Location is great for walking Christchurch, but not if you’re bring a vehicle. There is limited paid parking adjacent ($13) but otherwise you’d have to leave it on the street in the city at night. Communal areas are fabulous.

The room layout was strange. Queen bed would be better located in the bigger room upstairs under the skylight with a view to the night sky? One bathroom that was spartan and very cramped. I will note that having a dining nook and absolutely zero amenities - not even a cup to get water from the bathroom tap made that seem redundant. If I’m paying hotel room rates, I’d love to at least have bottled water and a kettle to make a tea without having to take a long trip down to the communal kitchen. Especially if I’m tired from flights and want to stay in.

Very nice, clean, positive environment, and friendly people, both staff and travellers.

Convenient location, close to bus station and central to all amenities. We didn’t use the cinema/yoga studio etc but fabulous that something like this is on offer. We had a queen room and it was as good as others we had paid a lot more for around NZ. Excellent value for money.

I could be wrong but I thunk I booked a female room and was a guy in my room. Wich wasn't a problem

The location is right next to the bus interchange, perfect spot to catch the early morning Intercity bus.
