The room is big and contains everything a business traveler may need (even ironing tools). Furthermore, the staff is extremely friendly, and the hotel has other advantages such as the complementary breakfast or the gym room.

The only thing that bothered me is the plastic utensils, cups, and plates used for the breakfast. Not everything is recyclable, which contributes to a bunch of waste while they could just as easily provide real cutlery. I feel this hotel can do a bit more for the environment.

One thing that I really loved about the hotel, was its location. The location of the hotel is directly along King Street which has majority of the restaurants and venue that you can visit when we travel. We were right next to the metro station, so we were able to take the trolley up and down King Street to visit restaurants or to go to the waterfront. The breakfast was okay it was your standard couple of hot meal options and of course cereal and coffee. The room size was okay, but for a suite I was expecting a little bit more room, but overall it was your standard size room. The bed was comfortable, and the room did look clean, and I could definitely tell the room was non-smoking

If you're someone that wants to enjoy laying down and watching TV in the room, I highly recommend bringing a fire stick with you. Their TV channels are terrible. I was very disappointed that as update as a hotel was, is there a TV did not have any stream services or it didn't have any movie channels. Some hotels will stay, give you all the channels as part of the room deal however, this hotel did not. So if enjoy watching TV from time to time we are just in the room highly recommend a fire stick or a Roku stick. That is probably my biggest and only complaint about this hotel.

The attention at the reception is excellent. The breakfast is very good and the rooms are very clean.

The room was clean and the location was close to Reagan National Airport as well as the Metro stop. There was also a trolley stop right outside the hotel for getting up and down King Street which was important for us as we were there for a wedding with several different event venues in the area.

We stayed multiple days and were told at check-in that there would be no room service during our stay unless we requested it. That was fine with us, but when we requested clean towels, a form needed to be filled out at the desk. It felt as if the request was an inconvenience for the staff. There was also a fan in the bathroom that ran constantly and was a little loud.

Everything went well with my stay; particular shout out to Jane at the front desk who checked me in upon arrival and was super friendly and helpful throughout my stay! (All your staff were great, but she was a particular bright spot!)

Location

Cleanliness - First room mirror covered with dried water drips and counter with dust and grime. Reception moved us to a second room. At first appeared acceptable. But, then saw similar though less offensive bathroom mirror streaks. Shower/tub drain clogged so it ran very slow. Light bulb burned out in bedside lamp. Room stuffy and HVAC system never really made it comfortable during the night. We were in town for a funeral and just needed to get rested, so stayed anyway. Maintenance staff not available to change light bulb when I phoned. Receptions said she would have them come up when they came in. We had to briefly meet with family and did not want staff in the room while we weren't there so posted DO NOT DISTURB SIGN. Staff entered room to change bulb when we had DO NOT DISTURB sign posted. Complimentary breakfast was the worst offering I've experienced at any hotel. Rubbery egg omelettes. Waffles like styrofoam. Oatmeal tasteless and gummy. Pre peeled and packaged hardboiled eggs seemed to be the best option but even that we rejected wondering how long they had been there because the pkg. was so rumpled looking.

The air conditioning was very noisy when the fan kicked in and you couldn't sleep at night due to the noise. The plug in the bath didn't stay open so when showering the bath filled with water. The hotel was dated and needed up grading. The breakfast was basic and I had to ask for them to keep it stocked up. The cooked breakfast was very greasy and no low fat options.

The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The rooms were good and had a good amount of space. The breakfast was good.

The bathroom tub was small and uneven. I lost my balance a couple of times while showering. One of the elevators was not working so it was a long wait to get off the floor. There were people parking in the garage handicap spots with no sign if they were handicap or not.

Breakfast was great, the staff was friendly and the room was clean and spacious.

The bed was very hard and uncomfortable, but my husband found it to be comfortable, The bathroom door was difficult to close.
