I got a Two Queen sweet and it was the best room for the beach. The beds were separated by rooms so myself and my friend had personal space. The hotel text me letting me know my room was ready, followed up with me to make sure everything was good and so I had open communication with the hotel. The view was amazing. The employees were so friendly and went above and beyond. I had no issues with my service animal, especially because the hotel is pet friendly anyway. This was a great price for being right on the beach. It is close to VA Beach, but is more local so not over crowded and more tranquil. I would highly recommend.

I liked that we had breakfast included. When we arrived the floor needed another vacuum. When we asked for the workers to vacuum our floor they did it right away and we didn’t have to complain to them again.

The rooms are decent with them being clean. The windows outside and inside need a good clean but the rest of the room was ok.

We love the location, cleanses, an free breakfasts, an closeness of oceanfront, an pool area.

We didn't care for some of the staff rudeness when answering a question we had or our second to last day at breakfast staff changed from days before lady wasn't very nice. We wish the check in time was before 4pm.

Our door didn't want to lock. But I mentioned to them when I checked out and they were going to look at that.

Breakfast was great, the room was comfortable. But a lot of construction going on. But it's OK. In the end I could envision how it would turn out. I'd definitely stay again. Thanks!!

The location right on the beach is great. The staff was also friendly and helpful.

The whole property has an old and run-down feel to it. No blanket on the bed, just a thin covering in the middle of winter.

Had issue with a wet carpet, the maintenance crew spoke to me like I didn't know what I was talking about. Other than that, a nice place to stay.

It was on the beach, it was pet friendly, it had guest laundry facilities and complimentary breakfast.

The shoreline behind the motel and access to it was not looked after or cleaned up; therefore there was lots of debris on the not-so-wide beach including dog poop, and dead Sea birds. The building itself is old and the rooms could use a fresh coat of paint and SOUND PROOFING. At night we could hear movement and a tv from other rooms. There was a storage room door (in the breezeway leading to the beach) which had no latch and or lock and was loudly opening and slamming shut in the strong wind the first night we were there. The rooms may have been clean, but came off as dim and dingy, so even though there was a kitchenette, it didn’t feel appealing to cook in. Our room smelled stale and musty when we first arrived, but we left our door open a crack (all the doors open to the outside) and that fortunately cleared out the mustiness. We did not enjoy the complimentary breakfasts.The majority of the food items were overly sweet and there were few nutritious-conscious food-for example, there was only white bread and no wheat. I, at one point, called the front desk to have a couple of toilet paper rolls brought to our room and I was told they would take care of that right away, but it never happened. I was pleased that there were guest laundry facilities available, but only one of the two dryers were functioning.
