Great location and view of Stockholm waterways on your way into the old city. Close to grocery stores, restaurants, parks. Great breakfast. There is a gym they've partnered with close by so you have access to a weight-room, cardio machines and a wet sauna. Quiet, clean rooms and courtyard. You'll appreciate their air-conditioned rooms in the summer. They have their own restaurant and bar/cafe. Cheerful staff!

This is my second time staying in this property. The staff has been super nice and friendly every time. Everything all together makes me feel a family environment.

Wonderful and friendly staff and service! Excellent location next to Slussen station - very convenient and accessible. Space was a little tight but very good condition. Enjoyed our stay very much.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and in Stockholm. The service was friendly and of a very high standard, the decor was really lovely, and the breakfast/bar were superb. The breakfast in particular was some of the best I’ve ever had in a hotel. The rooms are a little on the small side but it’s an old building and they’ve been very thoughtfully designed to counter this.

It’s a nice concept but the room was narrow and I had a problem with the room307 I couldn’t sleep because of a smell of the smoke like chimney smoke coming in the room

Friendly staff, nice decor and amenities. Close to various public transportation options but also within walking distance of many good restaurants, cafes, historical spots, etc. Breakfast was great, with a nice mix of local fare and more "generic" options. The room was a bit cramped, but they make good use of the limited space they have.

Great hotel for a staycation. Had a delious dinner and the breakfast was really good. Very small rooms, but nicely decorated. The location is perfect for a tourist visting Stockholm.

Beautiful unique property just a few steps from the subway station. Cozy bar and restaurant for breakfast. There are no elevators so all luggage must be carried to rooms on upper floors. Lovely intimate patio with seating in front and in courtyard (but unusable in winter due to snow). Comfortable beds, nice linens and good sized baths. Very friendly staff.

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Room was on the smaller side but very cosy and well put together. The bed was incredibly comfy too. Very close to the metro which is incredibly frequent and easy to navigate.

Always a delight staying here. The staff is fantastic, amazingly cheerful, helpful and accommodating. Not to mention the style and ambience of the rooms and common areas. Can't recommend enough. Love this place.

Amazing stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the hotel was very clean and safe. We booked a family room with a king bed and bunks beds. This was the perfect size room for our family of four. The breakfast was delicious and served until 11am which was a plus since we were jet lagged coming from the US. It is walking distance to many of the key sights and very close to the Slussen metro stop (30 seconds walk). We took a cab from the airport ( ~$75 USD) since I was nervous about trying navigate our way to the hotel. (However, taking the train from the airport to Stockholm Central and then changing to the metro and exiting Slussen would have been quite easy.) We would definitely stay there again.

As would be expected with an almost 400 yr old property spaces are tight and a little challenging.The staff is very accommodating and ready to help with any and all.

We loved our stay at Hotel Frantz. The staff were amazing and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. It had a very personable feel and we would definitely go back.

Stylish hotel in old building with wonderful buffet breakfast, but beware the small rooms and lack of elevator. If you don't mind those features, you'll enjoy Hotel Frantz. If not, perhaps search for another option. Very close to metro stop and walkable to central parts of Stockholm.

Amazing boutique hotel in the heart of Stockholm. The room was adorable & the bed was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was perfect! We would stay here again on our next visit.

My husband and I have stayed in the Hotel frantz three times when it was the Hotel Anno 1847. It has changed. The room was so small with a too large bathroom squeezed in. The bed was squeezed into the remaining space with 30 to 50 cm left on all sides. No place to put luggage as the excess decorative pillows took up a tiny space left under the bed for storage which the majority of under bed space had a huge safe. There was no place to sit as the bed was so high it came up to my waist and was difficult to get in. It was excessively soft with a very thick unnecessary topper on the bed. It was very cluttered and very uncomfortable. The only storage left was in the hallway. I preferred the more spacious room without the bathroom with a shower down the hall. Also the windows do not open so no fresh air. The breakfast was extensive and good. But I didn’t see any traditional Swedish items like herring or Müsli but instead mediocre bread, and many unusual, but good items. Also an extensive table with desserts, which I do not need for breakfast. I was disappointed as what the Anno 1847 has turned into. I don’t think we will return

Very nice hotel- tiny rooms, but nicely done and clean with great breakfast in a fantastic location for shops and restaurants and close to Gamla Stan.
