Good location, filling breakfast, big bedroom and bathroom. All the staff were pleasant.

Check in staff very abrupt and not friendly. Had to wait about 30 minutes for breakfast things to come out even though it’s a buffet and the hash browns never came at all.

Felt like a prison cell. Dark, cramped, and stuffy. Couldn't open the window. Staff was kind though.

Really friendly staff on reception and in dining area! Bed a bit hard.

Reception staff were really unhelpful at check in, there was already another guest complaining about checking in to a dirty room, my shower in 310 was completely blocked. Breakfast was a battle to get hot food, there was not any available and then only a small amount was brought out and guests had to battle to get some. Won't be staying again.

Great hotel parking is very expensive

Had an amazing stay again in this hotel. We always book in Hampton by Hilton Hotel as we already know what to expect! Cleanliness, Service, Amenities, and free breakfast were great! Hampton by Hilton Leeds location is great! 5mins to bus station and 10mins to railway station.

Staff were very good - checkin, cleaning rooms, dealing with problems. Problems: 1. At checkin charged £20 per day for parking. Advertised rate on Hotels.Com is £15 per night. Staff very apologetic but unable to change. Indicated that they have repeatedly requested change of cost to be displayed on web site - but that change is also outwith their control. 2. One of the lifts (there are 2 and it is a 12 story hotel) broke down day 1 of a 3 day stay. Still out of service when we checked out! 3. My wife likes a glass of rose wine - available day 1 but run out day 2 and not restocked by day 3. The choice of white wines started to be impacted and by the 3rd night the selection was down to 1. Again - staff were great, fielding the problems - but lift failures lasting 2 days, the bar running out of wine for over 2 days etc etc

It’s a modern property. It seems that the staff maybe new and untrained. The elevator was intermittently out of service and but for the flashing notice no forms of apology from staff written otherwise. The weekend staff were not friendly or accommodating. Uber drivers coming to collect my group were rude Mable to exit and he property in a timely manner. Did not feel completely safe in the vicinity of the hotel property.

This was convenient for the town centre, a 10 minute walk away. the buffet hot breakfast was nice as well.

Great service and comforting stay

We had a good deal at this hotel, one night stay with breakfast for 2 people was £80. The hotel itself was modern and very clean, the room was comfortable with a decent size bathroom and big shower for a hotel. Breakfast was good too. The staff were friendly and helpful. There were a few things that let it down though, firstly they charged me £20 to park there for the night!! Very cheeky, so really it was £100 for the night and I might have got a better deal. The toilet dripped constantly which was quite irritating. Lastly I ordered an £8 panini which was tiny and tasted horrible. Also there's not much around the hotel either. Adequate for one night but I'm not in a rush to return.

Only one choice of eggs for breakfast. Discussed with manager at main desk to see if it was possible to have a poached egg the answer was no as,the kitchen does not have the facilities to cook poached eggs and The Hampton is Budget hotel & if we would like more choice we need to stay in a Hotel with a higher star rating. Very strange response.

Decent overall, but don't order or rely on booking the official taxi service via the hotel. An alleged five minute wait turned into 40 minutes plus, in the end I ordered an Uber which arrived in 7 minutes.

As my husband has mobility issues, we chose the hotel because it served food. It wasn't until we arrived that we noticed a sign on the bar saying there were technical issues and therefore the kitchen was closed for the evening. We weren't made aware of this by staff on check-in. When we asked reception about this, they said that they had no maintenance staff on to fix the problem, but the kitchen would definitely be available for breakfast the next day. I asked for a discount, but was told no. The staffs did say that there was a chinese restaurant next door. We were also surprised that as a disables driver and blue badge holder, we had to pay the full car parking amount. On checking out, when I mentioned the kitchen closure to them, they say it was probably due to staff shortages.

Pillows had an odd smell to them. Nice size room filled with boring furnishings. Bed was loud. Great staff. No Chromecast in the room but the Peloton in the gym in a highlight

Location and views

Room was spotlessly clean, shower was lovely. Breakfast very good. Very pleased eh chose this hotel.

Very good and breakfast was great too. Only down side having to at for parking.

The accessible room was one of the most spacious we have ever stayed in, gave plenty of room for manouver. The beds were firm - how we prefer it. The only negative we had was that at breakfast most of the cooked items were unavailble because they were very busy.
