Location was great walking distance to show at Coliseum.

Not enough trash cans in room and flat pillows were terrible

Actually ended up canceling our reservation and finding another hotel. When we showed up after 4pm, the lobby was packed with people waiting for rooms to be ready. The staff was obviously overwhelmed. When I got to the counter, the receptionist informed me that they had canceled one of the two rooms that I had booked. She stated that they thought it was a duplicate and i had booked 2 rooms by mistake. When I informed her that was not the case, she informed me that they had already given away my second room. They did not at any time attempt to contact me regarding this issue. She allowed me to cancel my booking without any fee and stated she would give me complimentary points on my Marriott account - that still has not happened. We found a nicer hotel about 10 minutes away.

Clean and inviting

Having to wait an hour plus to check in after making reservations online. Arrival to hotel was 2:30 am. Couldn’t check in until 4 am.

Location

The location. It was centered around a lot of shops and restaurants.

The noise level. The outside guests in the parking lot.

Not much! This Courtyard by Marriott was one of the worst we have stayed at. It looks lovely from outside but that was very deceiving.

The fact that this hotel did not have a free breakfast put us off for a start! This is the first hotel we have stayed at in a long time that did not have a free breakfast. Even most small hotels have at least a continental breakfast. We could have had a breakfast from Starbucks if we were willing to pay for it!! We also had to pay for Starbucks coffee. We did have coffee (if you can call it that) in our room but it was dreadful. In the evening my husband went to Reception to get me some water so I could take my medication. We had noticed a large container filled with water earlier on but it was empty and had not been refilled. The bathroom shower was nice but because the shower door did not close properly the bathroom floor was flooded with water similar to a wet room!! We had to use the towels provided to dry the floors which left us without towels after the first member of the family had showered. Would not stay at this hotel again if someone paid us. It is Airbnb from now on.
