Very dated and uncomfortable

Second stay at the Clayton and would stay over and over. A really lovely place.

It’s not awful but certainly not great. Room smelt bad on arrival and was very warm. Rock hard pillows very warm quilts. Can’t open windows due to road noise. Like a down market Premier Inn.

Our stay was very nice apart from a particular male bar staff member who was quite rude to us when ordering drinks for our group of 10 at last orders.

Room was decent enough but radiator was making a bubbling noise all night. Had food in the onsite bar/restaurant. Terrible puts it mildly. I Had fish and chips and wife has tikka masala. Fish was that oily I could of rung it out. Wife's curry was full of water and had no taste. Complained to manager who offered me a pint as compensation. Laughable really!!

Good hotel with good facilities. Staff really friendly. Stayed at this hotel many times and will continue to use when visiting Leeds.

Excellent stay from start to finish, only " slight hiccup" being that the "hot breakfast" was infact a TEPID breakfast, but otherwise all good

Excellent Modern Bar dining area, breakfast was nice. Good central location, short walk to city center. Rooms a little tired but clean and comfy.

The hotel was wonderful and having on site parking was a bonus The walk into town was ok but I have a back injury so I found it was just a little too far to walk The breakfast was excellent and delicious

The price doesn't reflect the quality of the hotel. No discount was giving for the parking

Lovely clean modern hotel, great location

A well placed facility within an easy 5-10 minute walk to the centre. The room was spacious, clean and modern with excellent black out curtains for a great sleep and lie in. A comfortable sized wet room was en suite with a power shower and large sink. The fitness suite needs a little work. There are, for me, too many cardio machines and it misses an item for a heavy leg workout such as a leg press and leg curl. There’s a fair selection of dumbbells with two benches. We only stayed for breakfast but the choices were great with traditional English and continental options. The digital check in, key grab and check out was very convenient.

Incredible location for visiting Leeds city centre and the 2024 festival

Unfortunately, by the time I arrived at the hotel, their underground car park was full. However, the reception staff were brilliant, and had a guide to another car park just around the corner. They looked after my bags whilst I parked the car. Check in was also good. The room itself - the bed was great, it was very quiet and clean. The bathroom let things down a bit in my opinion; the toilet paper felt very cheap ply, the shower was just an un-moveable shower head above the bath and not very powerful - even on full power, the sink actually juts out into the space where you need to step in and out of the shower, and the shower - the temperature kept on fluctuating every minute or so - going cold and then coming back. Overall, I enjoyed the hotel and there’s plenty to recommend, but it just didn’t quite hit the mark on all fronts. A nice short walk into the city centre though, so that was good!

Nice clean hotel. Easy check in & out via email. Handy for Leeds city centre. Room only for two adults was £129 on a Sat night. Quiet room. Spacious king & single bed. Decent shower. Nice tea & coffee facilities with cartons of water & biscuits 😋. Only negative was £14 car parking. This could be reduced for hotel guests, surely? It was an unexpected extra cost, that perhaps i missed, so watch out for that. I would stay again though & recommend.

Loved our stay. We only stayed for one night and can't fault anything. We had absolutely everything we needed in the room, iron, hairdryer and tea/coffee etc. The room was clean. Outside our room the recently refurbished inkwell bar and library space were fantastic and really beautiful. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was a breeze. We will definitely be back!

Hotel staff were very helpful including assisting with getting me a parking space in the onsite parking garage. Could not fault anything during my visit.

Excellent hotel only 10 minutes walk from the station. On line check in meant that we received an email saying the room was available and hour before official check in. Great arrangements for leaving luggage whilst at events in the city.

Great hotel in great location with great staff but as ever let down by terrible showers.

Convenient, clean. Not far from town centre.

I was given a room right above the smoking area out front of the hotel. I was awaken at 5am by people put front smoking and chatting loudly with the cigarette smoke coming in through the window. At 0530am I finally rang the receptionist to ask to move them on or ask for them to be quiet. This never happened but luckily they left 15 minutes later. Did not sleep very well due to this.

We've checked in early for the receptionist was so considerate! We were given the room as requested. Good size and clean! No air cond and no fridge in the room. A supermarket is nearby. We had a lovely stay.

Stayed for 2 nights for an event at Millennium Square. This was a lovely hotel on the edge of the town centre. Asked for a quiet rooom and that is exactly what we got. The room was clean and in great condition. Staff were friendly and helpful. As someone who is gluten and lactose intolerant, this is one of the best hotels I have stayed at for choices at breakfast. There's no air-conditioning but the windows open and a fan was provided which was greatly appreciated. The only negatives were no fridge in the room and the pillows were way to hard, with no option a softer one. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area.
