Inadequate lighting, dated furnishings, smell of mold in bathroom, WC located so close to one wall making it impossible to use in normal position.

The property is very quaint and comfortable. The restaurant is only open for breakfast, but it was very yummy.

Very nice and comfortable stay overall. However there were no coffee/ tea facility inside the room, had to walk all the way to the main lobby to get morning coffee.

Amazing room with a hot tub out on our back patio, but not very private(I could see people walking by as I got out of the hot tub.. luckily I had a bathing suit on but still made me very uncomfortable). No coffee or tea in the room. Had to walk into the lobby to get coffee. Breakfast was good but it took 45 to receive our food once we ordered... and there were only three other occupied tables. Maybe only one cook? My advice would be to allow at LEAST 1 hour and 15 minutes if you are eating breakfast. I was 30 min late to work that morning.

I wanted to love this hotel so much. It was quaint, and pretty, with a comfortable room and nice amenities and pool. However, there was a super high pitched noise in the room that the maintenance staff barely pretended to fix while giving us skeptical side-eye. We had to sleep with ear-plugs because it was so annoying.
Also, the pool could have used a couple more seats. We ended up laying on the ground because the two available lounge chairs were taken.

This is a beautiful and cozy place. Our room was inviting, clean and beautiful. The location is close to downtown but far enough away that your stay is not impacted by crowds. Love the wine tasting, gift shop and restaurants.

Cons: loud AC, stiff doors, non-working outlets. Seems dated, basically.
I still recommend this place as it is cute and the breakfast at the restaurant on site cannot be beat. Be sure and try the afternoon hot cider in the lobby (somebody give me this recipe!)

We love staying at The Apple Farm! We've been here many times. The rooms are huge and love the decor. The beds are so comfortable. There aren't as many amenities offered as in the past but that's everywhere nowadays. The pool was nice but they should have some umbrellas.

This is a gem of a property , so adorable and quaint. Can’t recommend it enough . Loved it so much came back 2 months later for another visit. Love everything from the warm chocolate chip cookie at check in to the Complementary wine tasting with a very knowledgeable and friendly wine Stewart. Five stars all the way !

This property was clean and so nice with such character. You won’t be disappointed with the fresh cookies upon arrival, friendly staff. Free wine tasting, fresh coffee and tea in the lobby, and the grounds make for great pictures. Close to everything, shopping restaurants and 25 minutes from Avila beach. Definitely will stay here again.

Not the Apple Farm it use to be. Desk clerk provided as little assistance as possible for anything.. Did not feel welcomed or appreciated as a guest. Called front desk for an hour extension on check out and got a recording to ‘send an email’ Late check out denied ( once we were able to reach someone) as ‘too many request had been granted’ .. numerous rooms around mine were vacated quite early in the AM so that made zero sense. No way to treat guest that have visited the hotel on numerous occasions through the years. Will not be returning.

Very close to freeway. Lots of freeway noise we had to have air conditioning on all night for white noise. No coffee makers in room. Had to go in lobby to get coffee. Far walk

This is a nice hotel. We stayed in the hotel area and not the main "inn" building. Rooms aren't huge but they're nicely appointed and pretty. Very clean which is most important. AC in each room, soap and shampoo on the wall of shower, a fridge and a pretty fireplace. Plenty of pillows too. We didn't get a chance to eat at the on site restaurant but it looks very nice. I think it's breakfast and lunch only. I'm sure we'll stay here again.

Great place to stay while on vacation. This was a last minute decision as our main vacation was going to be in Santa Cruz. Coming from LA, we decided to leave Wednesday instead. We needed a place quick and found this gem of a place.
They know how to take care of visitors. Free coffee, free apple cider, the water wheel was very interesting for the kids and the frogs at night.
The pool was small and not too deep and perfect for kids.
The restaurant was busy as it was 4th of July. But food was good and the orange juice was fresh.

This was a place where it would be great if my wife was with me. It would be perfect for a romantic setting. Being a single guy this trip, I was not able to make use of all the amenities.
