It was a good stay...I booked a Quad Room (twin double bed) breakfast was complimentary Visited in Monsoon season August month. Cleanliness: 4/5 Comfort: 5/5 Food: 4/5

Didn't get a chance to do a complete review.

The property didn't ask for any advance at the time of reservation but as soon as reservation was confirmed started to ask for a deposit. On showing up at the property we were informed that since we didn't do any advance payment the room is subject to availability and the place was fully booked. They didn't care if you did your bookings using any booking platform all they asked for deposit. The staff though courteous but started the blame game. In the end I left looking for another place to stay. It was evening and raining and the hill station was crowded so we struggled to find another place. It's actually a way to attract guests where they don't mention anything about initial deposit at the time of booking but afterwards keep sending you personal texts asking for money. Very poor attitude. Will never recommend or visit it in future even though i will be visiting the town frequently for the next five years atleast.

The view ....!!!! It is close to the mall road ... And did I say the view..!

The location, rooms, and restaurant was very good 😊 wish they had pizza available during our stay! The breakfast was simple healthy and filling! The staff helps you with getting cabs/2 wheeler rentals for the duration of your stay! We had done our reasearch too on the same and found a marginal cost difference between directly booking and going through the resort. The spa had a 1+1 discount running and was good but not great... The problem was with facilities, shower was broken and sauna kept going on and off due to power cuts. The massage itself was good.

The balconies should have the green nets so monkeys don't come into the balconies. They pooped all over the sit out at night and we couldnot use it in the morning to have our coffee as soon as we got up. It was also disheartening to see plastic strewn in the forest area adjacent to the resort (visible from balconies)

The Chalet (Room 114) here is fantastic. Huge. More than enough for our family of 4. Great view from the room. Clean, well-maintained. The food at SBTW is also very good, and their Pantry/Kitchen staff, especially Mr Karan, are very responsive. The staff that cleaned the room was also courteous and did their job well.

The front lawn facing the valley is too small for the large number of guests. Guests end up crowding the lawn like a railway platform. The lawn is also poorly maintained, it has almost no grass. Our intercom wasn't working and the Reception staff had no idea. The staff in supervising roles were lazy. Our room was clean, but the premises were not so clean. Considering the charges, 25K per night, the resort fell very short of expectations. The Chalet (our room), and the food, was good. The rest was ordinary and disappointing.

Its an amazing property. Worth every penny spent. the location is amazing. Away from the mall road bustle but still very close to reach anywhere you want to. If you’re driving on your own it’s the best place because you can get parking too. Prompt service, great breakfast and amazing staff. Plus you get heated up rooms too. The view is to die for. The rooms are cozy. Loved being here and would definitely stay here again.

Nothing to be disliked.
