Honeymoon trip. Was amazing view and very friendly staff. Plan to make it a yearly trip.

Beautiful views, great breakfast, good location. We were in older part of hotel and especially the bathroom needs update.

Unfortunately, this was an incredibly disappointing experience. The room was not clean and smelled strongly of mildew (wine cork and other items on the floor from previous guests, rips in the screen which was a problem since we needed to keep it open for fresh air). They had one other available room that smelled just as bad and looked even more run down. When we asked at 5pm to speak with a manager, we were told she left already and we could follow up the next day (but there was nothing they could or would do). This was a motel at best, and is clearly not being taken care of appropriately.
The location is the only benefit, but there are other options in the area.

This property is great mostly because of the view you get from your room. The location is great and close to Good Harbor Beach. The hotel offers a nice breakfast in the morning as well. The only thing was our screen in our room (216) had a tear in it and needed to be replaced. Also our refrigerator did not work the first night. However, I did tell them and it was fixed the following day.

Great place to stay for a beautiful view of the water.
Staff was very kind and attentive.
Pool, hot tub and outdoor games were all kept nice and clean.

Our room was not ready at check in time. We were told they were busy because of the holiday the day before and still trying to clean rooms. Noticed that night there was a dirty was cloth left in the bathroom from the prior guest and hardly any toilet paper in the room. Everything else was fine except the guests in the room next to us that were loud at 1 in the morning but nothing the hotel can do about that.

If you are looking for a gorgeous view of the ocean in a quiet setting, this place is for you. This hotel has been in operation since 1889 yet has all the modern amenities one is looking for. The atmosphere is so tranquil. My adult daughter, who has a stressful job, said upon arriving, "I feel like my blood pressure has dropped 20 points." Clean, spacious rooms wll with oceanfront views. The staff is excellent, and it includes a nice complimentary breakfast. Highly recommended!

The staff was completely accommodating and top notch in all ways I look for. Overlooking Bass Rocks and the sounds of the ocean rollers washing in was mesmerizing and lulled me to sleep. The included breakfast each⁷ morning was plentiful and delicious. Coffee was Starbucks and perfectly brewed. An important plus for me. I kept extending mh stay, one day at a time!

Amazing weekend getaway! Loved the complimentary breakfast, bike rentals, and the views! Staff was very friendly and always working to make sure we had everything we needed. AC worked great!

This property is in a beautiful location. Rooms facing the ocean with balcony was incredible. Just a couple miles to town. We had great conversations with new people around the fire. Only downside was check-in. Didn't get out room until after 4pm. Kept being told that they would text us but after 3 other couples walked up and got their keys we decided to ask and they said it was ready. Feel if we had gone out and just waited they never would have text. So that needs cleaned up. Would also be nice to add a daily membership to the club next door to have drinks without having to drive into town.

Very nice property and wonderful views! Staff was very pleasant though room was not ready at check-in time (after holiday weekend so we understand). Room nice and quiet, spacious and clean with beautiful balcony overlooking the water. Bathroom very small and they need to get rid of the old tub and put in a walk in shower. Beds very stiff - could use more comfortable mattresses. Continental breakfast very nice. Overall though we were very happy with our stay and would return again!

Great hotel, we really enjoyed it. Beautiful location on the ocean, wonderful waking up to the sounds of the surf. Property was immaculate. bed comfortable as well. We were visiting family so we did not get a chance to enjoy breakfast but it looked delicious and people were smiling.

The hotel was perfect for myself and my wife. The staff demonstrated professionalism and were pleasant to deal with. They recieved an incoming package and notified me once it arrived. The breakfast was sufficient for myself and my wife. It is a light breakfast so don't expect a full spread. You are paying for the scenic overview which was worth it in my opinion. The bathrooms are tiny which was really the only negative for me. Wonderful place and staff nonetheless.

The ocean view from the room was incredible! Easy walking or jogging from the hotel and along the ocean path. Very clean and beds were super comfortable. Free breakfast was delicious. Would stay here again!

Stunning views, cozy bed, accessible features including pool and spa which were sparkling clean and heated! Overall charming, great friendly service at an excellent value. Would stay again.

Original inn is very charming. Breakfast room is lovely with a much better than usual selection. There is a billiard room and a roof top viewing area. Recommend choosing a room with queen size beds since that has an oversized balcony with overhang. Great for relaxing and enjoying the view. Rooms are very nicely decorated. Baths are small and a bit tired. Could use an extra shelf and hooks. Would definitely recommend
