The staff were nice and helpful. The location is good in terms of being close to places.

The view from the room is poor - in one room the window faced an internal dirty small yard. I asked to switch the room because it was next to the elevators and in the room I got, the window faced a wall (30 cm away). The streets around the hotel have a lot of homeless people - I did not feel safe walking there at night. During daytime it is better, but not so pleasant.

Excellent location, centrally located … to theater venues, art museums, recommended restaurants: Prubechu, Brenda’s French Soul Food, and Suragan Contemporary Korean, and easily walkable to the Ferry Building, for outings to Sausalito and Angel Island. The staff was helpful and friendly … when I checked in, Jason, at the front desk, handled my booking, and kindly gave me an upgrade. Fantastic, spacious suite. Jason said that the manager is from Hawai’i, and is looking to initiate a “Kama’aina Rate” for Hawai’i residents staying at the hotel. I have spread the word on “the coconut wireless.”

This hotel is ideally located on Geary, off of main Market Street, but being centrally located in the city, also means noisy all-nighters, yelling pedestrians at 2 a.m., screaming crazy people.

Room was chilly - couldn’t get it warm enough even with heat on 89 degrees. I thought I read that we were supposed to have robes and a fridge in the premier rooms? We did not so I could be wrong?

Close to Union Square and the Cable Car stops. Staff were very helpful. 20% discount at nearby breakfast diner.

Homeless people and druggies. Very dated. No food options for breakfast. How long it took for the shower to run hot.

The location is great for using the BART system to get to and from the Airport. You're right by Union Square and so it's easy to get to almost anywhere you want to go as a tourist. The rooms were comfortable too.

The night manager was rude to me. As a African American he looked at me as I was nothing to him no hello how are you doing and or welcome to our hotel just rude all the way around.
