Room for the 5 of us easily and with all we needed and price was good

Absolutely excellent stay! Everything exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect, right on the best part of the beach on the island. The accommodation was wonderful, super clean and spacious. Excellent facilities. Comfy sun loungers. Wonderful helpful staff. So pleased we chose to stay here on Hilton Head Island!

We really enjoyed our stay at Royal Dunes! The condo was the perfect size for our family of six. Beds were comfortable, condo was clean, and we never heard a peep from any of our neighbors. The kids loved using the pool and hot tub! And the proximity to the beach (five minute walk) was incredible. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location, big unit and staff was very friendly and helpful.

We have traveled with our kids quite a bit the last couple years and have never been treated so graciously. We felt like we were family there with staff, and the way they brought other families together for events at the pool area really set this place apart from all other places we’ve stayed. Our condo was clean. There are many improvements going on around the property and talking with the manager you can tell he is very passionate about making royal dunes a wonderful place. All communication was prompt and friendly. My mom traveled with us and uses a walker to get around and we requested special accommodations before our arrival. They have beach chairs and boogie boards to borrow and we loved that! It’s about a 5min easy walk to the beach (it’s across the street!). We drove my mom to the beach parking lot though, and if you forget your handicap pass, bring quarters for meter parking! It’s for a good cause. We also rented bikes that were dropped off at the resort and loved riding around the royal plantation area or to Paris Baguette for coffee and pastries. We just loved this place and really plan on coming back. The only thing is didn’t love (and I hate saying this) is out of the 4 beds in our rental the one was not super great, which happened to be ours. Everyone else had great beds, my kids did not want to leave. If we could bring our dogs we’d move in! Thank you Tyler and staff for an amazing week celebrating my mom’s birthday!

Nice, clean and well-furnished condo unit with nice pools and rec center. Staff was very pleasant; activities were plentiful, and the location was very convenient to Islanders Beach. Sad that the tennis club across from the property was being taken down.

We loved our stay at Royal Dunes Resort! It was so convenient to the beach and other activities. The grounds were amazingly quiet and everyone was very friendly…especially Cookie who gave out flavor ice at the pool! Thank you and we would definitely stay here again!

We loved the stay at this resort. Islander's Beach was just a few minutes walk away and was less crowded compared to Coligny. The resort also had some activities planned throughout the week which made it stand out compared to some other resorts where we've stayed. The staff were super friendly and made your stay even better! We're definitely planning our next trip here!

Great great stay. Exactly as advertised.

Had another great stay here at this resort. The rooms are large and have everything you need. The employees are wonderful and communicate well. The only thing i wish they could have is more pools as the pool area gets full quick

Quiet.....Cozy community.....Nice condo with plenty of room in a very convenient location......

This is a great place to stay! Most people own their condos so not a lot of travelers. There is a pool for “babies” and both pools are heated. The condo was really nice and spacious.

Loved having 3 beds & 3 baths. Close to the beach. So quiet, peaceful & safe. They have a breakfast Mondays & wine tasting on Wednesdays to meet other people staying there. It was a GREAT value for our family & wonderful people!

We had a wonderful stay! The property was immaculately clean.

The property is dated but clean and the grounds are very well kept. The inside of the condo was suitable for the price point and location (near the beach). However, the bed was very uncomfortable and the temperature settings were off per room. Cold in the main areas while sweltering in the bedrooms and vice versa. Check-in was smooth and staff very welcoming. Checking out not good at all. When I noticed our card was billed twice for the entire stay I called back an hour after checkout. The attendant (male) at the front desk was extremely rude impatient and hung up the phone abruptly. Only to have to call back and apologize for their error. If you're looking for a clean place at a good price, this could be your spot.

Great place to stay across the street from Islander Beach Park.

This was our first visit to Royal Dunes, but our second time staying on Wimbeldon. We like the area because it is close to the beach and relatively quiet. The property was very nice - I really don't think spatially you could ask for more! 2 large king sized bedrooms and one smaller room with 2 twin beds. Plus three full bathrooms! The kitchen area was spacious and everything was clean. Also one of the bathrooms has a jacuzzi tub! The pool is a little small but we felt it met our needs and we liked that they provided pool towels! One item to note is that beach chairs (chairs you can take to the beach - not pool chairs) are on a first come first serve basis. I speculate that most guests just take them for the duration of their trip and are not returning them nightly like they are supposed to so they were not available during our trip on any day so we purchased some at the local store. Overall, this property was wonderful! Clean, plenty of room and a great location. Staff interactions were always nice as well! I could not ask for anything more!

The Royal Dunes property is beautiful , well kept and just a pleasurable experience for senior citizens looking for a nice location to relax and enjoy the ambiance of the ocean life style . We appreciate Audrey , Debbie , Marion , and all of the people that work at the property . It is a team effort to make everyone feel at " home " at their home away from home . We try to visit at least once a year.

It was spacious and affordable.

I enjoyed my stay. There was nothing I needed. The staff was very helpful for anything that was requested. All amenities were provided. Only thing missing was me spending more time at the property. Excellent stay. Would recommend to families it has everything you need👍

Excellent property

I liked the walking path to beach boardwalk. It was great having a bathroom at end of boardwalk. Smart idea to have beach chairs too!

Check in could have been a better experience. Wifi was not explained well. Tight parking spaces.

Nice location and friendly staff

Convenient to beach.

Very close to the beach. The unit was one of the cleanest we’ve ever stayed at. We were really impressed. The place was spotless. The staff was very helpful when we got locked out. They were there in minutes to let us back in. This property is very dated compared to some others and could use a facelift. Other than the pool, we didn’t find much in the way of amenities. Maybe not the place for people staying with teens or young adults. There is an area with grills but it is quite weathered and not too inviting. It’s a shame bc the property is very clean and well kept otherwise. I do wish there were more pots and pans for cooking and some more items in the kitchen but we’ll know to bring our own next time. Overall, it is a comfortable stay. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are large.

Sad to see the tennis centre closed. Deteriorating staircases leading to units. Unit itself was in good condition with all the condiments and sundries above satisfactory. Need to consider repairs .

Overall giid experience. Property itself is a little dated. However it is as its marketed and was very comfortable.
