Hotel generally had many front desk staff.But room water was not warm remain tepid til we ask for service.Wasted so much time to call in the technician.Hotel breakfast standard has dropped.Lack of serving staff in restaurant.

Everything is good except the flushing system for the toilet bowl doesn’t work properly. Cannot flush thoroughly as the flushing is not strong enough.

Enjoyed the stay at Amari. Wawa upgraded us to the Deluxe King with a nice city view. All the staff were very friendly and always greeted us with a smile. Breakfast spread was just okay. Love the walking distance to CIQ too, very convenient.

Booked the twin superior room and paid to upgrade to the deluxe king room. The room was spacious but the toilet requires some work. The tap at the sink and bathroom, the water pressure was very weak and the temperature control was iffy. Water was either extremely hot or extremely cold, there was no in between. This was a issue for me during my stay in Amari

Location is great, near to bustling activities and food, and would like to specially compliment all the hotel staff who are so friendly and always smiling, so much better than even worldwide franchise 5-star hotels at times. Breakfast is great with a good variety and changes through the 3 days stay. But hope that the management will look into upgrading the room conditions and amenities, aircon is not cold at times, bathroom needs a refreshing, clothes hangers are coming apart a little.. but overall really a great stay

Overall i would say it was an excellent stay. The service and staff was great. Breakfast great too. Just a minor thing though. The room odour like it is an old room. It was a great clean and great facility except it has this old musty smell. Overall it is still a great stay.

We have always stayed at AMARI when we go over to JB. It's our favourite hotel in JB because of the excellent service and hotel comfort however this time there was something wrong with our toilet. A slight lingering smell from the pipes whenever we return back to our room. Hope they can do something about it.

Great, clean and spacious. But the pillows provided are too soft for our liking. Nevertheless there is a option to choose the pillows of your choice, got a swap and the pillows were great. They were delivered very quickly too.
Asked for ice and they also delivered the same very quickly in ice buckets.
One thing for improvement is probably the sound proofing, could hear neighbours from next door and outside.

Excellent location, opposite of City Square and Komtar, above Haidilao and with many cafes around. Hotel lacks maintenance and has signs of wear and tear.

Would recommend it. Only stayed for 1 night. Very convenient to transportation and shopping, and also for crossing between Johor Bahru and Singapore. Note, hotel is bit pricey.

Hotel is walking distance from Johore Immigration Dept. Near to shopping malls. Restaurants and eateries located inside malls. The hotel is clean and staff is courteous and friendly. Room size is good and cool.
