It was cute and quiet.

Needs an upgrade. Lobby is nice and inviting, but the rest of the place - not so much. Weird smells, low water pressure, stained carpets and hot. Probably not the best place to stay in the summer.

The carpet is worn and stained. The bed skirt on one bed had some sort of stain, not sure what it was. Shower was not good. A lot of money for the condition. The resort fee is a joke. It doesn’t get you anything, not even breakfast.

It’s a really dated hotel, the carpet stains your feet and smells horrible. Had to request they re clean the room as it smelled like dog pee. Horrible showers, no water pressure, and the beds are as if you are laying on cardboard. The tv reception also didn’t work. All in all it was just very dated, in desperate need for an upgrade.

There are great views from the rooms. The common areas are dated and the rooms technology could use some updating. Solid and basic, perfect for relaxing after being out on the town. Convenient location to grocery was fantastic and on site car charging is nice bonus.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tubs were closed and being worked on. That was a bummer but we do understand that's necessary.

We did have issues with the bathtub leaking and the toilet did not flush well. The first staff member did not take our concerns seriously. Had to talk to a manager.

This place provided the worst Customer Service I have ever had. Made an online reservation only to have my confirmation come out incorrectly and show the wrong date. I made it 15 minutes before arriving to check in. They refuse to fix the error and told me they would be happy to make another reservation, but would not change my original reservation that came up incorrectly and I would have to pay for both nights. The manager noted they were having similar issues for the last couple of days that she said likely was caused by the Microsoft Global update fiasco. I didn’t want a refund, I just wanted the errant date changed so I could check in after a very long drive. They refused to do anything to help a paying customer who will never use their services again and will likely have to dispute the charges and/or cancel the CC because I am not going to pay for services I did not receive.

Good location , room was fine, shower pressure needs to be improved a lot

The pool was closed, probably because it wasn’t cleaned in months. That was a big disappointment, we traveled All day to get there. The website said they had a pool. Carpet in our room was really stained. The hotel in all was not what we expected for the price

Price was good for the accommodations. The young lady at the front desk was very nice and welcoming, and helpful. We stayed in the 2 bedroom with loft- it was plenty roomy for 3 adults. We loved having the kitchen and the in room coffee was really good. One of the beds felt like the box spring frame was broken. It was quite warm in the loft, but the provided fans were great. We were disappointed that the pool was closed but there 2 hot tubs and they were great. We would stay here again.

Smell throughout the whole property including hallways and rooms, very hot despite AC, pool wasn’t cleaned throughly resulting in closing of the pool for 24 hours, crack in skylight letting hot air in, horrible mattress on pull out couch, outdated property, toilets did not flush properly.

The location was amazing. In between downtown and the ski mountain. But the rooms were dingy and many things were broken. Old carpet in the rooms and the shower water temp could never be regulated. It went from hot to cold and was never consistent. The sauna, ice machine on our floor, and some gym equipment were broke for the entire week we were there. The pool was closed as well but not sure of the reason.

Wasn’t able to just drive up and get an available room, had to go through the hassle of calling reservations then waiting for front desk to receive notice. Was told I had to use the stairs at the end of building where everyone smokes

Loved the loft room.

Not that bad, I would prefer another hotel next time, the driveway to the hotel is full of potholes, and the bathrooms were not clean enough I found hair from previous guests. The location is great, the place is quiet, but it needs a little update.

The property is well-kept, has amazing views, the staff are so nice, the rooms and common areas are clean, and it's close to shopping, ski resorts and several state parks.

The property is older. The beds are small and the plumbing is fragile. There are no dishwashers in the kitchens. The pullout couch beds are very uncomfortable. I like that is was pet friendly. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.

Very dated hotel needs repair and updating.

Ww have stayed at Hilltop several times over the years, winter and summer. Usually our stays have been great. However, last night a bunch of kids who were in Steamboat for a baseball event were running around slamming doors and partying at till nearly midnight. This is second time we have had noisy neighbors that have kept us awake till very late at this property.

Overall our stay was good, the only problem was the road to get there, it should really be fixed.

Good amenities, and probably used to be very nice. It’s still good, but this hotel could use a facelift and the addition of a bar/restaurant to become great. Free breakfast was advertised but actually not included.

Was not told all water would be shut off at 8am. This created some issues for us as we had an important business meeting at 10am and didn’t get a shower beforehand. Staff was kind though and delivered many bottles of water.

It's a nice location and we were ok. The good aspect of this place is that there is a shuttle running between the hotel and the ski resort

Cozy and we appreciated the Tesla destination charger...Shuttle service was also a plus!

Property needs to be updated, It's very dated and the sofa beds are extremely uncomfortable.

The room was spacious and the bed was clean and comfortable. Great location!
