Très bon rapport qualité prix, calme, le personnel au top, et la vie depuis la piscine

Franchement pas grand chose à redire

L emplacement semble très bien même si nous n avons pas eu le temps d explorer les alentours. Petit Centre commercial dispo sur place et musée national du Kenya à 2 pas. La piscine est chauffée et dispose d une vue magnifique sur Nairobi !

L appartement est très beau car tout neuf et Les équipements ont l air bien de prime abord mais en fait c est bourré de malfaçon. Comme c est neuf ça ne se voit pas trop mais ça risque de très mal vieillir : 12 eme étage et pas possible de fermer la porte fenêtre du balcon (avec des enfants en bas âge c est pas terrible), odeur de moisi dans tous les sanitaires, moisissures déjà présentes et équipements non opérationnel (machine à laver, lampes de chevet ). Serviettes jamais dispo à la piscine.

I stayed here with my family last month in a 2-bdr apartment for 4 nights (Thu-Sun) on the 13th floor. The apt itself was immaculate with very high quality furnishings, beddings, etc. I have family in Nairobi, so the apt was mainly for a good night's sleep in a clean and comfortable environment.

The only reason I have not given 5 stars is because of the LOUD noise and music at night from the roof top bar which went on on all nights we were there (yes, Thu night as well!!!) - to past 3am! This is really unacceptable for residents who are paying premium prices to stay at the Residency. Not having a good and rested night's sleep really defeats the purpose of staying here. The management should really look into rectifying this, and make sure the comfort of the residents is top priority. Else, people will start looking elsewhere to stay.

The view was spectacular. The place was clean and and very relaxing.

The room is amazing and the staff are supremely helpful and attentive. The hotel is well located, with beautiful views and a heated swimming pool.

They could have had a hairdryer in the room and the quality of the food in the restaurant could have been better.

The Broadwalk Residency is a great place for both families and solo travelers who seek peace and an all-inclusive type of accomodation. 1. Security: There are multiple sentries at the initial point of entry and there are more once you enter the facility.  They are sharp and they recognize who belongs and who doesn't. Your key card will grant you access to your floor as well as your apartment.  2. COMFORT: You will find your apartment to be highly sanitized and beautiful.  While in Nairobi, I choose to stay at Broadwalk both before and after my trip to the coast.  I had the advantage of staying in two different apartments on two different floors. The experience was the same.  There was a balcony accessible from both the living room and the master bedroom.  There was a full kitchen on both occasions.  There's a half bathroom as soon as you enter and a wonderful full bathroom attached to the master suite.  3. AMENITIES: The lobby level, located on the 5th floor contains a well equipped gym.  And they have a knowledgeable personal trainer who can improve your techniques and also coach you towards reaching a particular goal if that's your desire.  There's also a heated pool on the same floor.  From the 5th floor you can also walk a few steps and use the elevator to access the mall which has a grocery store that will have everything you could possibly need.  There are two restaurants on the 5th floor.  I only ate at the Indian themed restaurant because it was so great for me.  On the 15th floor, you will find the Blue Martini.  This venue is open 24 hours and there's a different event there every evening from live bands to concerts.  You will find yourself there and the food and drinks are awesome.  Security, comfort, entertainment, and great food. The westlands is a great place for tourists to get used to being in Nairobi.  Broadwalk gets it right.  I will stay here again once I return. 

Towels. I had a room booked for two and I was sometimes left with one towel from the facility and there aren't "face towels" as I was accustomed to, so I purchased my own.

Everything about the apartment is great! New, clean , modern, spacious and well located. Excellent gym !

The staff behaviour on the first night when he tried to fleece me off with $60 for a extra bed sheet and duvet for a child who was sleeping on the living room couch. Spoke to the manager next day and she sorted it out and provided it to us complimentary as it should be but really left a bad taste in the mouth.

Location, beautiful apartment and facilities

Still a work in progress. The television was not connected to the cable service, the phone was not connected to the front desk. I think I was the first person to stay in that apartment.

Very modern, bright and spacious

There was a string sewage smell from one of the bathrooms so we had to use the other one.

Really roomy and nice apartment, comfortable and clean, well located, staff is helpful and polite. Good value for money with reduced price (offer) I got. Handy to have the mall below.

Breakfast buffet is very basic. They asked for a deposit for the apartment besides the rental price and did not cover exchange rate fluctuation despite me asking for this (they said they would). I also left some toiletry which could unfortunately not be found or returned (disappointing). The restaurant on the last floor turna into club at night so can be noisy (especially when residing on the higher floors).

Impeccable finish on the interiors, incredibly polite, patient and helpful staff. Honestly can’t fault the aesthetics of the place - incredibly comfortable beds, the rooms are really very high spec, immaculately clean, and the pool was brilliant too - clean, easy to access, small section just for kids, and free to use with private seating/shaded areas at the side. We ordered takeaway in the evening and it was delivered smoothly, with everything we needed in the apartment to feel like home from home. Netflix and other on-demand TV apps were accessible (using our own account details), and little details like the bath robes and slippers, wine glasses, toiletries tea&coffee, and washing machine and washing up facilities made it really handy. The only thing I needed was wine!! 😜 Breakfast and all staff who were involved in it were really great too …and everyone was very polite about my semi-feral children from start to finish which I really appreciated! Booking error issue upon check-in meant waiting over half an hour to get access to a room (with 2 young kids going wild it was less than ideal!) but room was worth it in the end and the staff were very apologetic, kind and helpful. Teething troubles perhaps, but there was an awful smell of drains/sewerage in half our apartment on 14th floor. No real problem for us as we just shut the door and shared room/bed in the remaining (huge!!) apartment space, but I think this needs some attention. Location: the noise of neighbouring nightclub kept loud music going until gone 2am (even on a Sunday night). The bed was so comfortable that my kids slept through it as we were all exhausted from travelling, but others may find this frustrating. Possibly avoid by choosing/requesting a lower floor? Few small teething issues, but such good value & vibe that we still hope to stay again (if this review doesn’t veto us!!).

The thing I liked the most was the food at the vegetarian restaurant in lobby 5th floor.

I thought that the lift situation was poor. There are only two lifts and sometimes you have to wait for a long time to get a lift.

It’s a new build, with friendly staff, in a great location with amazing views and fantastic facilities - supermarket and restaurants in the building.

There’s a night club on the top floor and either it or the apartments aren’t well sound proofed so you can hear thumping bass till 5am most nights. Also, being new, the apartment had lots of minor snags eg: - Curtains were missing (which the staff sorted quickly), - Some doors didn’t closing properly - The internet is slow (because some residents download excessively) - the Wi-Fi doesn’t reach all areas of the apartment due to the heavy wall construction - not all the facilities were up and running eg pool bar I believe the management will address all the little things but I’m not sure there are any plans to do anything about the noise.

No eggs for breakfast, its purely vegetarian which was ok but we weren't told beforehand, AC was finicky and low power

very friendly security guards , assited us fron arrival and always respectfull

the dstv was not stable and some constructions right out if my window which distracted my morning sleep also access to the pool was restricted after some hours

Great accommodation in a great location. Staff were amazing! I liked that drinking water was provided and liked the amenities. Spacious and clean! Loved that the mall was accessible from the Carpark which had a Pharmacy, Supermarket and other shops.

There were some teething issues as the apartments have only been open for 6 weeks or so. some remained unsolved.
