We had a very nice stay. Room was spacious and really enjoyed our time at the pool, food at poolside cafe was also very good.

This is a beautiful property right on the ocean. The staff could not be more friendly or accommodating. We had a wonderful time staying in our beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bath condo with ocean and pool views from our balcony!

Excellent service and diverse experience programs. The dishwasher and coffee machine were dirty.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ocean Oak Resort. The suite was super clean and looked like it was brand new. Very large open space included full kitchen, dining, living room. 2 large bedrooms with comfortable beds and 2 large bathrooms. We had an ocean view suite and could see the ocean clearly from the bedroom, living room and of course, from the large balcony. John showed us to our room and helped with the luggage. He was super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Our only complaint would be the staff at the onsite restaurant seemed to want to avoid helping guest. The first night they told us the kitchen was closed even through it was at least and hour before scheduled closing time. I went down for breakfast the next morning and there was no one there to take my order, other people were sitting there eating their food so I know they were open. My wife and her sister were finally able to get lunch there, but said the staff seemed unfriendly. I highly recommend this property for a Hilton Head vacation. Just avoid the onsite restaurant and you should have a great stay!

The front staff was always welcoming and the concierge was informative and always seemed to want to help - was genuinely interested in what we thought about areas we visited - even spoke to us during one of her breaks outside. The pools were very clean and a good size, never over-crowded. The beach access was close; games available to play such as corn hole and ping pong, activities for kids on certain days. The room was very spacious, clean and the beds were so comfortable! Property seemed very safe and quiet later in the evening; needed room key to enter the elevator located in parking garage. Only 2 complaints for me - food was not the greatest and only had the pool restaurant, so we ate out or made our own food most of the time; and we didn't get room service daily due to the fact we only stayed 4 nights, but they were very good about picking up dirty towels and bringing new ones to our door.

Rained the entire time we were there but our two bedroom was great. 6 people - tons of room. Great bathrooms. Loved the free DVD rental.

Pros: spacious, clean, great to hunker down. Cons: no locks on bedroom and bathroom doors, so very little privacy.

Great location on the island and lovely view of the ocean. Unit was very large, plenty of space for our group. Unit was relatively clean but the floors were pretty dirty. Parking was fine in the off-season but I imagine would be challenging in the summer.

Everything was wonderful about this property from the staff, the huge room, the pool and hot tub and the bar and grill. Beach access was so convenient! This property is officially a 3 star but looked and felt like a 4 star!

The resort is prob even more beautiful than the photos. Went mid Sept so the area was not crowded. Very wide beach at that part of the island. The balcony is wonderful and the view of the resort is beautiful even tho we did not have a full ocean view. We would definitely return. Only issue we had since we were on the first floor was we could hear other units flushing the toilet at night - loud enough that I finally had to wear ear plugs after being waked up several times.

Beautiful low key condo oceanfront. Visited with family of 6. We have 4 kids ages 6,8,11 and 13. Great full kitchen and washer and dryer. Would highly recommend. We spend day at Westin because visiting my sister who has a family wedding there. The Westin was more of a resort many restaurants. Rooms were pretty small at Westin and much busier place. Was happy with our decision to stay at the Hilton grand vacations.

Furnishings old. The couch smelled. We had to wear shoes in our room because the bottom of our feet were black from the floor. Only 1 employee worked food/bar counter and it closed too early. Won't stay again.
