The staff was very professional at check in. Our room was very clean and tidy. The continental breakfast was very nice. The cleaning staff was very efficient. The only thing I think the bathroom needed was a safety grab bar for us older people when getting in ,& out of the tub. I'm 82 & my wife is 81 so that would make easier & safer getting out of the tub. Everything else we were very happy with.

Although the hurricane hit around 2:30am and knocked the power out, we still had hot water to take a shower! The staff was friendly. No power for breakfast or any amenities, but that's not due to the hotel or staff. It's a nice and inexpensive place to stay!

I had paid for my room about a month ahead of time via Hotels. Com. The clerk had to search for a bit to find my reservation and was very pleasant in the process. I verified with him that it was a king size bed, he said 'no, I have it listed as two queen beds." I told him & showed him I had confirmation of a king bed. He changed the room immediately asking me if I wanted the first or second floor. Choice is always good! The room was clean, the bedsheets soft & fragrance free. Breakfast had no protein, self made waffles, cold cereal, limited pantries, toast, coffee & juice.

There was mold in the intire room. Told them they transfered us to another room, your surrounded by cemi trucks in your back windows because trucking store. Kinda have an odd smell to the rooms as well.

The front desk workers were kind and helpful. The lobby area occasionally had a rough smell, like trash that'd been sitting in the sun.
Room was as expected, tidy, no smells, working fridge. It is in a convenient location, right off of highway and interstate. There is a nearby grocery store, Waffle House, Dunkin Donuts, and Gas Station.
About 30 minutes to Jekyll Island.

We had to change rooms in the middle of the night due to the extremely bad smell coming from the AC unit. Both rooms that we stayed in had stained bed sheets. The water from the sink and bathtub had a bad smell. No elevator to access the 2nd floor.

Illegals living in the hotel, sitting on the stairs and blocking them when trying to get to room. Loud music in the parking lot until 2 in the morning. NO BREAKFAST even though the listing says they provide it. Again, Econolodge and these other hotels need to stop franchising it makes their name useless when booking because you have no idea what you are going to get.

The customer service was great at checkin and checkout. I basically purchased cleaning supplies and bedding. It is what it is but I shall not return.

The staff is nice and helpful. The lady that worked the front when we was checking in told us about the area and let us know the unsafe places. Very thankful seeing as we have kids

This hotel was rated very good on Hotels.com. We would only rate it good. It is located in a safe area with a nice dinner restaurant called Tabby House very close by. The breakfast area is very small and does not compare to the breakfast choices at similar hotels. The pillows in our room were not good. The room was clean but had a strange odor and was dated.

Desk staff were very perceptive as to my obvious mobility issue and changed my room from a higher gloor to a ground floir, also close to side door exit and parking. Room was spacious with large t.v. Room appeared clean. Location of motel was close to interstate and several shopping options.

Great stay, for the price. Not a 5 star hotel but pretty nice. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast is ok (no hot meat option). 30 min drive to Jekyll or st Simon islands. Staff was very nice and helpful.

The inside access to the room made the security of the room a positive experience for us. There was only one bar of soap for the room.

The room was clean and all things worked well. No elevator but we were fine with that. Would consider staying at the hotel again.

While on the Econolodge WiFi network, one of our iPads was hacked and the “find my phone” alarm was activated at around 2am, waking us up. Not sure yet if anything else was compromised.
