Good: Very friendly staff, clean, walking distance to bahnhof and shops etc. Breakfast not too expensive, healthy and sustainable. Room for improvement: small rooms with no fridge. Unable to connect tv with streaming service.

Staff are brilliant. Could not fault them! Great atmosphere in the bar, great location. Facilities are basic but ok. Had a great nights sleep despite our room being right next to the lifts. Only thing I would change is that the hand soap and shower gel in our room were half full which gave the impression that someone else had used them.

Had a terrible nights sleep. Awoken very early by delivery men. I didn't realise but our room on the 1st floor was over a the street that services the shops. Deliveries, bin collections. Breakfast was a free-for-all. The hotel put up a sign advising tof the busiest times, but I wasn't expecting the chaos of breakfast time.

This Hotel was ideally placed for us, very central. Motel One is always one of my first choices when visiting a city and this one is probably the best. The decor is amazing and we spent time relaxing in the lounge, with drinks from the bar. Our room was quiet, spotless and very comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. Would definitely book this Hotel when visiting Cologne again.

Hotel is excellently situated, Rooms lovely, fire effect on tv was romantic. Shower/Bathroom excellent, only really moan is price of drinks, very expensive in the bar. Loved our stay there for visiting Christmas Markets.

Very central. Close to underground train station. Within walking distance of shopping centres and restaurants. Close to 3 Christmas market . Modern hotel. Nice ambiance at night . Nice place to meet friends for a drink or snacks. Good music. Reasonable price.

Well located with a fantastic very large bar. Although the rooms aren’t overly spacious, they are well kitted out with a great shower and bed. A good place to stay if you are visiting the Christmas Markets as it’s only a short walk away from the market at Neumarkt which I thought was one of the best ones. Definitely consider this property if staying in Cologne.

Great location, with the shoppingstreet just around the corner, and the Angel christmasmarket as well. Walkingdistance to most attractions, all the christmasmarkets included. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The housekeepers politely wished us a good morning as we walked by. Safe luggage storage, you get a ticket for your luggage, so it's just the staff that have access. The rooms are small, but functional. Nice and clean. If you are weary of noise, the traffic may bother you if you sleep with the window open. The bed is ok, but the pillows are extremely hard, very uncomfortable! So bad that I lost a lot of sleep, and ended up with a stiff neck and headache every morning! Only german tv channels, but it's possible to connect to your phone/laptop and stream netflix etc. Breakfast is OK, but pricey. Not serving any warm dished as scrambled eggs, bacon, beans etc. The milk was warm though :/ We went to a bakery around the corner for the rest of our stay.

I stay in a lot of Motel Ones and this one is particularly good. The leather chairs in the rooms are a nice addition. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel staff is very nice and the atmosphere is lovely, will definitely stay there again!
