Perfect property! Clean, neat, modern, and very enjoyable.

We loved staying at Almost Heaven. It was right on the water in a quiet & peaceful neighborhood. The house had everything we needed & more: The children loved the upstairs loft area. We only had 2 suggestions and they are minor. Please add some hooks or areas to hang bath towels. We also would have loved a ladder on the pier. It would have been easier to get the children on & off the pier. We hope we can stay again.

This was the perfect place for me and my group of friends to meet up for the weekend. The house was spacious, clean, and well-stocked. There were plenty of beds to fit everyone and great TVs for watching soccer and golf. The yard was amazing. We fit full games of whiffle ball and touch football into the huge space. The nearby River Marsh golf course (~10 min away) was awesome. And to cap things off, we even managed to catch a few crabs off the dock out back. I highly recommend this place for any getaways with family or friends!

The house was amazing! Plenty of space inside & out to for our whole family to be together & even spend some quiet time away from everyone when we needed to. The huge back yard hosted many wiffle ball & corn hole tournaments as well as easy access to the water for “friendly” fishing tournaments amongst the family! We also were able to go right into the water from the yard for us to use our kayaks & paddle boards. We couldn’t ask for a better weekend & are already planning our next visit!

Wow! Mindy truly thought of everything with this beautiful home. We stayed with four adults and 6 children and there was more than enough space, both for sleeping and relaxing. The views from the giant windows were amazing and our kids enjoyed exploring the dock and big backyard. The beds were comfy, every room had a tv, bathrooms were all updated and extremely clean (and heated toilets! Who knew in 90 degree heat/humidity those would still be wonderful?!), every light switch was labeled and the kitchen was stocked with basic needs. We highly recommend this home, easy drives to places such as Oxford and downtown Cambridge. Next time we definitely plan on bringing fishing polls and kayaks! Do not miss this home!

Our stay at this property was exceptional and exceeded expectations. It provided an ideal vacation spot for all our family. The house was fully renovated, complete with high-end appliances and tasteful furnishings, that were both stylish and comfortable. The attention to detail was evident, and we found the kitchen to be well-equipped with all the cookware and silverware we needed for all our culinary needs. The extraordinary backyard was our favorite. It was a large space that allowed the kids to run around and play various games, with a nice grill BBQ'ing against the bay's beautiful backdrop. Games and explorations were thoroughly enjoyed by the children. A standout feature was the pier that offered us a unique crabbing experience. The host provided crab pots, which was a thoughtful touch, allowing us to go crabbing each day with both the adults and kids. The house's layout catered to all generations. Main floor bedrooms were ideal for the grandparents, while the upstairs offered a fun and cozy place for the kids. The host's excellent communication and helpful recommendations only enhanced our experience. They were responsive from booking through to departure, showcasing an accommodating nature that added to our stay. This property was remarkable. It offered a fun and comfortable experience, creating great memories for every family member. We would definitely love to come back! Highly recommended!

This location has everything that it has advertised. A beautiful view. Excellent access to the water and fun fishing from the property. The house is spacious for 9 people! Great place!

Beautifully well kept home!! Great open living room with a beautiful deck overlooking the bay.. comfortable beds with plenty of places to sleep for a big group. Would recommend this property to everyone. Home has everything u could want for a week or a month stay. We will be back in 2024....

3 women of a certain age spent 4 days in this wonderful house. We couldn't have asked for a better partner in Mindy -- she is FABULOUS to work with. The 3 generously sized bedrooms downstairs all had really comfortable beds (we didn't try to sleep in the upstairs bunk room) and 3 full baths were perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed and the sunset views were to die for. Having stayed in VRBO properties all over the world, I'd rate this house with the best. We'll definitely be back!

This property looked amazing on VRBO, so we booked it for my family to celebrate my dads 60th birthday and let me say, we ALL had the best time! My parents enjoyed the first floor bedroom, huge shower and heated toilet seats, with view of the dock and water from the living room or kitchen - they didn’t miss an ounce of fun! The kids ages 4-12 enjoyed fishing day and night along with the boat ramp where we launched the kayak (and when the adults were tired) the kids could still use the little scoop nets and splash their feet around. You can see the entire yard from the kitchen and living room. The yard is so big we played baseball on only half of it! There are so many beautiful outdoor seats, a table, fireplace. It was hard to have any plans with how beautiful and peaceful the yard was! This house clearly has been newly renovated and maintain to be immaculate. Everything worked, and had the latest and greatest appliances. Even the light switches were labeled for easy use! Our host very graciously let us check in an hour earlier and had clear and quick communication! They have everything you would need from griddles, crock pots, coffee maker etc! My sister enjoyed the complimentary wine that was left for us as well! The home is 11 minutes from the town, and we ate at the same amazing place 2 of our 3 nights! Carmella’s Cucina has the best pizza and Italian food around (take out or dine in). We would come back for this food alone! Rise up for breakfast/coffee and RAR for a beer we’re great - all within 10-15 minutes from the house so you’re not wasting time driving around during vacation! We absolutely love supporting small local businesses and Cambridge didn’t disappoint! As we head home, I’m already planning out next vacation to this beautiful Cambridge home! I would 11/10 recommend this to any group, any ages, any occasion! One of the best we’ve ever had!

I love the community between the host and us. The property is nice and clean. They have everything in terms of tools for cooking in and outside. It nice view too. highly recommended and will come back again. Thanks Mindy the host, who made our stay easier too.

We decided to take a last minute family vacation and decided to rent a house on the water somewhere quiet. This house was perfect! The house in person is 10 times better than the pictures! The owners were thoughtful in every detail when they made the house. The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances. The floor plan is amazing for a group or family. The backyard is amazing. We walked along the dock every night to watch the amazing sunsets. We went at a down time in the season so it was very quiet. The owner was very responsive to questions I had. We had an amazing time and created wonderful family memories.

If your looking for a beautiful amazing house to stay at this is the one , look at the pictures and the house is just as amazing as the pictures if not better I was more then impressed with this house and perfect location and the water view from the bedroom I had was amazing !! The communication with the owners was awesome and they were very patient with me. I couldn’t of asked for a better place to stay. my kids and me did not want to leave !!! I would definitely stay there again and again !! There is everything you needed there pots pans, dishes, teapot, coffee maker, toaster it was just absolutely amazing!!!

This was the perfect place for us to stay while visiting our daughter and grandchildren who live nearby. When we drove there the first night we thought it was way far away. After driving back and forth to Cambridge, Trappe and Easton several times we soon learned it’s really quite close to everything but quietly tucked away on the waters edge. The host was super responsive to all my requests. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful home with panoramic view of the river. The home was recently renovated with up to date everything . It really has the wow factor in every room . Fished and crabbed from the dock and kayaked too. Nice place to launch kayaks at the dock. the property manager was very nice and easy to contact. Sue
