can’t imagine any hotel subjecting someone with disability to this) The room was sub standard at best. I wouldn’t stay there for free. Left the hotel after the first night and moved to another hotel.

The staff was great throughout my stay and housekeeping did a fantastic job with my room. My issue was that breakfast that doesn't serve any jam for toasted bread for example (I am vegan so what I could eat was fruit) - we are in 2024 and Portugal overall seems to be behind in this aspect. The conditions of the shower seem dated and water would splash from places where it shouldn't... The walls in the room also would require some attention. But overall it was a good stay.

I’m not sure if I was just unlucky with this hotel given all the great reviews, but I was really disappointed. My room was near a very busy street so was noisy and there was a ventilation system in the room which added to the noise and ran until 9.30pm every night, which apparently couldn’t be switched off. The room and furnishings weren’t in great condition and the sheets on my bed were dirty. When I asked for them to be changed I was brought sheets and had to change the bed myself as apparently there was no one available to do it. Not a great area, I wouldn’t stay here again.

We loved the morning breakfast and the location was in the old part of city, walking distance to many restaurants, parks and shopping.

I stayed here with my daughter. The bathroom is odd as it’s in the room divided by a glass wall with little privacy. The room size is small. The shower was defective. Other than that it’s a clean place to stay. The customer service is very good.

Our decor in our room looked a bit tired, stool & bed were well scuffed & tatty. The curtains were hanging down on one edge so couldn’t thoroughly close.

The best experience with a hotel staff we've had in a long time! We were at the airport early in the morning a day earlier than we expected to be. I emailed the hotel with some questions and actually heard back in a timely manner. We showed up, still fairly early in the morning. They stored our luggage for us while we wandered around, waiting for normal check-in time, giving us suggestions for food and nearby things to see. They sent us an email when our room was ready, which was so convenient. The room was compact but efficient. Most importantly, though, for a jetlagged couple, the bed was comfortable, and the blackout curtains a nice touch for making up a little extra lost sleep. The included breakfast had good options and variety. Oh, and the location is great, too! (Can you tell what was most important to us when the location is an afterthought? 😄)

The staff was excellent. The room was very nice and comfortable. The breakfast and dining area were good. Very easy to walk to nearby attractions.

Lovely hotel close to the action in Principe Real, right off the metro, but quiet. Cute, comfy room, but definitely smaller than expected (it’s Euro sized). We were given the wrong room key which didn’t work the second time after we were exhausted walking around all evening and just wanted to get to bed. It took surprisingly long to get sorted out, but the front desk person was very nice and helpful.

I liked the location, sanitation, service at front desk. Did not like room facing street because of traffice, but it slows down after 12 am

The shower was blocked and when we complained again and again nothing got done about it. The safe didn't work either and again nothing gone sorted and gave up moaning at the front desk about it!

Affordable and clean

The area around the hotel was safe and convenient. Many restaurants and grocery stores nearby. In the morning and late evenings it was quite loud on the Main Street Sao Bento due to the constant cars driving fast and early construction noises nearby.

A fine hotel, nicely situated, great personel, fine room, good bed(!) and a fine breakfast. Expedia deal works really wel, everything was arranged properly!

Fine for a night or two, water is warm and strong, aircon is working, tv is also good. Two paper cups and a glass in the room. Though coffee machine and the fridge are a bit scary. No water boiler, furniture’s skins are peeling off. Check-in is fast with pre-checkin. Walkable to the city.

Was excellent Only wrong issue. I will contact my credit card on my way back I call Expedia no acción was made Expedia charge the first nigth and we have to paid full payment hotel never revive even Expedia details and my credit card was charge 120’euros on Dic 1 2023

Very nice place

Comfortable room.Close to transportation ,restaurants,stores.Very friendly and helpful staff.Rudy and Shawn(?)at front desk. Couple snaffu.We got to hotel past 11 am and Rudy said room was ready so we were overjoyed only to find out when we got there ,they were doing deep cleaning,so had to go back down and left our luggage with them so we can at least start exploring the area.The other thing,we ordered for a cab to the airport the day before ,however when it was time to leave ,we were told its not on the computer,he called cab and driver was there in few minutes so it was close to our target time to be at the airport,since we're catching an international flight. Also asked about bfast doggie bag since we have to leave the premises early ,Rudy said he will tell his colleague to set up bfast early.Unfortunately everything was set up except there were no bread or rolls which is probably the only thing we can take with us.Other then those events pleasant stay.

Great staff in the hotel! Very well organized and very clean room. Location great !
