We enjoyed our stay, but wish the dryer worked

Beautiful view! All the furnishings were excellent and had the exact amount of refrigeration for 16 people (2 & 1/2). Perfect for multi-family vacation with lots of children.

It was nice

It starts and end with the view. 4 of the 5 bedrooms are located on the back of the house so you can see the beach. The house is perfect for hosting larger families. The open kitchen made a perfect gathering spot for cooking and enjoying meals. The beach boardwalk was only a few short steps away. Didn't get a chance to check out the community pool because we were always at the beach. We would love to come back and visit again.

Like a previous review I read about this home,I too was misled to believe that we were going to have access to the elevator. We paid the required fee and I even called the week before to insure that it would be working for us. I was assured that it would be. When we arrived there was no key to turn it on. Over the course of the next three days I placed 5 phone calls to the management service and was given the run around. On our last day there I spoke with someone at the Silver Sands management group named Cheryl who actually sent someone out to turn it on for us. Still waiting for my refund for the elevator fee. Our group included an 85 year old with knee replacement. Ridiculously poor management service. Too bad because the house is lovely. Would definitely stay there again if I knew the elevator would be on

Bathroom need update

Our stay was great with a couple of exceptions. First, the youngest person in our party was 58 years old. We chose the site due to the size and the fact that it contained an elevator to navigate the three stories. We had talked with Silver Sands roughly a week prior to our arrival about the elevator and were told they would make sure that it was turned on for us. Our stay ended with no working elevator as "the owner" needed two weeks t get the key. Totally unacceptable on our part. The second was the golf cart rental. We were led to believe that the carts were located right on the property. Much to our surprise, they were roughly three miles away down highway 61, which you are not allowed to drive the carts on. So, we had rented from the arrival date through the Friday that we were leaving. We had them delivered the next morning and then received a call about when we wanted them picked up. Although we never talked to the rental group, they were picked up while we were out on Thursday afternoon prior to 4:00 p.m.

We had 10 teens and 4 moms and stayed for 4 nights and the house accommodated is easily and comfortably. The house is even better in person than the pictures convey! The two spacious masters on the top floor were over the top with their own baths and private balconies. The main floor bedroom and bath was also fantastic and had access to the long second floor balcony. All the mattresses were great too! Downstairs was a great space for the teens to hang out with many beds and a big couch. The house was well appointed with pots, pans, utensils, and a good selection of spices and such. The views from this house are amazing. Even if the beach is busy you really can’t tell from the house, you just see the dunes and the water, very serene. It’s conveniently located near the boardwalk for easy access to the beach and is a short 5min drive into Port A. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again if I have the need for a larger property.
