Surface level, the room was clean but there was a lot of mold in the corners of the bathrooms. The carpets, while not stained, were quite dirty…as was evident by our white socks. The hotel is quite dated and old. The room smelled very musty when I first arrived but either I got used to it or it dissipated with some air flow and movement in the room. The location is very convenient for anyone looking to visit the Falls and attractions without the noise level of staying right at Clifton Hill. The service was great tho! We unexpectedly had to cut our reservation one night short and they were accommodating and gave us a refund for the last night.

The good - breakfast had tasty, fresh options and was well stocked. The pool is cold but pleasant. Its an easy walk to the Falls The bad - the rooms are definitely outdated. The bathroom cabinet, the carpeting, the a/c, the wallpaper, everything says outdated or fix me. The hours to use the pool, even though there is no lifeguard, you can't swim before 9am The ugly - they don't tell you that you are paying for your beverages on top of the already additional breakfast charge. Be ready to pay EXTRA for coffee, tea, juice etc. Funny smell. You go to your floor and as the elevator opens, be prepared..its FUNKY. Hard to describe. Old? Mould? Mothballs? Not quite sure. I spoke with reception and they said "we give our guests airfreshners". Wow! Clearly they are aware but nothing is being done to erradicate whatever issue is causing this. I asked to change the room but apparently only one was available two door down on the same floor, in the entire hotel. Strange, because the next day the number of cars in the parking lot was exponentially higher....

Property is walking distance the falls, staff is great

The room smelled a bit of molding, on internet i piicked different view i got actual different view of the room. Staff was an amazing, walking anywhere was perfect.also they hold the 100dollar for 5-7 daya

Nice convenient location for seeing the falls and clifton hill. Rooms were clean, staff were friendly. First pool at a hotel I've seen with a real deep end! Hotel needs updating and shows its age. Wifi is weak hard to keep phones connected. It is noisy at night being right on river road, lots of car noise. Paying for parking when you have already paid for a room is weird but understandable. I'd stay here again but its nothing special.

Well. First night was up all night because of the people next door complained to front desk and they did nothing.. talked to the manger the next day and pretty much didnt nothing as well .. thanks for 10 year anniversary getaway

The place was clean but really dated. Bathroom very small. Bed was comfortable but could use some updates. You also have yo pay $15 a day to park.

Hot tub water was cloudy and problem with turning tub on persists. I have reported the tub issue on previous stays, but nothing has been done in 2 years. The Push button must be held for several seconds, or the tub will not start. Unit start button needs repair/replacement and a sign on how to start is needed. No excuse for cloudy water. Ron C.

The tub was cracked, the hot tub did not work, I was locked out 4 times and 1 time I waited 30 minutes for an employee to show up at the desk to let me in. Despite all this when I asked to have the room cost reduced they looked at me like I had 5 heads. I had booked the room to enjoy a night away with my wife and instead, it was embarrassing. I will NEVER use a Travelodge again. To be expected to pay at all was appalling given the state of disrepair. I went to Niagara Falls literally to be robbed. Thanks so much

This was a perfect spot for our 3 night stay! We arent so much into the fancy and flashy just a safe place to stay with our toddlers. This place was more than accommodating! Very friendly staff, onsite parking, walking distance to all attractions and we got to choose to stay on the first floor which was so convenient with a stroller. Yes it could use some maintenance and upgrading but it was clean and safe that mattered most to us.

Clean and tidy properly

Way over priced for what you’re getting. Was not impressed at all by my stay. Will never return. Don’t waste your money by staying here. We had bugs In our room and the doors don’t close behind you so please be careful , you have to close them forcefully. Our bathroom tub was also very dirty. Also, We were told if our room was ready and cleaned before check in time we could have it early , we called the next day once we arrived in the falls and another worked told us our room was ready but we couldn’t have our room until check in time.

The bed sheets had stains on it. Overall room was not that clean. Room smelled of smoke. Staff were great. It was more like a motel than a hotel. I would definitely not book again

Stayed here a couple times....service is always immaculate and location by the river gives beautiful views. Affordable and comfortable. Will be visiting again for sure in future.

The shower in the room was not the best.. constantly having hot water to cold water. The hot tub was murky and looked dirty

Our room was in a half basement, very humid and very little nutaral light.
