Please refer to feedback from 3 or 4 months ago - nothing changed really. Hotel ran out of rose wine on night 1 - still not restock 2 days later. Hotel food cancelled on a Sunday night - no staff. Car parking expensive and STILL being incorrectly advertised on Hotel.com web site. Previous comments seem to have been ignored. I struggle to justify why we should use this hotel again.

Good location. Room was clean and a good size. Breakfast included, and reasonable choice.

the most uncomfortable bed I have slept in. The mattress was very hard. Also position of the bed was fixed and close to a wall/column which meant you had to slide across the bed to get out. Yet the room is big enough to have the bed to be positioned further away from the wall.

Due to illness I could not travel and despite calling the hotel to ask for credit for another stay then told me to f off. So I’ve lost my money and I won’t be using the Hilton again

A nice clean hotel, with a well appointed room. The on site car park was very welcome, although expensive. The location is a stones throw from the city centre and the restaurants, shops and entertainments.

The hotel was average, mid-standard. Everything was as to be expected, nothing special at all. Breakfast was bad, for the standard of hotel and the price.

Property is very central to the city center. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended

Check in staff very abrupt and not friendly. Had to wait about 30 minutes for breakfast things to come out even though it’s a buffet and the hash browns never came at all.

Good location - safe, not far from downtown, very close to the large shopping mall John Lewis, theatre, and restaurants. I would stay here again!

Felt like a prison cell. Dark, cramped, and stuffy. Couldn't open the window. Staff was kind though.

Was a really good stay apart from the early morning emergency alarm going off. Room was clean and tidy, needs a bottle opener in the room but other than that it was excellent thank you.

The A/C was not working room was sooo hot ! Staff was excellent - Azeem who checked us in was tried to phone local restaurant to find our details for us was really helpful.

Really friendly staff on reception and in dining area! Bed a bit hard.

Reception staff were really unhelpful at check in, there was already another guest complaining about checking in to a dirty room, my shower in 310 was completely blocked. Breakfast was a battle to get hot food, there was not any available and then only a small amount was brought out and guests had to battle to get some. Won't be staying again.

Great hotel parking is very expensive

This hotel isn't downtown but it was maybe a 15 min walk to downtown. The decor was cool, breakfast was great and everything was clean and comfortable - can't ask for much more than that!

Had an amazing stay again in this hotel. We always book in Hampton by Hilton Hotel as we already know what to expect! Cleanliness, Service, Amenities, and free breakfast were great! Hampton by Hilton Leeds location is great! 5mins to bus station and 10mins to railway station.

Staff were very good - checkin, cleaning rooms, dealing with problems. Problems: 1. At checkin charged £20 per day for parking. Advertised rate on Hotels.Com is £15 per night. Staff very apologetic but unable to change. Indicated that they have repeatedly requested change of cost to be displayed on web site - but that change is also outwith their control. 2. One of the lifts (there are 2 and it is a 12 story hotel) broke down day 1 of a 3 day stay. Still out of service when we checked out! 3. My wife likes a glass of rose wine - available day 1 but run out day 2 and not restocked by day 3. The choice of white wines started to be impacted and by the 3rd night the selection was down to 1. Again - staff were great, fielding the problems - but lift failures lasting 2 days, the bar running out of wine for over 2 days etc etc

There were opportunities to train staff and improve front desk professionalism.
