Bathroom was spotless but Showering was problematic as water wasn’t hot enough

Excellent Value for money . Good to have use of hotel facilities. Good sized apartment . Close to centre of town and easy access to seafront . Could easily sleep 6. Great space for a weekend getaway for couples or family . Hassle free check in and parking . Reduced rate £27 per day . Generally a great stay despite some maintenance issues that could be easily improved.

The shower was very slow and a bit awkward to use safely. The sharp cornered glass shelves protrude dangerously .. watch your head . I hit mine and it bled. Not enough toilet paper . Bathroom towels looked stained old and smelt bad..with the texture of sandpaper. Apartment was very warm .. and couldn’t work out controls.. carpet in lounge needs replacing ugly stain in the middle . Wet washing in the machine . Mattress in bedroom very uncomfortable and twangy springs. Lumpy hollow fibre duvet ..had a very hot night . Didn’t want to use the ceiling fan as when we arrived a bulb was hanging by a wire . I put it back into its socket it sparked and popped. Be aware ! Maybe call an electrician . All easy fixes.

Great location, right by the sea front.. located on the 6th floor of the Hilton Hotel. clear instructions on how to find the apartment were sent prior to arriving including YouTube videos so we had no issues there. loved that we could use the Hilton's pool etc. we had terrible weather so made use of this both mornings for something to do. the apartment was spacious and well equipped. overall the apartment was very clean. It's very spacious and was perfect for our 2 night break.

Unfortunately we had no hot water from the shower. occasionally the bath tap would run hot. I ended up using the showers in the fitness center but due to a refurbishment of the changing rooms the men's were closed so my partner could only rinse off pool side. we did report this during our stay and the owner was very quick to respond and it was being looked into, so hopefully it'll be resolved before the next guests arrive. The fan above the bed was covered in dust, it could do with a clean.

Gorgeous property, loved where it was located in the Hilton hotel, felt like we had a secret :D Such a fab space for a cute get away.

The mugs weren’t greatly clean and there was towels and sheets left in the washing machine. Could also get a bit hot, so maybe a fan for the summer months :)

Location is excellent inside the Hilton. Facilities were very good, as can choose to pay in the bar/restaurants or bring food in. Can swim in the pool. Very spacious. Great host.

The only other beds were futons that were hard, bumpy and were uncomfortable. We made it work but I wonder if this needs looking at. There is a window issue meaning if it’s windy (very likely) it’s quite noisy. Again, easy to fix. Everything else is silent as in neighbours etc.

We had a fantastic stay at the Serene Ocean Side Apartment! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The apartment was beautifully decorated, spacious, and well equipped with everything we needed (we are a small family of 3). Accessing the swimming pool was really easy. I loved the fact I could get a sauna & steam in before bedtime. I only needed to sign in at the entrance of the swimming pool, and the staff there were super friendly. For gym goers like my wife, the gym is actually 24/7, which she loved. I'm more the swimmer of the two. Excuse my long review, but we were delighted. Our son (8) loved the pool and put a big smile on his face. The beach is actually straight across the road from the entrance of the building and the infamous Brighton pier a short and exciting walk away. Last but not least, before I go. The hosts were great and helpful through messages. Although we had very few requests, they were very helpful and genuine. Thanks The Hart family.

The fact we didn't have time to stay longer! This place is a gem. We will be coming back. We saw before a few negative comments before we booked. However, we really could not see any issues at all. Everything was as described for us. Thanks

The location of the property and the natural light are really great. The hosts were very communicative and very responsive. There's plenty of space for both sleeping (big bedroom), dining and lounging.

The lighting in the living room could use some improvement, but the natural light in the morning is pretty spectacular. The beds aren't very comfortable. It would be good to have kitchen towels or paper towels in the future.
