The room had twin beds that took up too much space. More double rooms needed. The WiFi is brilliant The walls are a bit bare

I was in Lancaster for one night before a running event. The go2 hotel is just on the edge of the city centre and was really handy for everything. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and my room was comfortable. Ear plugs were provided so I was a little worried about noise outside and it was a little noisy up to about midnight but fine after that - even with the window open. The generous 12 noon checkout time is great.

Very basic noisy hotel. Right in the city centre above a wetherspoons that kicks out around 1am on Friday and Saturday so not a hotel for getting much sleep in

Hotel was in a great central location. Really clean. Hotel staff made sure that any excessive noise was turned down. Toilet flush was broken but was moved to another family room. Just what we needed for a quick night away to look at the university.

It was clean and tidy. I’d happily stay again. Not the hotel of anybody’s dreams but a great base for the weekend.

Our room looked out onto rooftop air con units of Wetherspoons directly opposite and their smoking terrace below so bit smelly and noisy. Ear. Buds provided by the hotel so not a major issue if you use them. No breakfast available but plenty of lovely cafes and bars so easy to sort. Checking in easy and friendly staff

The whole Lancaster area very run down and unclean would not visit again.

The Go2 Hotel is conveniently placed in the heart of Lancaster, a few minutes' walk from the railway station, bus stops, shops and eateries. The facilities are basic, no-frills but clean and well-presented with personable reception staff. So, overall good value. Only two negatives: 1) The room was not well sound-proofed against street noise, even with the window closed. The hotel provided individually-packaged ear plugs, which adequately dealt with this. 2) The WiFi was extremely patchy.

On arrival, we were not happy with beds supplied for the Children. The Hotel assistant was very friendly and understanding and provided us with a room change which better suited our needs.

Stayed at the hotel for an overnight stay to go to the Christmas panto at the Lancaster Grand Theatre. Hotel has a good location for what we needed. The long stay car park at £9 for each 24hrs was also close by. Cafe Dolce on Market Street was an excellent place to have breakfast.

Parking is a problem & directions on my iPhone directly from the Hotels.com website to the hotel were wrong. Otherwise satisfactory stay.

Staff were so lovely and was a great location near to the city centre , parking literally a stones throw away. Weatherspoons next door so fact there was no breakfast option made no difference. When I walked in and saw complimentary ear plugs I was slightly worried but no noise heard without there use considering as said so near to city centre. If I go back to Lancaster would happily just go straight to book here.
