This hotel, is overall a great place. Staffing was super helpful!

My only complaint is the breakfast wasn't all that great.

Some of the dishes in the room were not clean, and we were greeted by a rather large roach of sorts, probably a water bug in the bathroom.

Breakfast was punctual. Location was just off I-40 in Cary. Pretty busy, but most road noise was blocked out. Clean. New property, obviously.

Compared to breakfast at other H2S properties, this was lacking. Hot bar was good. No fresh fruit selection. Staff seemed to be watching the clock for 0900 so they could shut down the bar. After-breakfast/after-hours coffee in the lobby was generally not recently brewed. Four obvious drug addicts were housed on the same floor for a couple of nights, and there appeared to be drug-trafficking along the upper road toward McDonalds. (Vehicles with no plates that would mysteriously be gone by dawn; a parked truck/trailer which would periodically flash brake lights - signaling buyers.)

The breakfast selection was minimum but they offered the best. We arrived 2 hours early than our check in and was offered to pay $25 to check in earlier or wait. Wasn't quite happy about that business decision making considering the room was all ready and we just drove 8 hours.

the rooms were extremely nice, all of the appliances were brand new and full-sized. the staff were extremely nice, especially Liz.

I really don't have any complaints, the hotel is very nice.

Very close to the Arena and horse complex. An excellent breakfast with healthy options. Breakfast staff was amazing, trying to ensure everything was perfect.

very disappointed that housekeeping is a complementary service only every 4 days! While this seems to be a post-COVID trend in the hotel industry due to staffing shortages among other reasons, it meant that people were putting their trash in the hallways. One of the pleasures of traveling is having a clean bathroom, a freshly made bed, fresh towels and trash that is not overflowing. Housekeeping could be requested, but with 24 hour notice.
