Wonderful Hotel in the centre of cultural Vienna. From the moment we arrived the staff are attentive without being smothering. The room was beautiful and the spa was a bonus. Breakfast was an absolute treat too. All of the main sights of Vienna are a short walk. Brilliant Hotel

Bar was very popular. Great service throughout. Dimitri at reception arranged things for me and was so kind and helpful.

Beautiful, clean classic Austrian hotel, Excellent & very helpful Concierge, very nice rooms. Only problem is was the Air Conditioning, room hot temperature. 1st room, after 4 tries, they said A/C didnt work and could fix. So they moved us to a 2nd room. 2nd room was very nice, buttttt, similar room heat problem. Problem--- only 1 of 2 AC motors were working (hall AC fine, bedroom AC was broken & would take hours to fix). So at 11pm we changed to a 3rd room. Its AC worked fine.
Front receptionist team were nice people, but were limited as to what they could offer. No portable fans are available (would of been a solution) and staff explained the hotel was older, as is the AC system.
Again everything except the AC was excellent about the hotel, great location and wonderful Concierge.

I was given a dirty room. Manger later changed to another room. Air conditioning never worked properly in the room. It was 90 F outside. Room temp never went below 71F. Requested fan 3 days in a row. Fan never arrived.
Breakfast was ok, but there a few untrained staff who do not know the concept of space...
Concierge and Manager are resoanbly good,
House keeping terrible. They do not clean rooms.

Located in the heart of old town Vienna on the Ringstrasse, this old world gem has been updated but still holds the old world charm as a first class hotel.

We had an amazing 3 night stay at the hotel. Definitely one of the better hotels we have stayed at in Europe. From service to the amenities, attention to detail was very impressive. Location is very central to most of the attractions in Vienna. Very family friendly. Breakfast was amazing every morning.

The location was perfect for my short visit to the city. There was so much to see in walking distance as well as good restaurants. Staff were friendly & accommodating. Parking was very reasonable; be sure to use the valet service bc driving in garage is tight & there isn’t any extra cost, just tip.

Decent room and convenient location but bad experience with reservations that would not let me correct arrival date. Also, no car showed up at airport despite booking. Poor quality breakfast for a 5 star hotel. Supposedly fancy restaurant did not have air conditioning which made it impossible to enjoy the meal in a hot day. Will not be back for sure.

I was a co-leader of a student arts group, and we initially chose the hotel because it was close to the Staatsoper. But it's close to Karntnerstrasse and shopping, and many museums. The hotel is luxurious (not what I was looking for, but you get used to it :)), and customer service was excellent: helpful, multilingual staff.

It is a beautiful hotel with lovely service. It is also in a fabulous location and easily walkable to the Opera, St Stephen’s Cathedral, the Albertine, and many other sites.

Staff helpful breakfast superb. I love lots of breakfast tea made in my room. No milk provided as I have always found in other hotels. If I wanted little cartons they would charge me a service charge and for the milk. Disappointing.

The hotel is magnificent. Beautifully maintained and the room was large and beautiful. The staff are all spectacular, friendly, efficient. All our needs were met almost immediately.
Location is also perfect -KartneRing is in the middle of everything and a great upscale and safe area. I highly recommend and will be back.

The staff was phenomenal. They really go the extra mile for their guests. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, clean, quiet and safe. Shopping, dining and transportation are at your fingertips. I will stay again when visiting Vienna.

This is an amazing luxurious "old style" grand hotel with two fantastic restaurants (we had an amazing mutli-course dinner with outstanding wine pairing) and a top-notched bar. The room was amazing- grand, clean, and in perfect condition. The hotel is located 2 min from the Opera and right in the heart of town. The only slight blemish was the ground floor bar/food area. While the pianist was great and the decor excellent, the food and service were not on par with the rest of the hotel (how long and hard is it to cook a burger with cooked bacon; and why would the staff not apologize for the long delay and uncooked food?).

This was a fabulous traditional hotel with excellent dining choices. It was a little cool during our visit so we got hot chocolate from the lobby café. Very unusual and fun.
Learned How to use a bidet! We had no car so the hotel was perfectly located.

The hotel generally meets the expectation from a 5-star hotel. It is worth pointing out the courtesy of the staff, the high standars of cleanliness and the very convenient location. The breakfast was satisfactory and enjoyable. The thing that needs attention for improvement is some pieces of furniture in the room such as seats that squeak when used.

The variety and quality in breakfast very low for a 5 stars hotel... No coffee machine available, instead, you have to order it and when it comes is cold and so small, so you have to order again. No basics like eggs or toasts or bacon available, you have to order them and they may take 20 minutes (!) to arrive.... They don't seem to know what a cappucino is (It's NOT a bit of coffee with a huge amount of just milk)...
If you ask for a late check out (just two hours more), they ask you to pay it (first time I experience this in a 5 stars hotel)
As for the cleaning... well, check under the bed when you get into your room...

We had a lovely time! Food at the restaurants was excellent and the wait staff were amazing! Friendly, professional, made me feel right at home, especially Gabriel, Markus, Klaudia, Sally and Ivana. We wish you all the best and we miss you already.
