This retro hotel was in a great location 5 mins from the station - so convenient arriving and leaving by train. Groovy and sweet train theme - particularly in the breakfast area with the train booths, luggage racks and much train memorabilia. All the staff were lovely, warm and welcoming. They were responsive to my request for a high floor, I had a great view across to the station. It was well soundproofed and I could open the windows during the day for fresh air and photos. 24 hour reception. Free coffee/hot drinks/cold water machine 24 hours.

I can’t think of anything much that I didn’t like. The bathroom was a bit dated (but in keeping with the train theme). Of course Amsterdam accommodation is very generally expensive compared to other cities - that’s just a fact of life there.

El espacio muy reducido e incomodo para acomodar las maletas, las camas regularmente comodas

La ubicación es perfecta se puede ir caminando a todos lados para llegar del aeropuerto o del tren es súper fácil y al llegar pudimos dejar las maletas pues llegamos temprano y nos recibieron con cafecito y todos fueron muy atentos.

Todo fue perfecto.

Hotel proche de la gare, très bien situé pour la visite de la ville mais aussi pour les excursions à l extérieur. Location de vélos à proximité ainsi que commerces et restaurants. Petit déjeuner simple mais efficace. Les collaborateurs très sympas font de gros efforts pour communiquer en français

Excelente ubicación, está a 500 metros de la estación central de Ámsterdam. En cuanto al ruido externo sin problema se puede descansar, no se oye a la gente ni a los trenes (la habitación daba a la estación). Avise que de la celiaquía y me surtieron productos sin gluten. En recepción y en el desayuno el personal muy amable, siempre con predisposición ayudar y a que la estancia fuera lo más agradable. Un plus llegar a cualquier hora y surtirte de agua, café, chocolate...

Realmente no hay nada nos disgustará.

Everything was perfect, from the magical train atmosphere to the always smiling staff. The breakfast is also very good with fresh products. The rooms are very cozy.

All the staff are very friendly & informal. They go out of the way to help and make the stay comfortable. Allowed us to have breakfast when we were waiting for room to get ready. Check in was smooth and the Manager at the reception ensured that we got the room earlier than normally allowed. The trains themed lounge/ breakfast area is very interesting

Approach to the hotel is a problem due roadworks. Passengers cannot disembark from taxi in front of the hotel

Perfect location and helpful friendly staff.

Breakfast was really good. The drinks machine was open all day. The staff were really kind and helpful. They arranged a taxi for us. We loved the quirky nature of the hotel which was quite unique. Railway enthusiasts could spend hours studying all the photos and railway memorabilia. I would definitely recommend it for the friendly atmosphere and great location. Great value for money.

Het is een heerlijk hotel met een super lief personeel Zo gastvrij. Alles klopte. Het heeft ons verblijf in Amsterdam nog fijner gemaakt Ik kijk er ook weer enorm naar uit om weer te gaan Volgend jaar gaan we weer terug naar dit heerlijke hotel
