Staffs are nice guys but property is dirty place, room has a bad smell.

The room itself was clean. However the property felt unsafe. Uber driver mentioned the area and the hotel was frequented by unsavory people.

Very unsatisfied with the property. There is urine smell throughout the carpeting in the room was infested with flies and bugs. Had to go by sprays so that we can sleep the night. Called the hotel multiple times spoke to the manager, but nobody responded back to my issues or concerns. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

Worst hotel I ever seen. My rating for this place would be zero if I had the option. Hallways smelled like urine and as soon as we walked in the room, we seen 2 big roaches, we stomped them and walked right back out. There was also old powder roach poison on the top edge of the bed frame. I refuse to stay in this unsanitary and disgusting room so we tried getting our money back and the request was decline. Do not stay here!

Last minute reservation, got into the room and there was little roaches everywhere.

The hotel is situated near to NJ Transit bus stations from where you can travel to different tourist spots, good for people who want to park their vehicle and travel by public transport. Not a great place when you are looking for facilities in the room

The hotel was not as advertised. A 1-star does not describe the smell, condition, non-working AC unit, uncomfortable mattress, broken mirror, etc rooms that we were in. I had called 3 times for early check-in as we were heading to a concert at 1 PM. I was assured that we would have at least one of the rooms available. When we arrived, I was told that we could get both of the rooms and that I would be charged $10 per hour that we were early on each room so therefore, it would be another $60. Once I said no and asked for the policy, I was quickly given the room keys. Avoid this hotel.

Very old buildings. The travel was difficult due ti riad patterns.

Seems like a hotel from third world country . But overall was comfortable inside . Certainly not worth of the $90 we paid for one night . This should be priced for like $40-$45 max

The absolute worst experience to date. My call was 2 minutes shy of 4 hours. Four HOURS. My perception is that Abby and Christina literally wasted my time on the phone in the hopes I would hang up instead of help me after the hotel I booked on line called me to cancel my booking because they were “busy”. I could come in person to book the room I previously booked with Expedia and pay an extra $500. I was driving for 3 /4 hours on the phone. I missed our ferry to Staten Island for sunset experience because I was on the phone with Christina. While driving Christina asked me to look up hotels to book instead of looking herself as I was driving. I found two and she said no then she said she found the Howard Johnson. Then she said my visa debit credit card and my friends Mastercard wouldn’t work. It was false. I know for sure she wanted me to hang up as she put us on hold for EXTRAordinary amount of time. She said she charged the company’s credit card to process the booking and after my call ended I was billed. She literally wasted hours of my time so that she wouldn’t process my booking as I secured my reservation at $202 Canadian and she couldn’t find any hotels at that prices and wanted me to look for hotels on my drive to NYC. I haven’t slept and am still stressed about the almost 4 hour phone call with Expedia. I have screen shots of the time on the phone with Christina and Abby and have a tape recording of the phone call with the hotel who tried to scam me

Tv wasn’t working also hot water wasn’t running in shower.

What a dump. A night i very much want to forget forever. Ive stayed in some sketchy motels ... this one takes the cake. From a bad attitude from the guy who checked me in to a crappy SMOKING room that i then had to get moved out of ... just bad on every level.

This hotel is dirty no place to hang jackets/clothes, dirty carpet, dirty bathroom floor.

not as bad as the other reviews state. rooms are old and not renovated but beds are comfortable . cheap shuttle to new york is a plus as well as free parking. but overall would not recommend if other options are available.

Killed 3 roaches

Roaches everywhere had to leave after first night. Contesting the charges. Health Department is involved.

Good size rooms, clean and friendly staff. Not close to public transport and on a noisy busy highway.

Only reason we stayed here is because our flights got cancelled and we were stranded in Jersey. This hotel is reflective of the whole town. Dirty, unappealing, rundown, unsafe (at least it felt that way), and expensive. At least the staff was friendly.

Needs to be renovated, the place is extremely dated.

facilities was run down. breakfast was a brown bag of juice and muffins. Shower barely worked

Our room was clean and the grab and go breakfast was very good with muffins granola bars juice and coffee.
