The hotel is under remodel. Room signs in floor, AC didn’t work, exhaust fan didn’t work, shower had major crack in surround, mold on ceiling, grounds has dumpster sitting in front with pallets leaning against it, plastic temp walls in corridor and lobby, terrible breakfast set up. Coffee sucked,

No mattress pad (said they ran out?). Building under renovation (would have been good to know ahead of time). No workout room.

I expected a little better for Holiday Inn Express - clean building, clean rooms, breakfast. What we got was a beat up building, reception staff who were never around and a room that had a bathroom that was unclean and had black mold on the entire ceiling. On the upside the location was perfect and breakfast room was new and the breakfast was as expected. I would not recommend this hotel until the rooms are renovated.

Didnt like that they were renovating.

The front desk lady made me wait to get towels so she could count to make sure she had enough, even thought my room didn't have enough. Then had to wait for her to bring towels to the pool when she could've easily handed them to me. They were right next to her (2 ft away literally) but she made me wait again. I felt that they are not open to different ethnicities visiting the area and were rude about they way they handled their business.

Police came knocking on doors at 10:00pm asking if we heard any "unusual" noises from next door. When we questioned manager next morning, very brusque, rude and dismissive! Room not overly clean and missing simple amenities like tissues, body wash and blow drier. Jets in hot tub not working. Pool was clean and cinnamon rolls at breakfast were marvelous!

we have been to lots of Holiday Inn express and we petty much like the Express except this one. Management is terrible, rooms were not clean, Bathroom and hallway light wasn't working, promise to fix but never did. No bathroom tissue, all tissue box was empty, 2 shower towel, had to beg for towel everyday, trash can was like a small pot with no plastic bag on there, one of the blanket had a dirty spots in it, breakfast room coffee was like water with no coffee test. All in all was very bad experience.

The stairway stunk.. We only had 1 roll of toilet paper .. No tissues or garbage bags for the cans.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for two nights, the first night we checked in the woman who was at the desk was very nice and friendly. We got to our room and everything seemed fine except, I booked us a king bedroom and I got two fulls, not a huge deal my boyfriend and just let it go we were tired.. we sat down at the small table to eat some dinner. As I'm eating I look under the bed, there’s a used cup right at the foot of the bed, and I try to ignore it (out of sight out of mind). The TV remote barely worked.. anyway I digress. The next day we got up and go get some hotel breakfast, it was fine nothing special. we got back to our room and started to get ready for the day ( we were headed to a wedding) I pulled the ironing board out there was a sock behind it.. and I still didn’t say anything. The rest of our stay was fine the checkout process was easy but I don’t think I will stay in this hotel ever again.

Hotel is in the process of remodeling. The room I was in should have been closed. Not clean. Bathroom door wouldn't shut. Dresser drawers wouldn't stay closed. Have stayed here 2 other times without complaints. Just needs a good cleaning

Mold in room, bathroom not clean

Room was ok. Smelled a little like someone had been smoking in it. Had to wait a bit at the check in. Property was a little dated. Nice folks. Bed was comfy and good set of pillows.

The building is being renovated, and way beyond needing repair, but the cleanliness was still lacking. The toilet was not cleaned, and there was some trash left on the carpet. Other than that, it was great. NOT!

I took my daughter and 2 grandchildren to this hotel for 2 nights, 2 rooms. I was embarrassed by the filth (I have some photos), the lack of basic supplies in rooms (no toilet paper, tissues, cream or sugar for the “complimentary coffee in-room, and shortage of towels. The hot tub was absolutely disgusting. There was not enough breakfast and what was there was just awful. In 2 days, I did not see ONE housekeeper or housekeeper cart. The desk clerk supplied me with a trash bag with a few towel, one roll of toilet paper and a box of tissues. I paid almost $200 per room per night for a DUMP. I asked to have the general manager call me. She never did, but I met her briefly while exiting the hotel. She said “I’m sorry you had a bad experience.” She was far from cordial and not helpful at all.

Property was old and dusty. The shower had a significant crack in the wall. Mold on ceiling. NOT what I was expecting or used to staying in. The only thing that was redeeming was the bed was firm. When we arrived at 3:00 for check-in the front desk clerk was abrupt and said check in was at 4:00. He said the reservation says 3:00. She said, well it’s 4:00!! We were traveling with 2 little ones who were exhausted. Not even a little hospitality. I have pictures of the wall and Mold.

The hotel is under maintainance. There should be supervision for the cleaning.

Check inn is 4pm we had 4 rooms only 1 ready at 4. The last room wasn’t ready until 6:45pm!!

They start check-in at 4:00, because lack of personnel. Hotel is in construction, all over the place. Was not notify in you publicity. Not sure I will use Expedia again, bad first experience.

We love this hotel and it's staff we stay here often. Right now they were renovating, but all hotels need to upgrading from time to time. We have never had any complaints and I would imagine if we did they would handle it quite quickly for us. One of our favorite people that work here is Leslie in the kitchen and dining area. He is very good at his job and takes quite a lot of pride in it and it shows. He dared to take a vacation and leave us with another attendant for a few days and I let him know that is never to happen again. Lol. The front desk staff is also lovely. As many times as we have stayed here I have never once had an issue. While traveling back and forth from New York to New Hampshire during a very hard time rescuing six children and dealing with court cases and such, we always felt a sense of relief when we were in the hotel during those very stressful times. The staff at this hotel will never know how much we appreciate always feeling that way the minute we walked in the door. It was the one bright spot in a very dark time. In the end we won and the children are safe! We still love coming to this hotel when we're back in the area for happier reasons.

The room had not been done. We had to make our own bed go get towels and hand soap for bathroom.

The correct price for this room should have been 150$ maximum for a Friday night. Old facility, bad service at checkin, rooms half-done .

Very dirty and rundown.

I am not one for negative feedback...I have been staying here for the past 15 or so years.....and always have been considerate of hospitality workers ( I owned a restaurant/bar for 35 years). And I say this .....I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN !.....no rant ....It's not worth my time

The price was ok for location, but the place needs lots of love

Unfortunately had a terrible experience. The lobby and halls were filthy. When we got to our room, I immediately noticed stains on our bed sheets, hair on the pillows, dirt on the floor, long hairs all over the shower, used contact lenses on the sink and stains in the toilet. Clearly the room hadn’t actually been cleaned, but was made to look like it had been (ie beds were made and towels were folded and hung). Housekeeping came back and cleaned a few things up, but service and quality is very much lacking at this hotel. There are plenty of other places to stay in this area.

The hotel was okay for just the quick weekend we stayed. We didn’t spend much time at the hotel itself. The room didn’t feel overly clean and the bathroom had a musty smell. The whole hotel overall had an unpleasant smell. They weren’t apply to accommodate early check in or late check out even for platinum IHG members. The free continental breakfast was helpful for the kids. The pool was good.

Upon arriving at the hotel we were unable to check in until 4pm even though the website clearly states 3pm. The hotel is a perfect location for the settlers green outlet.

Review Title: Horrible Experience - Terrible Smell and Poor Service Review: I stayed at the Holiday Inn from July 21st to 23rd, and it was an incredibly disappointing experience, especially as we were celebrating my birthday. The room had a terrible smell that was unbearable. My husband couldn't handle the smell and ended up sleeping in the car for two nights. When I informed the front desk, they said they would send an engineer to check on it and provide an air purifier. However, when we returned at night, the room had not been cleaned, and the smell persisted. Despite ensuring the "Do Not Disturb" sign was not on our door, no one cleaned our room or provided fresh towels. Due to these issues, we had to leave a day early. This was not the birthday celebration we had hoped for. I expected better from Holiday Inn and am extremely disappointed with the lack of service and response to our complaints. I do not recommend staying at this location

I was thr only person at thr desk took 20 mins+ to checkin. Phone didnt work and the rooms are tired

Under renovations

We arrived at 5:57pm- room wasn’t ready, waited another hour before they got us into our room. Told us it was because they only had 1 house keeper. Then when we got into our room nothing had been cleaned. The beds had been made but smelled of pee and had a weird red/brown stain on one of them. The bathroom had stains from the last people in and on it. Overall the cleanliness was poor. Usually staying at a Hilton, holiday inn or Hampton inn is safe because they are at least clean- but I will never stay there again. Very disappointed with my stay.
