Extremely disgusting. The photos did not match what the rooms were. I found leftover drugs on our nightstand. Our doors would not lock. The beds would sag and stank. There was prostitutes and drug dealers litered throughout the parking lot and all hours of the day and night. This place should be condemned

room was deceiving from picture, chairs in room was not fit to sit on full of stains, towels was not up to standard, parking lot and front of entrance to the room was not ploughed, full of snow at 4.15 pm in the evening.

The only thing I like was the bed

I came to Canada from Ukraine, fleeing from the war. booked a room in American Plaza motel to work remotely. American Plaza motel is a horrible place to stay. The day I moved in it was freezing in the room. Then apparently I realized there is no window at all, it is broken and a cardboard instead of the window which makes it colder. I went to front desk to ask to turn on the heat, but the lady wasn’t helpful at all, she said she will call someone and fix it, which they did hours later. Also she was not polite at all. The only person who cared about me as a guest was cleaning lady, she said she will bring her heater from her room, which she did. In addition, the wifi didn’t work which was shocking because I booked a hotel to work remotely from there. I asked to switch the room but they said it’s fully booked which I doubt. Also there are cockroaches in the room which is disgusting. The price I paid is outrages. When I booked motel I knew it’s not a five star hotel, but the conditions in this room is just a hell. I would like to get a refund or any compensation for these inconvenience if possible. Let me know. Thank you

Paid $1600 for 9 days... For drug addicts to be running rampid stating they paid less for the month... When we asked the staff he said it was cheaper rooms... Umm the week prior we rented that exact room for the weekend and paid full prices... I only know this as a homeless couple I know and have helped in past are currently renting such room... Also the cops where their all weekend cause someone died in a room... Pretty sure it was a O.D. Or worse... Also pretty sure the staff are the ones providing the "tenets" with their drugs... They are scammers... No soap, 1 towel, dirty bed sheets, freezing room, dirty walls, noisy, fighting and police present almost everyday.. I mean no power to anything even fridge we had to plug everything in... So cold... Didn't salt walk ways and parking lot, probably so the staff could continue doing donuts in the parking lot... The lock on door was garbage, our key got stuck and my partner had to miss a 10h day of pay cause "no-one" was around to fix the lock, as the "maintenance-person" walked across the parking lot .... wouldn't work with us in any way for compensation as there lack of care for the property left my partner no choice but to stay in a room she could not lock due to our two dogs inside and miss a 10h shift, not leaving door unlocked with dogs inside till I returned from work. .. . . Checked out and still no one had come to fix lock. No basic necessities.. that any random Hotel would have... $100 deposit for keys that didn't work .. the bed was by far the worst... I'm sure that bed was either 30 years old and def was evident that 30 years of people had caved in that bed... Say many health code violations happening there ..
