Staff were very friendly and helpful. Humming from the generators was quite disturbing in the room (Room 235), especially at night! Not happy that dogs were allowed to sit on the chairs in the bar lounge! Having said all this, we would come back.

We spent a night,.it was okay for us. Location wise very nice, we had sea view room which was nice.

Only downside is the restrictions on parking!

We had such a lovely stay fistral beach hotel Newquay, Cornwall last night 💙 The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The bed was very comfortable, we had an excellent night sleep. I also loved that in the bathroom, you had Gaia products to use. They smelt amazing! We used the hotel pool and spa facilities 3 times on our night stay it was open daily 6am-10pm which is brilliant. We had an afternoon swim and late night swim. This morning, I went for an early morning swim whilst my husband popped out for a surf before breakfast. The pool was to tranquil, and the perfect temperature when dipping in and out of the hottub, sauna, and steam room. 😌 We went to the Bay Bar for drinks yesterday evening. The decor was amazing and excellent service. And then this morning, we had breakfast in The Dune it was one of the best cooked breakfasts I have ever had alongside continental options 😋 Overall, we had an amazing stay, and we will definitely be back. 🌊🏨💙

We had a fabulous stay. The hotel's location on a hill overlooking a beautiful beach was fantastic. There were plenty of walking paths and scenic overlooks in the area to enjoy. The warm welcome provided by amazing staff especially our hosts in Dune, the topnotch onsite restaurant, was outstanding. My husband and I look forward to our return.

The hotel in general was good, i booked it because it had a spa, we was out everyday and all i wanted was to come back and use the spa, that didn't happen as the spa only open 10 till 5pm, ridiculous. Ive stayed in spa hotels before and the spa is open till 8pm, i was very disapointed that i had paid £2200.00 for a week and wasnt able to use the spa. In the room the bed was comfortable, but the pillow was as hard as bricks it made my ear sore, spoken with other guest who all said the same. Breakfast was delightful, fabulous sea views, sarah and neil are an asset to the hotel what two lovely people went out of there way to make sure your experience was good .evening meal unfortunately was just ok and very over priced we paid £140 for 2 starters 2 main and a bottle of wine hence we only went in the one time. Where the hotel is situated on the esplanade its a 30 min walk into the town centre or an £8 to £10 taxi ride each way, we didn't feel safe in the town either, other guest said the same too.

I’ll start with pros of this hotel; - views are amazing - house keeping fantastic - brilliant hotel gym - carpark spaces are always available - Comfy beds Items not for improvement - Reception not very welcoming - I added an extra night on to my stay, staff complained that they had to look up Expedia to match the current rate. The tone was unprofessional - Breakfast wasn’t a relaxed atmosphere.

Feedback: make the Cream tea available throughout the day - not just between 12 and 5 pm, increased range of food choices to cater for halal dietary requirements for breakfast and room service, portion sizes for certain room service items are too small - poor value for money, consider extending breakfast service until 11.30am. Provide a bigger range for floatation support devices in the pool area. Spa treatments were quite expensive. Overall I enjoyed a very pleasant and relaxing stay. All Staff were courteous and efficient. The Gaia products were refreshing. The shower pressure was rejuvenating. Room cleanliness standards were consistently high. Easy availability of robes and towels in the room and spa area is fantastic.

Outstanding! Room was perfect, food was absolutely amazing, possibly the best we have ever had and best of all, ever single service member was absolutely brilliant but Neil & Noah in the restaurant was absolutely outstanding and a real asset to the business.

This was our second visit to Fistral hotel and it was just as good this time as we remembered the first time. The food is always so good, the breakfast totally worth the price, the hotel itself is lovely, has a chilled vibe and perfect views of the beach. But most of all the staff are so attentive, nothing is too much trouble, everyone is so friendly & seem so happy to be there. Best hotel we’ve ever stayed in by far! Can’t wait to go back again !!!

The hotel stay was amazing just the relaxing break we needed. Of course location was beautiful looking out at the beach and waves was beautiful. ALL the staff were helpful polite and couldn’t do enough for you there was not one single person who I thought could have been better. I’d say outstanding customer care.

Great location, good room, nice staff. Location - incredible. The beach is a 5 minute walk, there’s a gorgeous cafe on the way (SeaSpray). Pentire point, Fistral Beach Bar, The Stable (pizza) are all a 15/20 minute walk. Then the centre of the town is 30mins ish. Room - 8/10, the overall room was great but there were a few small details that stopped it being a 10/10, like the remote was dirty, the TV was old, the shower pressure was naff, the fridge didn’t turn on and the bathroom window didn’t shut Spa - simple but lovely. There was a sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and lush pool. Hotel bar - staff were lovely, it’s a nice space to hang out in.

Really nice Hotel. Staff great, great breakfast and a really good spar and swimming pool. However, Service charge added to all bar and restaurant bills and very confusing on the bill. I prefer to leave a tip in cash!

Had a great weekend here. All staff is really nice and very professional. Food was good. Location is perfect and sea view from the rooms is wonderful. Would definitely suggest booking treatments early on. The spa has relatively little staff and outside visitors will book treatments too so weekends are particularly busy. Same goes for the restaurant. There is another hotel next door which is for families and part of the same company so during the holidays you can expect more tired parents visit the spa from the other hotel. Parking can also be challenging and the car park seems to be have more spaces just after breakfast when many guests venture out. Overall though a very pleasant stay in a well run hotel. Nice rooms, comfortable beds and spa treatments were surprisingly good too. Can't complain at all.

Great hotel and great view.

Ummm it was okay ! We arrived to a full car park and nowhere to park, which was stressful after traveling, then at check in told breakfast was fully booked until 10.30am, and a £50 refundable deposit was required! My robe also had a stain on! And the bed was not very comfortable! Apart from the few small issues, was a lovely place to stay! Not sure I would return.
