Clean and spacious with great access to the town. Make sure you know the area's new paid parking regulations as costs vary greatly on which street you park on. The owner was very helpful in providing maps and recommendations.

Our family of 4 (kids 16 and 11) used Downtown Reykjavik apartment as our hub for our weeklong vacation to Iceland. The lodging is beautiful, spacious, quiet, perfectly located and so comfortable. Sue was super easy and on top of everything. She even took time to answer my traveler questions about accessing various sites and suggestions for our itinerary. I loved Iceland and want to return in a future summer. I would definitely use this apartment again.

Lovely apartment in great location. Except for food storage drawer in kitchen, very clean. Sue and Dieter went out of their way to be helpful including when we locked ourselves out! Highly recommend.

Everything about this property was just perfect! The location allowed us to easily explore the city and it was such a warm and inviting place to come home to after a day of adventure. Beautiful warm apartment. Welcoming and cosy. Wished we had longer in Iceland. Definitely check out Sundhollin pool. Perlan is also worth a visit. South Coast tour was a long day but definitely worth it. Already planning to return in the Summer months sometime. Fireworks were insane!!

This flat was everything that we needed! It's conveniently accessible with a Bonus Store just around the corner. Convenient parking available for those with a car. The host was gracious and the apartment was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!

The apartment is in a great location that is easy to find. It is close to shopping, restaurants and groceries. Sue is a wonderful host. She was very quick to respond to any questions. Clean, well furnished, great location close to a nice variety of restaurants and pubs. The kitchen, living room, and master BR are very roomy and offer good views of the area. The second BR is a bit tight if you have large suitcases. The only negative, especially if you have large suitcases, would be the 2 flights of stairs. Paid city parking (Zone P2) was available on the street close to the entry door. Our host, Sue, was easy to communicate with via email and provided lots of useful info about local food, tourist sites, etc.

This apartment is in the perfect location to explore everything Reykjavik has to offer. Within 5-10 minute walk, you are right in the middle of everything - shops, dining, nightlife. One of the bus stops for tour pick-ups is 1.5 blocks away. The apartment is beautiful and very clean. Our family of four (boys are 20 & 17) had an amazing time and are already starting to plan our next trip. Highly recommend the Wake Up Reykjavik food tour - learn lots of history of the city and get to try many traditional dishes!

Had a wonderful stay in our center of town apartment. Our contact with the host was easy and they always responded promptly. The apartment is steps away from the restaurant and shopping street of Laugavegur. But far enough away to not hear noise from the street. The beds were comfortable, the living room large for nightime gatherings, and the apartment was very clean. It is 2 flights up for those with mobility issues with stairs. We heard the neighbors a few times through the walls, but it never was bothersome. If we return to Iceland, we would choose this apartment again. Cheers!

This property was a perfect home for us while we were visiting Iceland. It was nicely appointed, had any appliances and utensils we needed when we felt like cooking at home, and was in walking distance to everything in downtown Reykjavik, just steps away from the main shopping street, coffee shops, restaurants, and sightseeing. The apartment is very specious, had comfortable beds and cozy linens, great bathroom with a shower. We definitely will return when we are back to iceland. We had a car rental and parking was simple to find, and Easy Park app was great help for paying on a fly. If you have an electric vehicle like we had, there is a charging station next to the pool that made our recharging overnight super simple. I highly recommend this place. Sue was an amazing host, proactively communicated to us details and was very responsive. We were fortunate to find this apartment and have such a pleasant experience. Thank you

Apartment is as described. We enjoyed having the space to gather together as well as room apart to rest. The location was very convenient to activities around town. One note for older people - there are stairs - two long flights that you must carry your luggage up. Thanks for sharing your apartment with us! We would stay there again if in Reykjavik.

Apartment was very clean with a great location and mostly everything you need for a stay in Reykjavik.

The apartment is large and located on the edge of all the shopping and dining activities, so nearby, without the bustle. Washer/dryer/wifi/dishwasher. The beds are lowish with fairly thin mattresses, but comfortable. Very easy to communicate with the owner, and complete information provided. And just up the hill from a hotel where tour and airport busses stop.

We loved everything about this apartment!! The location is walking distance to everything but tucked away on a quiet street. Parking was easy. The apartment was spacious and clean. Sue was very accommodating and provided information prior to our trip which made for an easy arrival. We would absolutely stay at this location next time we visit Reykjavik.

We are here for two weeks in Reykjavik. This flat is fantastic. Comfortable, clean, easy walking distance to everything. Sue is fantastic to work with.

The entrance does not match the apartment. We were hesitant at first but once we made it to the apartment door on the second floor it looks just as described and the pictures. We enjoyed being able to walk to so many places in the city. The owner communicates often and gives detailed info about the apartment and the area. If you are looking to spend some time in the city you won’t go wrong with this place.

Excellent location, huge common areas, great shower, very bright and clean. Information package from the hosts was well thought-out and helpful. Easy to find street parking.
