My family enjoyed a wonderful week at this property. The location is handy for any destination in the Des Moines metro area as the freeway is just a couple blocks away. There are several grocery stores, bakery, coffee shops, even a playground, within a 6 block radius and the neighborhood is safe and walkable. The house is great for use by several generations (we had grandma, adult children & grandchildren) because there are multiple living areas. It was absolutely spotless and we found a large basket of snacks upon arrival! We will definitely return!!

House was very clean, check-in was easy, and plenty of room for the family.

It would have been more than enough to stay in a place that checked the boxes - clean, near points of interest, comfortable, nice neighborhood. What makes this place special are the personal touches. A variety of snacks that seem to be the ones you want. The decorations that show a pride in Des Moines and Iowa. A selection of name brand amenities. Sheets and towels soft to the touch. And much more! All of this is due to the owner, Miriam, who made us feel welcome. It's obvious that she cared about making our stay special. I'm guessing she feels that way about all of her quests. I don't rend to "firewall" 5 stars. This place deserved the ratings. I would happily stay here again. I highly recommend you choose this home for your visit to Des Moines!

We were in town for our son’s graduation from Iowa State University. Our stay was phenomenal. The house was perfect and our host was amazing. The house is very clean, spacious and very well appointed. We were traveling as a family with 6 adults and the house allowed the three couples their own bedrooms and bathrooms! Our host thought of everything She even left homemade cookies decorated in Iowa State colors congratulating us on our Son’s graduation. We highly recommend this location for anyone visiting the Des Moines area!!

The house was just as advertised - maybe even better. Very clean and well stocked and the neighborhood was quiet. Made it easy for us to spend a long weekend visiting family and going to the Drake relays. The weekend itself was interrupted a little with tornado warnings but the house had a very nice basement to hang out in while we waited for the storms to pass and fortunately nothing was very close. Would definitely recommend and we plan stay again next time we are in town!

Our (growing) family gathered in Des Moines for Christmas and were really pleased with this home. The owner was quick to respond to questions. Will definitely keep it in mind for future trips to Iowa.

Our family was in town for a memorial service, and we had such a lovely stay here. All of the beds were extremely comfortable, each living area had its own bathroom, the hosts left amazing and sweet snacks for our enjoyment, and the living room with the fireplace was just so cozy and such a lovely place to hang out. Thank you for an amazing stay! Highly recommend.

House was very clean and organized. We had no problem finding everything we needed. Host was great and accommodating. We will be keeping this on our places to stay when we visit Iowa again. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice, clean place to stay. Area was also nice and quiet.

We stayed here for a family get-together and this place was a great home base for our needs (5 adults and 2 kids). Plenty of parking, easy access, multiple TVs and space for everyone to spread out a bit, handy provided snacks held us over on the first night. It was a comfy backdrop to a fun trip! Plus, one of the kids left a tablet behind and the host was very helpful in reuniting us with it.

The home had plenty of space, everything we needed plus more was there. Check in and out process was very smooth and easy. The home was very clean and super comfortable. Top Notch!

We had a great time. The house is so clean and had everything we would need or wanted. We came up to go to the state fair and had a great time there.

One of the very best properties I've stayed in, and our good experience started before we ever set foot in the place. We had a scheduling issue with our trip, and the host was very prompt and accommodating in adjusting our booking, and very responsive during our stay as well. The house is updated, immaculate and situated in a quiet neighborhood, with good parking and plenty of space inside. We didn't have an opportunity to use the kitchen, but it looked to be well-equipped and included lots of great snacks (of which we did avail ourselves). It's located just a short jaunt to the Waveland Cafe and Maccabee's Deli (get the pastrami), and a bit further to a lot more shopping and services. It's also not far off Interstate 235, allowing access to all the other cool stuff Des Moines has to offer. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

The property is exactly as described . The beds were vey comfortable . They had amenities for our use all through the home including snacks and coffee pods . Would book again !

Absolutely thrilled with this property and host! Great community, cafe within walking distance for breakfast. Home was beautiful and comfortably fit our entire group. Host had fast communication about any questions we had.

We loved this small but great home. It was clean and reasonably equipped (although we would suggest adding a frying pan and chopping knives to the kitchen) which made our stay nice and easy. The Wi-Fi was great here too! The neighbor hood was quiet which meant we were not disturbed at night and the beds were comfortable. Our host also left an excellent selection of complimentary snacks which were perfect after a 6 hour drive! Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Des Moines x
