The apartment was super clean, stylish, and wonderfully well equipped. We made a full meal, relaxed in front of the huge TV, played fun card games (they're in the drawer of the dining table), and slept soundly in the blackout-shuttered bedrooms. It was the perfect stop-off before travelling onwards to the Netherlands.

Anyone who has read the reviews will know that the apartment is at the top of three steep flights of stairs. It wasn't a problem for us, just something to be aware of. We found it a little tricky to get into the lock box outside the main door - make sure you press the buttons on both sides (not just the side visible to you as you approach it).

Beautifully appointed apartment on the top floor of a 3 storey building in Calais close to anything you would need. It was very clean and comfortable, the host was very welcoming.

How many stairs to climb. No issues for us but older people may struggle.

Location was great, nice and close to the ferry terminal for our trip back to the UK. Communication was great with the owner and she made some great recommendations for activities and restaurants. Nice touches, like a welcome drink in the fridge on arrival. Beautifully presented.

Very well designed and thoughtfully laid out apartment. It was incredibly clean and comfortable. The huge TV was a great touch!

The 3 flights of stairs up were difficult for my mother so it would have been useful to know this in advance.
